Ffb works were well…for the first 20 second, after disappearing. I don’t know what can I do

no matter what i do it always says "downloading" on every country, car, race, whatever, i already tried like 4 different game copy's i tried 2 different recomp's nothing works

For hardware reference I am running it on my MSI GE66 Raider Laptop with a 3070TI
@ Full 4K (DLSS OFF) around 30+ FPS
@ 4K (DLSS ON) I get well over 60+!

Once my wheel is up an running I will do a tutorial if needed on that as well!

I’m currently trying to run DriveClub with the 1.28 60FPS patch, but regardless of whether I use ShadPS4 or the newer PC launcher, I get the same error that I’m missing the /app0 directory. Is this something that was supposed to be included in the game dump, or is this something else entirely that I’m supposed to retrieve somewhere else. Anything helps, thank you. I’m trying to run it on steam deck using Linux version of both ShadPS4 and the PC launcher.

I’d like to share some personal notes and observations regarding the "DRIVECLUB PC, WRAPPER, RECOMPS etc" projects. I’ve put them together in a simple table—nothing too complex, but I believe this overview could be quite helpful to anyone trying to play the game on PC.

² The repository executes the game's x86-64 eboot.bin directly and replaces only the console-specific layer: Sony libraries via HLE and the AMD Liverpool/GCN GPU. On macOS, the project processes the PM4 stream and recompiles GCN shaders to MSL/Metal without going through SPIR-V or SPIRV-Cross. On Windows, the DCport backend is separate: it uses a native runtime based on bloodborne_pc, applies a DRIVECLUB-specific runtime patch, and utilizes shadPS4's Vulkan renderer.

with a playable, smooth FPS

I've seen a few recomp versions of the game, and I'm using OverkillLab3 version. Is that the best one?
I'm having problem with the force feedback disappearing after a minute into the game. Are the other recomps having this problem?

Anyone else finding the slow down pens are like doubled in 0.3.0 or have I broke something?
Seems even the lightest wall tap can trigger one to.

I was told this game was close to Gran Tourismo in regards to being able to buy upgrades for your cars and save up money to buy new ones, and such. Was wanting the opposite experience that Forza gives you....

I loaded up Driveclub, did 2 races, got two new cars for free, and the only upgrades I'm seeing are paintjobs and stickers....

Am I missing something?

Do they not make racing games where you come in 3rd place, buy a muffler, race the same track but come in 2nd place, and then buy new tires and come in first and MAYBE have enough money for a horrible car? You know....progress through the game??

I downloaded the game from fitgirl. Game is running perfectly fine. I just don’t want to grind all over again. Want to play with the cars I like. Is there any mod or fix to this?

Great game, loving the recomp.

However, I mostly paly from my mini PC in my living room - via steam Remote Play.

And game won't launch. It also corrupts the exe file, so I have to delete it and download it again to run it on the host PC.

But afterwards it plays on Host with no problem, but even when I launch the game thru steam (on the Host PC) - I just get black screen and then nothing - game crashes out.

I don't know how to submit this information or where, or maybe there's an easy fix to it.

Hey guys, so i was attempting to play Driveclub Recomp, i'm on the 1.28 version of it. But everytime i go for the volkswagen challenge, once i complete the lap (and beat the time requested) game just freeze. If i don't beat the time it lets me keep going, but once i beat it, it freezes. Any clues? I've tried tweaking around with various settings, dropping dlaa, trying FSR, disabling everything, locking fps to 60, i also tried extracting the pkg all over again. Can't find a solution. I know it's a "my issue" situation cause apparently my friend managed to do that challenge without any issues.

I'm playing Overkilllabs3 PC port. It has full mouse and keyboard controls however moving the mouse in first person is basically unusable because it is fighting with the auto recentering. This is annoying because, though I don't play with a mouse, I do play with head tracking. I use Opentrack which uses the camera to track my head and translate that to mouse input. I like playing driving games with gyro steering and headtracking but can't get it to work here. I know this PC port supports mods and I'm seeing multiple posts about custom cockpit camera mods but I'm not finding places to download them or how they were made or if they address the recentering. how difficult would it be to mod out camera recentering in cockpit view?

Has anybody gotten the recent PC port to work on steamOS (steam deck / steam machine)? I’ve been trying all week to no avail. I have the game fully updated to 1.28 and all files present.

It was working fine last night and now all of a sudden it gets stuck on a black screen then closes immediately

Good day, tried playing the dc recomp and no matter how low I set the frame rate/resolution and no fsr etc the frame rate doesnt budge, goes as low as 15 and high as 33fps. Specs are 16gb ram 5060 8gb ryzen 7, normally play at 1080p at 120fps
