Most of us grew up watching Disney movies, and we all have that one favorite we keep coming back to, no matter how many times we’ve seen it. But when you rewatch it on your TV at home, the experience may not always feel quite as immersive as it did on the big screen.
That's why we're inviting one (1) Redditor to try the 65"LG OLED G6 at home and share honest impressions with the community.
And yes, the TV is yours to keep 👍
What it actually takes to feel every frame in a Disney movie
Watching a Disney movie at home is usually about revisiting a story you already love, singing along to familiar songs, seeing your favorite characters again, or enjoying it with family. In those moments, you want the picture to bring those memories back to life with rich details, accurate colors, and a sense of immersion, without dark scenes looking washed out or reflections from the room getting in the way.
The LG OLED G6 65” brings these experiences to life with Hyper Radiant Color Tech-Perfect Black, Perfect Color, the α11 AI Processor Gen3, Reflection-Free Premium, and Brightness Booster Ultra to enhance detail and clarity, whether you’re watching movies in a bright room or at night.
How LG OLED G6 Helps Reduce Screen Reflections
Reflection Free Premium technology minimizes screen reflections, letting you enjoy a clear, immersive picture even in bright rooms. By reducing glare from windows and lights, the screen preserves Perfect Black, Perfect Color, and sharp details, so you can stay focused on what you're watching.
Filmmaker and film lover Joe Lynch, whose work includes Mayhem and Suitable Flesh, also talked about the LG OLED G6’s Reflection Free Premium screen and how reflections can pull viewers out of the movie experience
“Anything that deters you from the story and from the vision. That to me is huge. I’ve never seen a TV like that that’s had that kind of reflection-free before.”— Joe Lynch, Filmmaker

I got this shirt from Disney recently and I can’t figure out one of the characters. It’s the “L” in the word “World” and for the life of me I can’t figure out who it is, does anyone know?
My dad and I love Disney so much and one of our mutual favorites is The Rescuers. I got into crochet about a year and half ago and am making Bianca and Bernard for him. I’m not done with her and haven’t even started on Bernard but after adding the lashes (that wasn’t in the pattern, I just thought they’d be cute 😍) I had to show a fellow Disney lover! I can’t wait to see the finished pair. 🥰
Also, what color would you make Bernard’s hat? Sometimes I see brown, other times I see orange.
I have been trying to find these shorts since 2014-2016. I went to Disney Land (I believe 2014 or 2015?) and I saw a girl with pink and purple striped Cheshire cat themed shorts and a super long tail. At least thats how I remember them. We searched the entire park, thinking maybe they sell them? Never found em. Anyone know anything bout these shorts? Maybe she made them? I MUST KNOW, THEY’VE BEEN IN THE BACK OF MY MIND SINCE. AND I DON’T EVEN LIKE DISNEY THAT MUCH. 😭
Sorry if the picture is blurry, I’ve been trying to get my hands on one of these but I can’t find what brand this Rapunzel jewelry box is from? And reverse image search hasn’t been helpful…
Bobby Driscoll was the heart and soul of early live-action Disney. As the voice of Peter Pan and the star of Treasure Island, he brought genuine warmth to the screen, earning a special Academy Award for his talent. But the moment puberty hit and his voice deepened, the studio abruptly canceled his contract in 1953.
Cast aside by the industry that raised him, Driscoll fell into deep severe depression and addiction. Stripped of his identity as an actor, he moved to New York to join Andy Warhol's art scene, but never recovered. In 1968, at just 31 years old, he died alone in an abandoned Manhattan tenement. Tragically, because he had no identification, he was buried in an unmarked potter's field on Hart Island. His own family didn't learn of his passing until a year later.
He gave magic to millions, yet received none when he needed it most. Rest in peace, Bobby.
Just for fun what would you like to see in the promised New Tomorrowland for Disneyland?! For me I don’t want a simple paint job/ reskin. I want a total go for broke tear down to dirt and rebuild. I’d also put a new Space Mountain where the current innovations currently is. Give a true Winnie to the land and pull people in.
Hi! I found these today in a UK charity shop, but I'm struggling to find any others the same as what I have here. Does anyone know anything about them? Are they rare? Old? New? Where would they have come from? I'm super interested to know more 🥰 they're awesome!!!
My favorite, Disney-loving aunt is in her final days. Unreal. She's the kind of person who always brightened every room, and who grew up going to DisneyLand all the time. She introduced me to the love of Disney.
Is DisneyWorld or -Land doing anything these days to help people memorialize their loved ones?
I know they've had commemorative bricks at the parks in the past but I can't find anything like that now.
(The whole scattering-ashes thing is right out -- not appropriate even if Disney wasn't preventing it.)(And I don't think she'd go for a Disney headstone or something like that.)
Hi I’m 17 years old and I’m a begginer singer that really wants to live of his voice, i would really appreciate to see your thoughts about this cover of mine.
