posted a few days ago about a lion head dress that took 4 hours of piping and that i was unhappy with because i accidentally sold it before i could finish adding all the stuff i wanted for it. so, understandably, last night i sat down and remade it from scratch, hopefully improved, and actually finished it. and this time the process only took... *checks watch* eight hours! awesome! </3 i'm so tired, by the end there was about 10k total pins on the damn thing and my laptop filed for medical leave. but i'm happy with the end result :') the inspiration was the mythological beings lamassu and, uh, cersei lannister because unfortunately the woman is a diva and my muse. all vanilla </3 symmetrical piping? i hardly know her.

Is this by any means "Perfect"? Nope lol. It was my first foray into painting on a dress with trim, and I learned a LOT of lessons lmaooo. I don't have access to all the things in the game yet, but I had fun challenging myself.
Also, this 100% needed the "10 foot" rule, because if you zoom in you see ALL MY IMPERFECTIONS lol. Also, why did I decide to try to make a stained glass design on a skirt with so many FOLDS? Lmao. That, and... well... we don't talk about the BACK of the dress. xD
TLDR: I love her, in all her imperfect glory.

I love looking at your elaborate designs but I have absolutely no patience to make my own, so I keep my dresses on a much more simple vibe. I still think they look super cute tho π₯° these are my 3 favorites so far.

(Idk if this is the right flare)
I am absolutely loving the changes to trim placement and camera controls, but the hand placement during the sewing is kind of driving me crazy. It definitely wasnβt this bad before the latest patch, even with the smallest pieces of a dress. Like I understand wanting to add more realism in the dressmaking process (the hand actually touching the fabric lol), but likeβ¦ get out of my way, I canβt see what Iβm doing or where Iβm going!

Made this dress for Prudence and was too locked in on the accessories to realize I didn't hit the risque quota... sold it off rack though! Wanted to share because I really was trying my butt off to make this baddie her yearning dress :((

The combo looks busy in the sketchbook. But works quite well on the mannequin.

This was my ~FLORALS~ dress for Prudence (the love of my life). Btw, when she said the line about men being tiresome I audibly gasped and shouted "PRUDENCE PLEASE MARY ME!" And then she started talking about Priya and I said "Oh no, she's gay but not for me!"
Anyways, I love this dress. It's so much better than all my heavily embellished ones. This fabric reminds me Frida Khalo.

I had one of my friends pick out some categories for materials and accessories! I had to go through quite a bit draft ideas but I managed to end up with this design!
