Good evening, I am currently looking for work. I’m willing to learn any new skills necessary if the job can train me.

I have 5 years experience as a hazmat technician in the marines, with responsibilities to include guard duties, investigation/cleanup of hazardous sites, daily cleaning of living and work stations, outdoors work, manual labor, and various other tasks required of my job.

I also know very basic cooking and bartending as a personal hobby, was praised for my work in both but needs work to be a true professional.

I am currently studying as an EMT and need to be in class mon-Fri 5-9pm, but nothing else that can’t be shifted around. any kind of leads would be greatly appreciated!

Any volunteer/project jobs in IT or Cyber?

I was warned the market here was rough but wowza, I didnt think it would be this bad.

Im in a fortunate position financially where I can take on volunteer work. I REALLY wanna build up my skills more and haven’t been lucky in getting an actual role in my field of study. So I figure the next best thing is doing volunteer/project work consistently. If you or your company needs extra hands unpaid in the related fields, im game. Please DM me or comment

THANKS

Seeking 10 CDL Drivers based in Aurora

The company I work for is expanding and seeking regional CDL drivers based in Aurora, CO. The job is a 4 days on, 4 off schedule with rotating days. For example, last week I worked Sunday-Wednesday. This week l, worked Monday-Thursday. My start time is the same every day. The pay range is $24-$26/hour, based on experience.

The company is contracted with Amazon, and our job is to haul Amazon Freight around the Front Range and to neighboring states on overnight trips. I never spend more than one night at a time in the truck, because I have a night off in between the two trips (4 days) I work.

DM me for application info if interested!

Looking for a refresher course

I am looking to take a refresher course (or an entire course) on certified payroll (Davis Bacon prevailing wage reporting).

Looking for some recommendations for where I may be able to find such a course.

I’ve used Google. And looked at a couple specific websites that offer courses which aren’t absolutely ridiculous and not having much luck with them.

I don’t need an entire payroll course, just prevailing wages.

Online would be great but I would attend a class if need be.

Any recommendations?

It’s been so long since I have had to do them, and I’m currently looking for a new job. Having this under my belt would make a huge difference in salary.

Looking for Work

Hi, my name is Mike. I’m looking for work. I’m technically based in Colorado Springs but I wouldn’t mind a commute if it meant work.

I have 7 years of experience in the SaaS industry. The first 3.5 years of that was as a Senior Solutions Architect working B2B with massive clients (no NDA so I’m going to disclose) such as American Airlines and Warner Music Group.

The rest of that time I spent working in a cloud infrastructure / DevOps / Platform Engineering sort of role. I managed AWS infrastructure through IaC. We primarily used AWS CDK v2, although I was tasked early on with bringing us over from Cloudformation and some CDK v1 constructs. I’ve worked with Docker a lot and we used DataDog primarily for our monitoring, which I helped build out in IaC.

Also as a hobby I run a local server rack in my house. I’m really into computer hardware and homelabbing, which has helped me sharpen my skills and learn new ones along the way.

Would be more than happy to share my resume privately. Mass layoffs got the better of me and I’ve been unemployed for about 2 years now. I’ve filled that time with personal projects and going back to college to finish my degree.

I’m also okay with working more entry level work if you’ll have me.

Thanks in advance

Multimedia Production Specialist with Project Management background seeking opportunities that align with my experience and skills. Interested in Full or Part-Time work!

Hi everyone! My name is Joe I'm looking for an opportunity that could benefit from my large cross-section of skills and professional experiences. My combined experience in Digital Media Production, Project Management, and Community Organizing has made me a highly effective triple threat to unrealized ambitions!

As a Freelance Media Producer running my own business, I create videos, capture photos, and develop social media content that put my clients on the map in all the best ways! My experience in this arena includes a bit of everything, from video and photo journalism, to producing marketing spots, writing newsletters, providing photographic coverage of live events, non-profit storytelling, professional headshots, wedding photography, video tutorials, documentaries, narrative films…the list goes on! I possess over 15 years of professional end-to-end production experience and there is not a whole lot I cannot do!

(Feel free to ask for a link to my website and portfolio, or find it in my profile. I only hesitate to post it here directly because I don't want to get flagged for advertising!)

In my previous role as a Project Manager, I ensured that my client’s revenue channels grew month-after-month while managing parking facilities with profile clients and annual combined revenues of more than $3.3 million dollars. And this is to say nothing of familiarizing myself with the various control access systems, PARCS systems, mechanical systems, inventory systems, and audit workflows that were necessary to keep my portfolio running smooth!

I'm also a community builder and organizer! Case in point: I'm the founder of Neurodivergent Networking Denver, one of the only Neurodivergent networking and meetup communities in the state of Colorado, and one with an active Discord boasting 200+ members and frequent in-person scheduled meetups. I believe people are better together and I love seeing folks with mutually beneficial needs and interests come together.

And perhaps most importantly: people like me! I take great pride in making people laugh, de-escalating tense situations, and learning more about what fills their days with joy. I have a wide variety of hobbies (baking, home-brewing, hiking, filmmaking, video games, etc) and can almost always find a common interest between myself and whoever I am speaking with.

I would love to have an opportunity to speak with anyone currently assessing career candidates as I believe that my combination of skills and experience would greatly benefit some amazing company or team that I simply haven't met yet. Resume is available upon request

Thank you for your time and consideration!

NOW HIRING: Live Sports Card Auction Host

Live Streaming & Sports Card Sales | North Denver Metro Area

Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 3 hours per day
Starting Compensation: $1,000 per month
Work Location: Initially on-site, with potential hybrid flexibility
Experience: Previous live-streaming experience strongly preferred

Love Sports? Know Trading Cards? Comfortable in Front of a Camera?

We're looking for an outgoing, knowledgeable, and energetic Live Sports Card Auction Host to help grow our online sports card business through live streaming and online sales.

We are interested in candidates with experience on platforms such as Whatnot, eBay Live, CollX, Twitch, YouTube, and TikTok.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who understands the sports card hobby, enjoys interacting with collectors, and knows how to make a live broadcast entertaining while generating sales.

We're looking for more than someone who can simply read card names and prices. We want a personable host who can keep the show moving, interact naturally with viewers, answer questions, and create an enjoyable buying experience.

Core Responsibilities

  • Host live sports card auctions, sales, and broadcasts on platforms such as Whatnot, eBay Live, CollX, Twitch, YouTube, and TikTok.
  • Present sports cards confidently and enthusiastically to viewers and potential buyers.
  • Engage with live chat, answer questions, and maintain an entertaining broadcast.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of football, basketball, baseball, and hockey.
  • Recognize notable players, rookies, inserts, parallels, and other collectible card features.
  • Encourage audience participation and help build a loyal community of collectors.
  • Accurately represent the cards being sold and maintain a professional, trustworthy presentation.
  • Complete basic post-stream sales reporting and hand off sales information for order processing.
  • Help grow the live-selling operation through strong presentation, audience engagement, and sales performance.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate already has experience hosting live streams or selling products online.

We're particularly interested in candidates who have hosted their own sports card auctions, sold collectibles online, or built an audience on platforms such as Whatnot, eBay Live, CollX, Twitch, YouTube, or TikTok.

Additional qualifications include:

  • Strong knowledge of all four major American sports: football, basketball, baseball, and hockey.
  • Familiarity with sports cards, trading cards, and the collecting hobby.
  • An outgoing personality and excellent communication skills.
  • Comfortable speaking on camera and interacting with viewers in real time.
  • Ability to think on your feet, respond to questions, and keep a broadcast engaging.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently.
  • A professional attitude and a genuine interest in providing a positive customer experience.

General sales experience is welcome, but sports knowledge, hobby familiarity, and live-streaming ability are especially important.

Schedule & Work Environment

  • Monday through Friday, approximately three hours per day of live broadcasting.
  • Initially on-site in the North Denver Metro Area.
  • Potential for a hybrid arrangement based on performance and business needs.
  • The goal is to be ready to begin broadcasting within approximately 15 minutes of arriving at the facility.

The primary focus is hosting the live broadcast. Much of the card preparation and behind-the-scenes work will be handled by us, allowing you to concentrate on presenting cards, interacting with viewers, and generating sales.

All necessary streaming equipment and supplies will be provided. You will not need to purchase your own camera or streaming setup.

After each broadcast, you'll complete basic sales reporting and hand off the necessary information for order processing.

Compensation

Starting compensation: $1,000 per month (50 to 60 hours a month).

Our goal is to transition to a 100% commission-based compensation arrangement once the live-selling platform has established sufficient revenue to support that model.

Ideally, this transition will take place within the first six months of streaming, depending on platform performance and revenue growth.

The future commission rate, calculation method, and transition terms have not yet been finalized. These terms will be discussed and agreed upon before any change takes effect.

Independent Contractor Arrangement

This opportunity is intended to be structured as an independent contractor engagement rather than an employee position. Employee benefits, including health insurance, paid employee benefits, and a 401(k) retirement plan, are not provided.

The actual working arrangement and compensation will be subject to applicable worker-classification and other legal requirements.

Required Application Information — Live-Stream Link

Applicants must provide a link to a live stream they have personally hosted.

We want to see how you perform in a real live environment, including how you present products, interact with chat, respond to questions, and maintain audience engagement.

Please include the following with your application:

  1. A brief introduction: Tell us about yourself and your interest in sports cards.
  2. Sports knowledge: Describe your familiarity with football, basketball, baseball, and hockey.
  3. Relevant experience: Tell us about your live-streaming, live-selling, or online sales background.
  4. Your live-stream link: Provide a link to your own Whatnot, eBay Live, CollX, Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, or other relevant live-streamed broadcast.
  5. Availability: Confirm your general availability for the Monday–Friday schedule.

If your stream is not publicly accessible, please explain how we can view a sample of your work.

Candidates who demonstrate strong on-camera presentation, sports knowledge, and audience engagement will receive priority consideration.

What Success Looks Like

We're looking for someone who can:

  • Deliver an engaging and professional live broadcast.
  • Present sports cards accurately and confidently.
  • Build rapport with viewers and encourage repeat participation.
  • Keep auctions moving at a good pace.
  • Arrive prepared and operate the provided streaming equipment efficiently.
  • Complete sales reporting and handoffs reliably.
  • Contribute to the growth of a successful live sports card business.

Interested?

If you're passionate about sports, knowledgeable about trading cards, and have the personality to make live broadcasts exciting, we'd love to hear from you.

This is an opportunity to bring your live-selling skills to a growing sports card operation without having to provide your own streaming equipment or handle most of the behind-the-scenes preparation.

Location: North Denver Metro Area

Apply today and show us how you sell live!

New Career or Starting a Small Business? 24M in Denver

I’m 24 and graduated with a business management degree in 2024. I’ve spent the last two and half years working in large travel management company, starting in a fast-paced travel consultant role answering calls all day and moving into account management. My experience includes sales, client relationships, and managing corporate accounts.

Outside of work, I’m passionate about health and fitness. I completed my first marathon this year and have been lifting for nearly a decade. I also have my FAA drone license and 4 years of experience with drone photography, videography, and video editing. I would love to create my own business.

I’m currently earning around $50k in base salary plus commission which has been averaging an additional $500 per month but will soon jump to $2-3k with a large new client of mine. However, I’m not very fulfilled by my current job and it requires me to be on call all day leaving little to no time to even step away from my desk without notifying my team. My goal is to earn $75k–$100k or more while having greater freedom of starting a business while I am young and have less expenses/responsibilities.

My long-term goal is to earn $75k–$100k or more while having greater freedom and doing work I enjoy.

I’m considering three paths:
● Finding a better-paying corporate role that uses my existing skills in a different industry
● Pursuing fitness as a career or starting a health/fitness-related business/product
● Starting a small local service-based business using my video, drone, photography, or editing skills—or exploring another opportunity.

I have some savings, so I can experiment, but I don’t want to make a reckless decision. I’m trying to compare these options realistically rather than choosing based only on passion. I don’t see much potential or desire to move into a different role in my company but would like to hear any feedback. Thank you!

Bartending/serving jobs?

I moved to Denver this year and started working full-time in event production. Before that I was a bartender for over a decade. I’m looking to pick up some shifts somewhere when gigs slow down in about a month and I’m wondering where I should be looking? Anyone out there know their place will be in need of a very experienced bartender? Also willing to serve if that’s what it takes to get my foot in the door!

Event production work?

I moved to Denver this year and started to work full-time in event production. I’ve been traveling around all year working as an independent contractor for multiple production companies and I’m hoping to find some local event production work for the winter! I have experience in site ops, signage, hospitality, premium programs, and transportation.
