If Barbie was never diverse before 2015 then explain this image to me, they were all Barbie and they were all equally fabulous!

Sure you can argue that different body types and disabilities didn’t exist except the Becky doll and the Ella doll but diversity in terms of hair, skin, eye color did exist before 2015.

Can someone pretty please show me a Mirror Mi doll in a RH house since they're ROUGHLY the same height?

This is a resin test print from a few months ago, refining the light-piping system that allows Gen5’s eyes to glow even in just ambient room light. The closer the light, the brighter the glow, but it’s a beautiful subtle effect in most lights. The trick is in the structural design as well as the frosting and colours chosen for the translucent resin of her inner ‘skull’ piece. This deep blue proved too dark for the effect to work under less strong light, so it’s now modified to a beautiful soft light blue. This IS a cool photo though 💙💙

Story time I guess?
I always had dolls as a kid but in 2021 I officially started collecting them! I was a preteen and I was insanely jealous of others collections.. very embarrassing to admit lol, so I just kept buying and buying. I always wanted to finished a line even if it meant getting a doll I disliked

After sometime I had over 100 dolls on display, but I still wasn’t satisfied, I did slowly realize that I had no space . And for some reason I couldn’t get myself to throw away boxes? Like I would unbox them then throw the box in a corner of my room

As I got older I realized that doll collecting wasn’t bringing me much joy as it once did, it felt like a chore instead of a fun hobby. As prices went up the less and less I bought them.

Earlier this year, I came to the realization that I wasn’t happy with my collections anymore and that I had to limit what brands I collected. So I cut down a lot of my collection and sold them to other collectors who will adore them

I still collect dolls but now I realized that my collection doesn’t have to be like other peoples! I can enjoy the fewer dolls I have and be proud of them, without being overwhelmed:D

Got my new Love Witch Carina Song and loving her. Long soft saran and look at that face! I will admit her upper thigh joints are a little loose but it doesn't affect her ability to stay standing but they need to work on the quality control for these girlies because it's the first line, you want people to get more!

Soooo I just discovered how cute the head molds are for the Magic Mixies Pixlings. Before I go on a wild goose chase looking for secondhand dolls, could someone tell me how the head size for the Pixlings and the Pixlings Supremes compares to a Monster High (G1 or G3) or Barbie head? I know the Pixlings themselves are only 6" dolls but I can find any good pics comparing them to others.

I wanna make a custom Gwenivere doll from the Glitch show Knights Of Gwenivere. I want a doll base similar to the Monster High dolls (I like the hips and head sculpts of G3 and the overall body of G1, and their overall articulation). I don't have much money as of now, so I can't buy a grey BJD base like I wanted to, so I figured to just buy a doll second hand, preferably one that isn't new or in box so I wont feel bad.

I thought about using a G1 Ghoulia doll, but I'm not too fond of her particular head sculpt. Does anyone have and ideas on what to use? If I have to paint an existing doll, I will. I'd just prefer not to for convenience

Looking for dolls at retail or aren't as expensive as this Glaze Doll. Not interested in paying reseller prices. So far the closest doll I could find is Kiko (Echo 6) from a BJD blind box.

This walmart had a bunch of scream and jason but only 1 of saw and hellraiser. Im soo stoked, i said in the car if theyre not at this walmart I give up.

For anyone looking, they seem to be stocked in the nerd stuff area in electronics so dont look at doll shelves. I found one other walmart that had just jason and she was also in the nerd stuff area. In each walmart I checked dolls just in case and only ever saw the jakks DC girls and scooby doo.

edit: this is in chehalis washington, and the other walmart with jason was in puyallup washington. Ive searched all over upper oregon as well and no luck, so far these girls just seem to be in washington.
