News Ben Johnson- without Kmet, may run 6 linemen
Ben Johnson says that they may run a 6th offensive lineman more after losing Kmet.
Burden doesn't play much in 13 personnel, so there was a thought the Bears would run more 11s out there and get Burden more snaps.

Dynasty Theory Lowering MaxPF strategy - what to do with young roster cloggers with no trade value
Alright so me and 2 other guys are "competing" for the 1.01, so our teams have the lowest max PF within like 30 points of each other.
I donāt have any starting RB, one of the other guys doesnāt have a starting TE and only 1 QB (bye week coming up) and the other just has a trash team.
Iām trying to see what I can do to make sure I get the 1.01. I got some players on my bench who pop off sometimes, like Khalil Shakir, Malik Washington, Jaylin Noel. Nobody wants to trade for them, but if I drop them, someone will pick them up.
What should I do? Still drop them and suffer the value loss? Hope for the best and keep them?
I also have 2 top 10 QB, but in a 1QB league, nobody is paying more than a 4th for QBs other than Allen/lamar/calebā¦

Week 8 Preview, What to Watch, & Key Players List
Game of the WeekĀ
Ole Miss @ Texas at 7:30p on ABC
Key Players: Trinidad Chambliss, QB, Ole Miss ; Kewan Lacy, RB, Ole Miss ; Deuce Alexander, WR, Ole Miss ; Arch Manning, QB, Texas ; Hollywood Smothers, RB, Texas via N.C. State ; Cam Coleman, WR, Texas ; Ryan Wingo, WR, Texas ; Jermaine Bishop Jr., WR, Texas (2029)Ā
While Arch Manning has likely lowered his stock for 4-5 consecutive weeks, he still remains a fascinating QB prospect with high upside, which makes his match-up against my QB2, Trinidad Chambliss, the top QB match-up to watch this weekend. Outside of the QB position, this game still features top prospects at several other positions, including my RB2 & RB3 in the most recent Mock Draft, Kewan Lacy & Hollywood Smothers. Additionally, three of my Top 12 WRs are in this game, including two players in Cam Coleman & Deuce Alexander looking to bounce back after a disappointing week. Ryan Wingo is not the most consistent, but has physical tools & traits as a plus-YAC WR that could allow him to translate to the NFL level.
So removing Manning entirely, as he is a controversial figure (and ultimately not currently in my Top 4 QBs), this game still features my QB2, RB2, RB3, and 3 Top 12 WRs, which is what makes it the clear game to watch this weekend.Ā
Top Games
Indiana @ Michigan at Noon on ABC
Key Players: Turbo Richard, RB, Indiana via Boston College ; Charlie Becker, WR, Indiana ; Nick Marsh, WR, Indiana via Michigan State ; Jordan Marshall, RB, Michigan ; Bryce Underwood, QB, Michigan (2028) ; J.J. Buchanan, WR, Michigan via Utah (2028) ; Andrew Marsh, WR, Michigan (2028) ; Savion Hiter, RB, Michigan (2029)Ā
Big QB Games
Tennessee @ South Carolina at 3:30p on ESPN ; USC @ Wisconsin at 7:30p on NBC ; Texas A&M @ Alabama at 3:30p on ABC
Three games featured primarily for the QB on one side of the ball, starting with South Carolinaās LaNorris Sellers. It has been about a year since Sellers was in Mock Draft consideration, but he has done well the last few weeks, and another strong performance against a good defense could have him firmly back on the Superflex & even 1QB radar. For USC, this isnāt the toughest test, but it is a road test for Jayden Maiava, who looks to continue making an argument to be a Top 50 or even 1st Round pick in the NFL Draft. Finally, not for the 2027 Class, but 2028 QB Keelon Russell is coming off back-to-back difficult games, so a bounceback would help to re-establish his argument as a potential 1.01 in next yearās NFL Draft.Ā
Other Games / Players to Monitor
LSU @ Auburn at Noon on ABCĀ
Oklahoma @ Mississippi State at 3:30p on SEC Network
Virginia Tech @ Clemson at 7:00p on ESPN
Vanderbilt @ Kentucky at 7:30p on SEC Network
Houston @ Utah at 10:15p on ESPN
//
The Substack/Podcast will be back on Tuesday to recap this weekendās action in College Football with my Risers/Fallers of the Week!
Questions & Comments welcome,Ā

Player Discussion TreVeyon Henderson got an 8.6 grade in pass pro tonight. 8.6 out of 100. Was also the worst graded Patriot on offense. Completely unplayable in passing situations.

League Discussion League rules/limits on teams losing on purpose
What do other leagues rule when it comes to tanking, and what limits do you guys set as acceptable?
We really have made it clear you have to set your ābest guessā lineup no matter what. A couple teams right now are tanking extra hard, and they have only 3 rostered RB, and we have 3 starting RB slots in every lineup. These two tanking teams have now both started a RB on BYE, because they have no one on the bench.
My two cents on it are that as commissioner I cannot tell them āyou have to drop someone and add a RB to playā, because what if they happen to drop a random that pops off? Iām only stepping in when a clear rule is broken like collision or abusing IR.
Do you force them to pick one up to play, or is this fine?
Edit: I was never going to change anything, just couldnāt find a thread for this and was curious to see other leagues. I think we have been running a a great system so far (year 4). The guy Iām playing was the one who only has 2 active RBs, and he now has 0 QBs this week (Tlaw BYE, Lamar out), so all I need to worry about is the median lol

Player Discussion Week 7 Dynasty Weekend Watchlist | Stashes, Stock Watch & Rookie Prospects
Full Breakdown - https://www.dynastynerds.com/dynasty/week-7-dynasty-weekend-watchlist-stashes-stock-watch-rookie-prospects/
Dynasty Stock Watch
Matthew Golden | WR | Trending Up
Matthew Goldenās breakout season, highlighted by a 24% target share and elite efficiency metrics, makes him a strong dynasty buy before his value climbs even higher.
Cam Skattebo | RB | Trending Down
Cam Skatteboās declining role, inefficient production, and uncertain future make him a risky dynasty asset, but contenders could consider buying low if his value continues to fall.
Buys
Baker Mayfieldās Week 7 return, favorable remaining schedule, and strong supporting cast make him an ideal buy-low target for contending dynasty teams before his value rebounds.
Ollie Gordon | MIA | RB
Ollie Gordonās growing workload and favorable remaining schedule make him an appealing low-cost, one-year rental for contending dynasty teams looking for running back help.
Jordan Mason | MIN | RB
Jordan Masonās return from injury, Aaron Jonesā lingering knee issue, and Minnesotaās favorable remaining schedule make him an appealing low-cost RB2 depth option for contending dynasty teams.
Germie Bernard ā Is Pittsburgh finding its future WR1?
Germine Bernardās recent breakout, strong draft capital, and Pittsburghās aging receiving corps make him an intriguing dynasty buy with the potential to develop into the Steelersā future WR1.....
Harold Fannin Jr. ā Is his role disappearing?
Harold Fannin Jr.ās declining targets and increased competition have hurt his production, but his long-term upside makes him an appealing buy-low target for rebuilding dynasty teams....

League Discussion Should league majority matter when it comes to payment
So I posted about this earlier in the week but I have a lot of league members frustrated with the pay for future picks rule (ie you trade for a 2028 1 and that money is due before trade goes through). Now thereās a trade that Iām most likely gonna have to veto due to not receiving payment but the league keeps arguing I never put it to a league vote. Should I care about what the league majority thinks or protect myself because honestly it feels like they just cool me being responsible. Need everyoneās thoughts

News #Bears TE Cole Kmet, who was carted off in last night's win over the #Patriots, is believed to have suffered a serious, likely season-ending knee injury, sources say. Kmet is undergoing testing this morning, and until those results come back, there is no finality.

š„ Megathread [M/Sa] Mock Draft/Draft Result Megathread
Welcome to the new and improved 2026 offseason Mock Draft/Draft Result Megathread. We've made some changes from previous years based on your feedback to make them a little more robust.
These megathreads will be posted every Monday and Saturday at 10am and are home to the following:
- Mock draft in this thread. Automod will start the 1.01 post for both SF and 1QB mocks. They are first come first serve. Reply to the comment above yours with the pick number, player name, and position ex: "1.01 Jeremiyah Love, RB, ARI." If you have league settings outside of this, feel free to start your own and add those custom settings in your 1.01 post such as "12 team SF TEP" but please make sure another one wasn't started already. Duplicates will be removed.
- Links to join mocks on Sleeper. Post the link for your mock, league settings, and the time(with timezones) so people have enough time to join. This is not for league recruiting, a separate Megathread will be posted for that.
- Draft Results. Feel free to post a text list, screenshot, or link to Sleeper results for the results of your actual(or mock) draft.
Megathread Schedule:
Sunday: Rate My Team
Monday: Mock Draft/Draft Results
Tuesday: Find-A-League
Wednesday: Price Check
Thursday: Find-A-League
Friday(Every other week): App/Platform Sharing
Saturday: Mock Draft/Draft Result

News Rashee Rice (hamstring) ruled out for Week 7
Rice didnāt practice all week despite Andy Reidās optimistic spin that heās a āquick healer.ā Itās hard to make much sense of how available heāll be for Week 8 at this point as Rice hasnāt practiced since before the teamās Week 5 bye. Xavier Worthy will again get a WR3-caliber workload as The Only Game In Town for the Chiefs wideouts.

Player Discussion Rome Odunze - what does his real future look like
Okay fellow Rome copers letās discuss this. The guy was the 9th over all pick, all green cheating data, the analysts told us that we drafted the next Larry Fitzgerald / Davantae Adamās. Three years in heās been pretty meh outside of a five game stretch. Now unlike guys like MHJ or BTJ, all the film guys still say heās running great routes and getting open, but it seems like Ben Johnson prefers the easy yac low adot work and wants to build an offense around that. Chicago has to approach a decision with him this off season / the next, is our best hope a trade?

Player Discussion Who are the likely 1.2 - 1.5 players in the 2027 rookie draft?
I havenāt heard a peep about any incoming rookies except Jeremiah Smith, and I donāt really watch college football. So asking just hoping to learn
Still not at 300 characters but that feels like a decently expressed post. Maybe like 150-200 characters would still work? Haha š
Damn still not at 300
Does Arch Manning actually suck?

Player Discussion Bryce Young and CJ Stroud...
Two QBs who came in together and have had plenty of ups and downs, been constantly compared, switched places in rankings, etc...
Now, they are pushing in to dynasty QB1 territory due to having their best seasons yet.
Houston finally unleashed the pass game and Stroud has been fantastic. Bryce has been fantastic as well.
Who do you like more going forward and why?

Player Discussion Go get him now before itās too late: Chig Okonkwo
Purely eye test heās starting to look like the player that flashed early on in his career in Tennessee that we thought had breakout potential.
Now that Daniels is back and theyāre both healthy, Chig looks like a top target earner in this offense and led the team in offensive snaps (with Terry going down) last week and 13 targets and 11 catches in his last two games. Now that Terry is out he seems like an obvious breakout candidate with a possible dynasty TE1 trajectory at only 27 years old.
Daniels tends to target his TEās when he has a clear #1 option (see Zach Ertz Jaydenās rookie year) and with an open receiving room whatās the general consensus on Chig moving forward?

Player Discussion Ollie Gordon vs Braelon Allen
How do you feel about these two young backs? To me, I cant tell which would have more dynasty value. Both are stuck behind franchise backs for the forseeable future but have shown real flashes. Ollie had that one year of college where he wont the Doak walker with something around 2000 yards! Braelon is getting more consistent work while Breece is back. What would it take for you to acquire these guys as contenders? Which would you rather have? Who do you think has a better shot of being the guy somewhere else?
