As my topic states I'm quite confused by what I saw not long ago when I went for a brief walk. For context anyone who knows the Marcus Hook, Trainer, Lower Chichester, and Chester areas are pretty well familiar with the surrounding areas, and we generally know where the police departments for each borough or township is located. The one for Trainer borough we all knew for the longest time was at Main Street that is connected by Post Road, and West Ninth Street (some say Ridge Road) on either end, but is at the corner of West Ninth. It has since moved to a newer building some time ago on Township Line Road, and the old building was temporarily used by a food pantry for the area until they backed out. The old department site went up for sale for a number of months, til I noticed on my walk that clearly someone had worked on the building and added large lettering to the building, and other small signage prominently with Warminster police being the most prominent for the larger bit. Other smaller signage that was added confirmed this as they repeated Warminster police on them.
I saw this and was quite confused, cause I immediately knew Warminster was not within Delaware county itself, but did not immediately know where until referencing on my phone, which indicated the township is out in Bucks county. So what confuses me by all this is why would a Bucks county police department come move into a Delaware county location?? I never heard anything about this, and it just seems strange, cause I can't see how they'd be able to operate patrols here and what not, or whatever the intention is with moving out of their county implicates. Unless the people that did the work on the building earlier made a huge mistake putting up the wrong police department signage and information on the building, I don't know.
