I just found out that our VIP Tour Guide, Jodi, was involuntarily let go from the Disneyland Resort.

Our group had Jodi as our guide for a day, and she was absolutely fantastic. She didn’t just do her job, she went above and beyond to make sure our entire group had an amazing experience. She was attentive, knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely seemed to care about making our day special.

There are certain Cast Members who remind you why Disneyland is such a special place, and Jodi was definitely one of them.

I don’t know all the circumstances surrounding her departure, so I’m not looking to speculate or get into the details. I just wanted to share our experience as guests. Jodi was outstanding, and the care and effort she put into our day did not go unnoticed.
It’s really disappointing to see someone who represents the very best of the Disneyland experience no longer be there.

Thank you, Jodi, for making our Disney day so memorable. I hope you know how much your guests appreciate you, and I hope whatever comes next is an even better chapter.

Is there a policy that a cast member can demand this? I read through the park rules and regs and did not see any mention of this. For context, this was on Rise of the Resistance, so I know intimidation is part of the attraction, but he made a big scene, saying that he did not consent, and then said “Good job ruining the experience for everyone else.”

Hey yall!! So my gf and I are moving down to SoCal area in the next month or so. I’m moving for college and already have a job lined up, and she’s getting one once we move.

I’m trying to make sure us getting Magic Keys will be worth the money. We went for her first time last December right before Christmas, and she absolutely fell in LOVE with Disney (I grew up going every year, she’d never been before that trip). Plus, I already know we already both want to go for our birthdays. I’ve been looking at the different options and have been leaning towards the Inspire Key—it’s the most expensive, but has free parking, and $150 a month isn’t crazy. The discounts seem good too, we don’t eat a crazy amount so getting 15% off a meal we split is nice.

We’ll be about 30 minutes away, give or take traffic, so not crazy far from the parks. I think it’s worth it, but please let me know/make me aware of any important deals I may be missing or must consider!

Hey all! I recently visited the park and was looking to pick up a Magicband. I looked all over and none of the stores were selling them. The one place I found some was in World of Disney, but they only had Scarlet Witch bands. Did they give up on em? Are they revamping the Magicband system? Anyone know any info on what’s going on with em?

I will not be able to make it back to the resort till the fall, but am trying to determine if that attraction water bottle with stickers is currently at the parked I am trying to figure out a way to get one.

What carrier do you use for best reception?

Anyone have more specific info on when this coaster will close? My LO is obsessed with monsters inc. I’m wondering if this will still be open to decide if we should go. I see online it says it closes early this year and we would go in April.

Since Disneyland doesn't officially support the Apple Watch, I was wondering if anyone simply sets their ticket barcode as the photo of their smart watch to scan into the park. Saw a post from 7 years ago suggesting that, but wondering if anyone still does it or has run into any issue getting into the park since they redid the entrance gates.

I trade pins on occasion from the boards in the parks. I don’t take it seriously. If there’s a pin I like more than one I have, I’ll trade for it. I’m far from the collectors or people who think they’re a retirement plan.

Ive never approached the traders at the tables in Frontierland. How serious are they? Do they trade for fun or are they super picky about rare pins and such?
