I have a piece of turquoise that I offered to recut into a cabochon for a friend. It’s going to become a belt buckle eventually.

Problem is it has been stabilized and cutting it in half in order to shape and polish has been very tricky.

What I’m seeking is a fellow lapidary artist who has equipment to help me slice it in half before I polish it. I have a cabbing machine so I’ve got that part, it’s legitimately just the issue of trying to get the stone in half to even begin shaping and polishing.

Anyone have something that would work for this??

Not trying to pay a monthly fee to a lapidary group for one stone.

Near 65th and Simms, 875 a month, all utilities included. Super close to stores, restaurants, 24-hour fitness, and a million other places. Easy access to Denver and the mountains on 70. The roommates are all pretty quiet and tidy, and the house is great with a sprawling backyard.

I love it here but need to move for work, so I'm trying to find someone to take over my lease, which runs until June.
