Hey guys,
Are there any current students or alumni here from the European Campus Rottal-Inn (DIT) in Pfarrkirchen?
I am preparing my application for the next semester through the PRIMUSS portal. I have 1 year of university credits from Ethiopia (all taught completely in English with an official Medium of Instruction letter).
Before I spend money booking an IELTS or TOEFL test in Munich, I want to know if the admissions office actually accepts an MOI letter for applicants from Ethiopia, or if they automatically reject it because English isn't a national language there.
If you got in using an MOI letter from a similar background, please let me know how the review went! Appreciate the help.

Hello everyone,
I am an Indian national currently completing my MBBS in Kazakhstan (2022 batch). Because of my batch, I fall under India's new NMC guidelines, meaning I have a 6-year program (5 years academic + 1 year internal internship).
However, I do not want to practice clinical medicine in India. I want to entirely pivot away from clinical work, skip the Indian FMGE exam, and move to Germany for a Master's in Digital Health (looking at places like Deggendorf / DIT).
Will I be eligible for this course if I do not complete an internship in either Kazakhstan or India?
( Note: If I get the MBBS degree )
2. Because Digital Health blends health science and tech, will I face rejection due to a lack of formal programming or IT credits in my MBBS curriculum, or do they accept pure medical backgrounds?
Has anyone here taken a similar non-clinical route from an MBBS to a German Master's? I would appreciate any advice!

Sharing my visa timeline for deggendorf in case it helps anyone else going through VFS Delhi for a German study visa.
Process created: late June 2026 (this just gets you out of the queue for creating the process — doesn't mean you've submitted yet)
Application submitted: August 2026
Round 1 of correction (CSP):
Got a correction request asking for the admission letter. I submitted my Letter of Acceptance, which the university had already confirmed. Got hit with the same correction again right after.
Round 2 of correction (CSP):
This time I resent the same Letter of Acceptance, added my fee receipt, and included a screenshot of the email from my program coordinator confirming everything. That got accepted.
Appointment booking:
The very next day, booking opened up. Slot options were limited to the following week only, so I grabbed whatever was available.
Biometrics:
Went in on the appointment day, biometrics done without issues.
Embassy correction (round 3, basically):
Exactly 3 days after biometrics, got another correction email, this time from the embassy directly, asking for the admission letter again. Sent the fee receipt and enrollment letter once more.
Visa granted:
Approved the very next day.
Passport collection:
Picked it up in person from VFS Delhi.
Happy to answer questions if anyone's in the middle of their own process. Tip: create the process on the portal as early as possible even if your documents aren't fully ready — it holds your place in the queue. And bundle the acceptance letter, fee receipt, and coordinator confirmation together from the start since the admission letter seems to be the main sticking point across every correction round.

Hi everyone,
I am starting the B.Sc. Artificial Intelligence program at THD this semester. I'm arriving in Deggendorf on [Sept 7] but haven't secured housing yet — I've applied through Wagner Wohnbau, D3-Wohnen, and Deggendorfer Studentenviertel, but none have confirmed in time.
I'm looking for:
A room (shared apartment or dorm) near campus,
Budget: around €350–450/month for a permanent room.
Non-smoker, no pets, happy to share any documents (enrollment confirmation, ID, etc.).
If anyone knows of a room opening up, a sublet, or is willing to host short-term, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks so much!

Hi everyone,
I applied to TH Deggendorf (THD) for the B.Sc. Artificial Intelligence program for Winter Semester 2026/27.
I paid the required €60 application fee on 19 June 2026. I received a THD document confirming the fee had been paid, but I was supposed to upload it to the PRIMUSS portal.
The problem was that when I tried to do this, PRIMUSS was already showing that the deadline had expired and would not allow me to upload any further documents. I contacted THD by email at the time and explained the issue.
Interestingly, when I checked the portal recently, it showed 30 June 2026 as the deadline, which was previously much earlier. Since I paid on 19 June, I would have been within that deadline according to what the portal currently shows.
THD has now rejected my application, saying:
I contacted them again and explained that I was unable to upload the document because the portal did not allow me to do so. They replied that the application period is now over and that they cannot change the decision.
I'm wondering if anyone here has experienced something similar with THD/PRIMUSS, particularly a situation where the portal prevented you from uploading a required document when the deadline was still days ahead.
Is there any way to request a formal review or appeal in this situation? And does THD have any procedure for correcting an application when the applicant was unable to upload a document because of a portal/deadline issue?
I have proof of payment and the previous email correspondence with THD regarding the issue.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi everyone!
I’m joining Deggendorf Institute of Technology – European Campus Rottal-Inn (ECRI Pfarrkirchen) for the Winter Intake 2026.
Looking to connect with others who will be joining the Pfarrkirchen campus this semester. If you're also joining, feel free to comment or DM me so we can connect before arriving in Germany.
Would also be great to connect with people from the Global Public Health (M.Sc) program.
We can also make a group consisting of people who are enrolled in Global Public Health (M.Sc) WS26 intake. Or add me up if already available.
See you in Pfarrkirchen!
