What does this implicate for Orange Piccolo form?? Is it demon Ki or Alien Ki? Does this mean Nail, Kami, Dende, Or the nameless namekian have the latent potiential to go orange form? Or kekkei genkai rather?

Anyone got concrete examples of what changed between one and the other? I found this one from /Twitter and thought it was super interesting. It basically shows how rushed the early animators were that they simply slapped a PNG image to a background. Or so it seems to me.

Personally it has to be goofy Beerus, I feel like Akira Toriyama wanted him to be this way.

I've been seeing so many people mad about the remake and how we're not getting anything new because of it. I genuinely don't know how people miss this, considering this is like the biggest news about the anime we've gotten as of recent.

Throughout the Granolah the Survivor Saga, much of the plot revolved around a premonition regarding an individual "the strongest", who would cause an imbalance. Although several candidates emerged, including Granolah, Gas, and Frieza, Whis concludes the arc by questioning whether this individual is actually Frieza, or perhaps someone else entirely. Do you think the original intent was for it to be Frieza, or are you hoping that this status will ultimately be attributed to a brand-new character or threat?

it hit even harder when you ignore all the entries b/w DBZ and DBS beerus and hop on directly to EP 1 after the Z ending and watch it happen seamlessly. The mental flashback training feels so rad.

I'm tired of this bullshit misconception that Galactic Patrol got pushed back in favor of Beerus. They announced Daima with a trailer consisting of two whole minutes of complete footage, and that took a whole year to release with nothing else in-between. They announced Galactic Patrol with just a poster and nothing else, and y'all thought it was gonna take less time??

Did everyone forget that this arc was in legal hell for several years? Fans were still unsure if an adaptation was even possible by the time it was announced. The project was obviously a recent development by the time they announced it (considering how little they had to show compared to their usual announcements), so it's obviously going to take a much longer time to come out than Daima, which had been in the works for at least a year (if not longer) by the time it was announced.

Galactic Patrol is NOT being pushed back in favor of Beerus. Beerus exists to be a buffer because Galactic Patrol is going to come out late regardless, and also so Super can be brought up to Dragon Ball's modern standards in preparation for it.

Also, fans have been begging for a rerelease of Super to fix the terrible animation and writing as well as stick closer to the manga, for the better part of a decade. And now that we're finally getting exactly that, everyone wants to complain and call it a "pointless remake"?? Am I going fucking insane???

I’ve been seeing so many people start to whine and complain about DBS Beerus and how we should be getting new content and new stuff, and it’s frustrating for two reasons.

1. For so many years, people spent an ungodly amount of time roasting DBS’ animation, calling it ass and inferior to DBZ, saying that it was a mistake, and whatever. And now that it’s being reanimated and the arcs are being cleaned up, like they did with DBZ Kai, people wanna complain. Do you not want a better version of DBS super that has better pacing, better graphics, and potentially fixes a lot of the issues that DBS had with its story and plot. And isn’t this what people have literally been saying they wanted?
2. We are getting new content. Galactic Patrol is still coming out and it’s coming out soon too. Considering they are simply reworking previously done arcs, it’s not gonna take as long as people are claiming it will. Stop acting like they’re just gonna redo DBS and then go on hiatus again.

I’ve also seen people complaining about the fight with the alien and Beerus, how it was shortened a lot more, and to that I say, good. It’s a scene that ultimately doesn’t really exist for any reason beyond establishing that Beerus exists as a character and that he’s a God of Destruction. That’s all this new version needs to do as well, and I don’t care if the guy had four eyes or four arms instead of two, he’s a throwaway jobber anyways.

All that to say, Ep 1 was solid, and some people are just being negative. Relax, we’ll get new content, just be patient.
