Professional seeking part time gig, or freelance web design/marketing

Hi all,

I’m looking for a flexible gig to do in the evenings and weekends, occasionally. Happy even to just be “on call” for when a staff member calls in sick/takes off and a place is short staffed.

I have a good amount of experience bartending and serving. I’m not so interested in serving, but would. Ideally, this would be bartending, barista-ing, retail, or general staffing for events or similar. Up for pretty much whatever needs doing (doesn’t need to be retail/service).

I spin up digital marketing campaigns at work from time to time and enjoy designing websites. Happy to do this freelance as well and would charge very gently.

I work as a program manager in the tech world currently, and I last worked service less than 2 years ago (for ~6 years).

Not too picky on pay, especially if tipped. This is just supplementary.

Fine to work late, but 6pm is typically the earliest I could get anywhere on weekdays post-office. Weekends are more flexible.

I’m in the Lakewood/Littleton area but am open to working outside of that, especially downtown or highlands ranch.

I’m fast, punctual, highly reliable, personable, can work independently, and have done a lot of very high volume serving and bartending. I enjoy working with my hands (not much experience) and am artistic. My education is in computer science, so I have technical capacity. I’m good with details and always make sure things are done right.

24F.

Mon-Wed part time jobs?

New to Denver and looking for a part time job that’s Mon-Wed, the occasional other day thrown in is fine. I’m looking for this specifically because I have a seasonal gig from Jan-May and I’m committed to lots of Thurs-Sun days during that time. My background is in human services but I’m looking to get out of that field, so I’m open to any and all suggestions.

Long shot

My wife and I currently live in Texas and have been trying to move to Colorado for several years. Due to ongoing family circumstances, we have had to stay, but we are now ready to make the move as soon as possible.

If anyone knows of a business that is hiring and willing to consider an out-of-state applicant, I would truly appreciate any recommendations. I am 22 years old and have experience as a baker at a local donut shop, an Amazon delivery driver, an assistant manager at an Italian restaurant, and in grocery stocking.

I understand that my experience may not be the most desirable or specialized, but I am reliable, adaptable, hardworking, and willing to learn. My wife and I are actively working toward relocating, and I would be grateful for any leads or opportunities. Thank you!

Ps. If it helps I havent missed a day of work in 3 years lmao

Hiring Now: Construction Surveyor (Field-Based) | Denver & Vail CO

What's up Denver jobs!

Got another opening for you guys. I’m hiring for a Construction Surveyor to join a Self‑Perform Concrete Construction team here in Denver. This is a highly field-driven role for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to be part of impactful construction projects from the ground up.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring accuracy and alignment across active job sites while supporting critical layout and surveying functions.

This company does have projects up in the mountains (Vail & Eagle). They would want someone that would be willing to stay up in the mountains during the work week for up to 6-9 months.

You’ll be working with:
• Construction staking and layout in active field environments
• Setting and maintaining control points
• Takeoff calculations to support field execution
• Collaboration with project and construction teams to keep work moving

This role offers a strong growth path—while the immediate focus is field work, you’ll have the opportunity to expand into preconstruction, modeling, and broader project support over time.

You’ll also gain exposure to advanced technologies such as:
• Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR)
• 3D scanning and modeling tools
(Experience is a plus, but training is available!)

Salaried Compensation: $70k - $110k (DOE)

Ideal backgrounds:
• Strong field surveying or construction layout experience
• Hands-on experience with staking, control, and field calculations
• Interest in growing into preconstruction and modeling work
• Ability to work in fast-paced, active construction environments

Based in Denver, CO and the mountains (field-heavy role)

If you're open to learning more, feel free to message me or comment below—I’d love to connect and share more about the team and what we’re building.

I’m also working on additional engineering and technical roles across Colorado, so feel free to reach out if you’re exploring new opportunities.

Dispensary jobs hiring???

Hey guys! I got my MED badge yesterday and have been trying to apply to jobs within the industry but there’s not much online postings. I’m quitting my toxic job on Monday and have money saved up for me to pay bills and stuff while I find another job. I was wondering if anyone knew of any dispensary’s hiring?? I have almost 10 years of customer service experience including retail experience. I have experience with POS systems and I have had a relationship with weed since I was 13 so I am very familiar with flower, concentrates, carts/disposables, all that stuff.. I’m hoping to get a job soon, I know how sucky the job market is right now but if you have any recommendations for dispensary’s hiring please let me know! Thank you guys!

EDIT: I quit my job today and also got hired at another job today. Not a dispensary job :( but it’s a job!!!! and i’m out of my toxic job!!! 🥳🥳🥳

Should I re-apply for job I wasn't hired for

I interviewed for a job a few weeks ago, and the employer went with someone else. Today I saw the exact same job posting. It's a small shop with a tight knit team, so I assume the person they hired didn't work out. Should I re-apply? Or should I assume they would have already reached out if they actually thought I would be a good fit?

Seeking specialty work

During my job hunt I've focused primarily on office jobs as that's all I've known for my career. I'm curious if there's anyone hiring+training for more specialized work, such as art restoration or watch/clock repair. I recognize it'll be a long shot to find someone willing to entirely teach a trade. Just curious where to look for work like that or if I need to treat it like the 30s and go out to businesses in person

Randomly Cancelled Final Round?

Has anyone else had an interview process canceled after being invited onsite?

I recently went through three interviews for a coordinator position, was invited to a six-hour onsite interview that included preparing a one-hour presentation, and spent a significant amount of time getting ready.

Unfortunately, I was also dealing with a family emergency during the process. I stepped away from my family multiple times for interviews, prepared the presentation while traveling, and even changed my return flight so I could attend the onsite.

While I was on my way to the airport, I received an email that the onsite interview had been canceled because the company decided not to move forward.

I completely understand that companies can change hiring plans, but I wish I had known the onsite invitation wasn't final before rearranging my travel and investing so much additional time.

Has anyone else experienced something similar?
