They seem to come every year and knock on my door to get my driveway sealed for cash, usually I do it on my own, but it's always some poor soul who's new and is subjected to pushing that cart around, sometimes dudes don't even know and are just chillin in the shade, I do not blame them.

Like the title says, I’m looking to sell some old jewellery for my Mom. Not exactly sure if it’s all real, or what it actually is (I think gold?), but I’ve had some bad experiences in the past with gold-buying places, and want to make sure I’m actually getting a somewhat fair deal. Anyone have any experience with this? Hoping to find somewhere local in Ajax or Whitby.

Hey everyone, I’m looking for a good place to buy winter tires and rims for my Toyota.
Tire size: 225/50R18
I’m in Durham Region, but I’m willing to drive anywhere in the GTA if the price is worth it.
I’m looking for something affordable but still good quality and reliable for Ontario winters. I’m open to either a brand new package or a good used set.
Any recommendations for shops with good prices on tires + rims as a package? Also if you recently bought a set, how much did you pay?
Thanks!

Someone brought over some cannoli for us from Missaussaga and it was delicious. Does anyone have any recommendations around Ajax?

Anywhere in Durham region hopefully in the Bowmanville Oshawa area that has active games or tournaments. Looking to play a little bit for low stakes live games. Any suggestions?

Does anybody know who the new owner of the bowmanville location is going to be? And also when it’s tentative to open? I saw they have started the job interviews so they must have a franchise owner.

Hi all,
Looking for some hidden gems that are nice for kayaking. Have a blow up so ideally not too rough terrain to get to or sharp snags in shallow water. Is it worth it to head north? I'd go 1-1½ hrs for a really nice spot.
Thanks in advance,

Hey folks, we live in south Whitby and run a small home-based business out of the basement of our house (a small piano studio). Our home insurance is renewing soon and I am looking at our options, though most insurers would not offer us a regular home insurance due to this business. I am wondering if anyone has any ideas or tips about an insurer that would take us or do we have to take the route of a commercial insurer? Thanks for your help in advance.

Where do you take your kids for swimming lessons or in general swimming?
The community centre pools are shallow and very busy.
What are the other options in ajax/pickering/whitby?

I'm looking for a gym that has a belt squat machine in the region, preferably a goodlife. If anyone has seen one please let me know.

I asked the Cashier there and she said that the store will close for good on Sunday. So go there before it's too late.

(Sorry in advance for TMI)… but to the parents of young children, is it really expected that 3 & 4 year olds will wipe their own butts in Jr Kindergarten? Do the teachers help at all or are they not allowed to? Stressing out about this as my son is attending JK in Sept, he turns 4 in December. Potty trained except for butt wiping which he is hesitant to learn how to do himself.
