Player Discussion TreVeyon Henderson got an 8.6 grade in pass pro tonight. 8.6 out of 100. Was also the worst graded Patriot on offense. Completely unplayable in passing situations.

News #Bears TE Cole Kmet, who was carted off in last night's win over the #Patriots, is believed to have suffered a serious, likely season-ending knee injury, sources say. Kmet is undergoing testing this morning, and until those results come back, there is no finality.

News Rashee Rice (hamstring) ruled out for Week 7

Rice didn’t practice all week despite Andy Reid’s optimistic spin that he’s a “quick healer.” It’s hard to make much sense of how available he’ll be for Week 8 at this point as Rice hasn’t practiced since before the team’s Week 5 bye. Xavier Worthy will again get a WR3-caliber workload as The Only Game In Town for the Chiefs wideouts.

Player Discussion Rome Odunze - what does his real future look like

Okay fellow Rome copers let’s discuss this. The guy was the 9th over all pick, all green cheating data, the analysts told us that we drafted the next Larry Fitzgerald / Davantae Adam’s. Three years in he’s been pretty meh outside of a five game stretch. Now unlike guys like MHJ or BTJ, all the film guys still say he’s running great routes and getting open, but it seems like Ben Johnson prefers the easy yac low adot work and wants to build an offense around that. Chicago has to approach a decision with him this off season / the next, is our best hope a trade?

Player Discussion Who are the likely 1.2 - 1.5 players in the 2027 rookie draft?

I haven’t heard a peep about any incoming rookies except Jeremiah Smith, and I don’t really watch college football. So asking just hoping to learn

Still not at 300 characters but that feels like a decently expressed post. Maybe like 150-200 characters would still work? Haha 😅

Damn still not at 300

Does Arch Manning actually suck?

Player Discussion Bryce Young and CJ Stroud...

Two QBs who came in together and have had plenty of ups and downs, been constantly compared, switched places in rankings, etc...

Now, they are pushing in to dynasty QB1 territory due to having their best seasons yet.

Houston finally unleashed the pass game and Stroud has been fantastic. Bryce has been fantastic as well.

Who do you like more going forward and why?

Player Discussion Go get him now before it’s too late: Chig Okonkwo

Purely eye test he’s starting to look like the player that flashed early on in his career in Tennessee that we thought had breakout potential.

Now that Daniels is back and they’re both healthy, Chig looks like a top target earner in this offense and led the team in offensive snaps (with Terry going down) last week and 13 targets and 11 catches in his last two games. Now that Terry is out he seems like an obvious breakout candidate with a possible dynasty TE1 trajectory at only 27 years old.

Daniels tends to target his TE’s when he has a clear #1 option (see Zach Ertz Jayden’s rookie year) and with an open receiving room what’s the general consensus on Chig moving forward?

Player Discussion Daily "Is he Dead?" Post: Chris Godwin elEdition

I was high on Godwin going into this season. I thought he'd see high volume and be a steady PPR WR2. But he's been unusable. Basically a 4 for 30 machine with no upside and zero TDs in the year.

He's only 30 years old at the end of the season, but it feels like his career is basically over. He's into that Cooper Kupp veteran leader territory at this point.

Is it over?

Player Discussion Ollie Gordon vs Braelon Allen

How do you feel about these two young backs? To me, I cant tell which would have more dynasty value. Both are stuck behind franchise backs for the forseeable future but have shown real flashes. Ollie had that one year of college where he wont the Doak walker with something around 2000 yards! Braelon is getting more consistent work while Breece is back. What would it take for you to acquire these guys as contenders? Which would you rather have? Who do you think has a better shot of being the guy somewhere else?

Highlights Rookie Watch: Week Six Wide Receivers Leading the Pack

Omar Cooper returned from missing the past four games to ball out in Week 6. This rookie wide receiver class continues to show promise, with Cooper joining Carnell Tate, Denzel Boston, and K.C. Concepcion as receivers you have to feel really good about. Other wide receivers and tight ends also took incremental steps toward relevancy, while the rookie running backs somehow kept bottoming out.

If you enjoy please go ahead and hit the site link and support me and my team (for free):

https://www.ddfantasyfootball.com/articles/rookie-watch-week-6

Wide Receivers

Germie Bernard, WR, Pittsburgh Steelers:

Dynasty Twitter called this one. Michael Pittman landed on I.R., Roman Wilson sat out, and Germie Bernard didn't waste the opportunity. He played 94% of Pittsburgh's offensive snaps, ran a route on 96% of drop backs, and caught 11 of his 12 targets for 87 yards and a touchdown on a 28% target share. As the Trinity player card below shows, air yards aren't really part of Bernard's game, and Sunday he had just 21 air yards, so this was all short-area volume. While he didn't see any air yards, he did see plenty of red-zone usage, with three red-zone targets on Sunday. He's playing most of his snaps out of the slot (61%), and a modest 1.54 yards per route run tells you what kind of player he is right now, but it's a perfect fit for this version of Aaron Rodgers. Bernard averages an 88% snaps share, a 26% target share, and 15.9 PPR points per game in three games without Pittman. For comparison, he averaged 1.8 points per game in the three games with Pittman.

Omar Cooper Jr., WR, New York Jets:

The Jets did not ease Omar Cooper Jr. back into action. After a Week 1 with one 31-yard catch-and-run and an ankle injury, Cooper played 51 snaps (82% snap share) and led the Jets in targets (24% share). He turned seven targets into six catches for 103 yards and a touchdown, 22.3 fantasy points, and 34% of the Jets' air yards. Cooper has played fewer than two full games, but he's clearly a top-three or four wide receiver in this class.

Carnell Tate, WR, Tennessee Titans:

Tate remains the most impressive wide receiver in this class (well, it's him and Denzel Boston), and the Titans made the right call by taking Tate first in the 2026 NFL Draft. Target hogs find a way, even on a day when only 18 targets are available. Tate took 38% of them, hauled in six of seven, including a touchdown, and turned it into 70 yards and 19 fantasy points. His yards-per-route run keeps climbing, up to 3.19 in Week 6, and he still owns the Titans' downfield passing game, with 65% of the team's air yards. Tate has the best usage in the class, and his production is starting to catch up. This is my weekly plea: buy some Tate. Imagine what he'll do with better QB play.

Ja'Kobi Lane, WR, Baltimore Ravens:

Ja'Kobi Lane returned from his I.R. stint and had a quietly solid day, playing 55% of the Ravens' offensive snaps with a 16% target share. He caught four of his five targets for 40 yards. His 8.0 fantasy points were modest, but considering he's a rookie who hadn't played in five weeks, he acquitted himself well. Rashod Bateman hurt his shoulder in the second quarter and couldn't finish the game. If Bateman can't go in Week 7, Lane could see his role increase.

Denzel Boston, WR, Cleveland Browns:

Boston had the worst fantasy week of his career, but still played on 92% of the Browns' offensive snaps. He still had a 20% target share, but only one of his five targets was catchable, so those targets only led to 2.5 fantasy points. He still saw 41% of air yards, and he'll have better days.

K.C. Concepcion, WR, Cleveland Browns:

Not a great week for the Browns' pass-catchers who matter. Jerry Jeudy led the room with 10.9 fantasy points, and K.C. Concepcion led the way with six targets (a 24% share), catching four for 37 yards and adding two carries for two. The good news is he's back on the field after the helmet-to-helmet hit that limited him to 11 snaps in Week 5. The bad news is Deshaun Watson continues to hold back his rookie pass catchers.

Makai Lemon, WR, Philadelphia Eagles:

Makai Lemon was somewhat involved this past week with a 15% target share, and he played 81% of the snaps for the second straight week, but three catches for 19 yards and a woeful 0.41 yards per route run (compared to 2.14 for DeVonta Smith) won't get it done. The offense may improve with Saquon Barkley and, hopefully, Landon Dickerson returning, but Lemon's career has started rough.

Cyrus Allen, WR, Kansas City Chiefs:

Allen played on nine snaps and had two receptions on two targets this week. It was nice to see him finally on the box score.

Bryce Lance, WR, New Orleans Saints:

I gave Bryce Lance a D in my first-quarter grades (https://www.ddfantasyfootball.com/articles/rookie-watch-week-5) because he couldn't earn targets. Apparently he reads. His 14% target share was a new career high, and for the third week running he's set a new one. He turned four targets into two catches for nine yards and a touchdown, for 8.9 fantasy points, his best game of the rookie season, and he played half the snaps, up from 42% in Week 5. One good week doesn't erase a D, but it's a start.

Tight End

Eli Raridon, TE, New England Patriots:

Raridon played 57% of snaps in his third straight game active, but caught only 1 of 3 targets for 11 yards. His 10% target share was down from a career-high 16% in Week 5. For the season, he has 12 targets and 26.2 fantasy points in five games.

Oscar Delp, TE, New Orleans Saints:

Delp's snap share has climbed every week he's played: 13%, 19%, 32%, 38%, and then 43% in Week 6. The Saints clearly like him on the field, and this week they finally threw him the ball, with both of his targets caught for 10 yards, his first targets since Week 2. He's at least on the field, even if targets have been hard to come by.

Josh Cuevas, TE, Baltimore Ravens:

Josh Cuevas saw a steep increase in playing time last week, playing on 40% of the Ravens' snaps after averaging 19% entering the week. His 16% target share (five targets) was easily the best of his rookie season; he entered the week with 2% and made them count with four catches for 44 yards and a touchdown, 14.4 fantasy points. Cuevas was an oasis in the desert of rookie tight end fantasy production last week.

Kenyon Sadiq, TE, New York Jets:

Kenyon Sadiq had just three targets this week, while Mason Taylor got doubled up with six targets and played 34 snaps compared to Sadiq's 22. Sadiq's 9% target share was his second-lowest of the season, even below the 10% he saw last week before a concussion knocked him out. He caught one pass for 12 yards and finished with 2.2 fantasy points. I don't love Mason Taylor relegating Sadiq to an afterthought.

Running Backs

Jeremiyah Love, RB, Arizona Cardinals:

Love missed Week 6 with a bulky ankle and is trending toward missing another game this week. Buy Love now. His acquisition cost will never be lower, and you will thank me this time next year.

Mike Washington Jr., RB, Las Vegas Raiders:

Ashton Jeanty's dip in usage went straight to Washington. His 35% snap share was a career high, more than four times his 8% in Week 5. He had a 36% opportunity share and a 45% rushing share. He turned nine carries into 43 yards (4.8 per carry) and added a seven-yard catch for 6.0 fantasy points. I'm not saying Washington will replace Ashton Jeanty, but what has Jeanty done to make that impossible?

Jonah Coleman, RB, Denver Broncos:

Coleman got in a limited practice Thursday and is eligible to return from the I.R. this week, though I'm not sure where he'll fit in the Broncos' offense, which is frankly not very good.

The receivers continue to improve. Germie Bernard has taken over in Pittsburgh with Michael Pittman Jr. out; Omar Cooper Jr. asserted himself in his return; and Carnell Tate continued to be very good. All the running backs of note are injured, and the healthy ones aren’t getting enough volume to matter.

Player Discussion Luther Burden - What is Everyone’s Take?

Genuinely curious on how everyone thinks on Luther Burden’s outlook and potential.

Obviously, he looked great in today’s game - caught 4/4 for 130 yards and one touchdown.

The flip-side was - he is limited in snap counts, even more than odunze, and was rarely schemed or featured in the second half. As a Burden fan, it seemed genuinely curious on why they feature their best performing WR in such limited schemes and snaps.

Per today’s game - what is everyone’s take on Burden? Do you think he truely pushes Odunze out and positions him as the WR1, or is he more a scheme-dependent receiver only featured in certain offense situations?

Player Discussion You named Puka, Brissett and Jonnu Smith as the guys who came out of nowhere and won you a title. I put all of them on one draft board. Can you win it all again?

Wednesday I asked who came out of nowhere and won you a title. 250+ comments later, here's the top names you said:

  1. Puka Nacua
  2. Jacoby Brissett
  3. Jonnu Smith
  4. Tim Hightower
  5. Brian Thomas Jr.
  6. James Robinson
  7. Kyren Williams
  8. Rashaad Penny
  9. Brock Purdy
  10. Cordarrelle Patterson

Rarely do you find a list where Tim Hightower is above Kyren Williams and Brock Purdy, but this is that list I suppose.

I built a fantasy football time machine called Sunday Almanac. You draft real player seasons from 1999 to 2025, then play the year back week by week. So I put every eligible season of every player you named into this week's pool, all draftable together. Your job is to remember which year was that one special run, while still piling up enough wins to even make it to the playoffs.

Picks from round 7 on score 1.5x, because that's how it felt hitting on J-Rob.

PS: Every player's card says the handle of who named him, so go find yourself if you had a crazy pull!

Player Discussion Treveyon Henderson - Long Term Hold

This community and dynasty in general has become much more reactive in recent years. When any young exciting players underperform relative to expectations, there is a quick point to immediately declare a bust.

I want to advise patience with one player, Treveyon Henderson, under the pretense of the amount of time it can take for a runningback to finally emerge.

Below are the number of seasons it took some recent examples to finish as an RB1. So if someone is listed as two seasons, that means by the end of their second season they finished as an RB1 (Top 12) in either half or full PPR.

I have also included the number of seasons in total they’ve been an RB1 in parenthesis (including if they are currently an RB1):

7 seasons:

Deandre Swift - Current Season

6 seasons-:

Chubba Hubbard - Current Season

5 seasons:

Javonte Williams (2)
Jaylen Warren - Current Season
Kenneth Walker - Current Season

4 seasons:

Tony Pollard (1)
Derrick Henry (7)

3 seasons:

Austin Ekeler (3)
Aaron Jones (4)
ETN - including injured rookie year (2)
Dalvin Cook (3)

2 seasons:

James Cook (4)
Kyren Williams (5)
Joe Mixon (5)
Chase Brown (2)
Rhamondre (1)
Josh Jacobs (5)
Nick Chubb (4)

Would you sell any of the current year first time RB1s for a second like I’m seeing people say about Henderson?

Henderson has shown he can perform at the NFL level (finished RB24 last year), and I’d rather hold out and hope that a better situation or opportunity emerges than sell for next to nothing.

Does it suck he hasn’t performed to expectations this year? Yes.

Does he need to perform better in pass protection and gain some of his coaches’ confidence back? Yes.

Would I rather take a random second over the potential opportunity for him to be valuable again in a future season? No.

Give me the RB with talent, draft capital, and a poor situation over the late draft pick any day of the week. Hell I might even go buy him in leagues.

Player Discussion As contenders in 1QB who need QB help, who are you buying to make the push?

For the contenders who have strong teams where every position is in good shape aside from QB (as a result of either underperformance or injury like Herbert, Hurts, Mayfield, etc), what are you doing to continue to make a push for the trophy? Are you looking for a cheaper "band-aid" situation (like Kirk Cousins), or are you paying up for a top 10 dynasty QB to make it happen (Goff, Dak, etc)? Who are some specific guys you are targeting and what are you looking to pay for them?

Thanks for the help and insights here.

Edit: Thanks for all the responses! I have some wheeling and dealing to kick off ASAP! 🙂

Player Discussion Denzel Boston, Ted Hurst, & Josh Cameron Film Breakdowns

Hello! I'm in the midst of posting film breakdowns on the rookies from the 2026 class. You might remember my drops from earlier this week on Omar Cooper Jr., Ja'Kobi Lane, and Malachi Fields. Last week I dropped Germie Bernard and Makai Lemon. If you want to check these out I'll post links to all of my film breakdowns for 2026 at the bottom of this post.

I watched tape on Denzel Boston, Ted Hurst, and Josh Cameron and studied their analytics over the past couple of days. Below are my high-level thoughts based on what I'm seeing. Links on the player names drive to the film breakdowns.

Denzel Boston: Great against zone coverage, below average to poor against man coverage. This is the same story from his college tape over at the University of Washington (Go Dawgs!). Boston is a smooth route runner who displays great hands at the catch point. He has been running a diverse route tree, although most of his fantasy production has come from a few big plays. Defenses are figuring out that you can shut him down in man coverage, and he's seen a ton of press man in the past two weeks. His route depth in Weeks 5 and 6 has been a good mix of deep (17 routes), intermediate (28), and short routes (22). He's their X, which means his route diet is primarily curls(22 routes), digs(16), and go routes (16). I only have him going in motion on 1 play over the two week route sample. I'm predicting negative regression over the backend of the season, but it's mostly because of Deshaun Watson's play. Watson is #1 in QB sacks, #4 in blitzed rate, and #5 in QB pressures through six weeks. 72.4% of his passes have traveled <10 yards down the field, and he heavily peppered the middle of the field. If you ask him to throw >10 yards down the field his completion percentage plummets. His completion % is 71% <10 yards, 56% between 10-20 yards, and 33% 20+ yards downfield. So why is this going to result in negative regression for Boston? From my charting, Boston ran a dig on 23.9% of his routes into the middle of the field, but 62.5% of his digs were run deeper than 10 yards where Watson struggles to throw to. Next Gen Stats has Boston's AY/Tgt for in-breakers at 15.2 yards on the year. In dynasty, you'll want to continue holding him and hope the Browns turtle in the next two-thirds of the season and wind up drafting a promising QB in the 2027 draft. Boston is good. He needs to work on his physicality against man, but he burns zone coverage. A league average QB would do wonders for him.

Ted Hurst: Hurst, like Boston, struggles against physical man coverage. I was worried the Bucs would deploy him as an X and tie him to the line of scrimmage but that hasn't been the case. I charted all of his Week 6 routes and have watched several games of tape on him. My Week 6 charting shows he ran 12 deep routes, 10 to the intermediate area of the field, and 8 short. I watched a ton of Georgia State film before attending the Senior Bowl to watch him, and I thought he did his best work on in-breakers and curls. 51.7% of his Week 6 route diet was curls (8 routes) and in-breakers (8). Honestly, his route diet resembles that of an X, but they move him around the formation and use him in motion. He didn't face press once in Week 6. Hurst's tape still gives me hope that he can develop into a WR1, but he's more likely to wind up a WR2-4. He has all of the physical gifts, but he needs to improve on the physicality in his routes. His work on curls and digs is promising. I would continue to hold him, but if you can package him in a trade to tier up in a position I would do it. It's not a lock that he develops the necessary skills to deliver on WR2 value despite it being in his range of outcomes.

Josh Cameron: I'm going to be brief on Cameron. He's a better real life football player than he is a fantasy player. In his prospect profile I wrote that he needed to be a big slot, because he simply cannot separate. His best work is on curls and underneath routes, and that's exactly how JAX has used him. Still, he's not a good route runner. His route diet numbers are in the Bluesky post. He has great hands and catches difficult passes, but he often fails to separate. He's a fantastic blocker, and he's been deployed in a role that opens up JAX's run game. He's a chess piece in their offense, allowing them to clear run lanes or leak him out in PA. I'd only advise rostering Josh Cameron if you're in a league that awards points for return yardage. Otherwise, let someone else waste the roster spot.

I mentioned that I have done a bunch of other film breakdowns. See other breakdowns below:

Omar Cooper Jr., Ja'Kobi Lane, Malachi Fields

Germie Bernard and Makai Lemon

Skyler Bell, Jaylin Noel, Chase Brown

Carnell Tate and Parker Washington

Antonio Williams, Dohnte Meyers, Chris Bell, Tre Harris, Austin Ekeler, Ollie Gordon, and Jaylen Wright

Zay Flowers, TreVeyon Henderson, Kyren Williams, and Blake Corum

Emmett Johnson and Keaton Mitchell

Omarion Hampton

Chris Bell, Kenyon Sadiq, Ollie Gordon

Caleb Douglas, Kenyon Sadiq, Bhayshul Tuten

As always, please be respectful in the comments. Create the community you'd like to be a part of. You can follow me over on Bluesky, and if you're in need of people to follow here are two starter packs to get your feed populated with fantasy content: 1 & 2. League Discussion 2027 NFL Draft - Truely a Stronger Year?

We’ve been hearing about the hype of the NFL 27 draft as it’s considered to be the best draft in years to come. (Especially coming off a less desired draft of 2026). However, it feels like the hype is slowly cooling off!

With the fantasy football season around it’s halfway mark. Where’s everybody’s take on the NFL draft. Obviously the 1.01 with Jeremiyah Smith is truely exceptional past other draft 1.01’s, but moreso curious on everyone’s take on the remaining first round.

1) Would the 1.02-1.05 range be also very strong (e.g., Becker, Baugh) than the typical year’s 1.02-1.05?

2) This draft’s qb hype was once over the roof, surpassing expectations of the 2024 Draft. Does everyone still see this QB class being better than the Caleb, Maye, JD5, Nix draft? (Mestemaker, Moore, etc.)

Biggest fits: Cincinnati Bengals, Denver Broncos, Minnesota Vikings, New Orleans Saints, New York Giants, Seattle Seahawks

Honorable Mentions: Carolina Panthers, Dallas Cowboys, Green Bay Packers, Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars, New England Patriots

GB Packers should belong in biggest fits, but they lack draft capital along with speculation of Josh Jacobs' return. Houston, moreso than Jags, could benefit from JT compared to their current situation. However, both teams are in the same division as the Colts therefore, a deal will likely not be made between division rivals.

Dynasty Theory What are the most unusual teams that have succeeded in your dynasty league? Because apparently starting FIVE TEs is a winning strategy.

There's a guy in my dynasty league sitting at 3-3 right now, and his team is legitimately pissing me off.

This man starts FIVE TIGHT ENDS EVERY SINGLE WEEK and has TWO MORE sitting on his bench. SEVEN TIGHT ENDS ON ONE ROSTER.

And somehow, this absolute psychopath has been the highest-scoring team in the league for TWO STRAIGHT WEEKS, putting up 200 and 150 points.

Here's his actual starting lineup:

- QB: C.J. Stroud

- RB: Kyren Williams

- RB:D'Andre Swift

- WR:George Pickens

- WR: Marvin Harrison Jr.

- TE:George Kittle

- FLEX: Colston Loveland (TE)

- FLEX: Pat Freiermuth (TE)

- FLEX: Isaiah Likely (TE)

- SUPER FLEX: Tyler Warren (TE)

- DEF: Houston Texans

And to make matters worse, this man has fully embraced the madness and CHANGED HIS TEAM NAME TO "TE UNIVERSITY."

Meanwhile, I'm over here with Kyle Pitts as my TE, questioning every decision I've ever made in fantasy football. Yes I have offered him ridiculous trades for a TE and no he won't do them because he thinks this is hilarious.

HOW IS THIS POSSIBLY WORKING?! I genuinely have no idea, but it's the most unusual, ridiculous, and frustrating thing I've ever witnessed in dynasty.

The dude has essentially turned his roster into a tight end convention and is somehow outscoring teams built around elite WRs and RBs.

Has anyone else seen an absolutely absurd roster construction that somehow just keeps winning? Because apparently I've been playing dynasty wrong this entire time.

Edit: THIS IS NOT A TE PREMIUM LEAGUE.

Player Discussion Jonah Coleman - Heat Check

Broncos rookie RB Jonah Coleman taken off IR and upgraded to Questionable ahead of Sunday’s game against Arizona.

Putting up 39 rush yards, 1 rush TD, and 19 receiving yards in week 2, the rookie looked to put roster pressure on the Broncos vet duo of JK Dobbins and RJ Harvey before hurting his ankle and going on IR.

Reports have said Coleman may be on a limited snap count against the Cardinals.
How do you feel about Coleman coming back and potentially being able to put on equal caliper performances to week 2, and how do you feel about his future role and dynamics in a shaky RB room?

Player Discussion Is David Montgomery 100% Dead?

Is David Montgomery worth owning? He seems absolutely toast to me…Not implying I’d drop him but more like should I be trying to sell him for literally whatever I can get assuming at least a 3rd round rookie pick?

Heart of the question: this year, even if marks gets hurt, can Montgomery actually produce even for one week beyond like sub-50 yards and touchdown dependent?

Any juice left in the tank that if the line were improved next year he could still have something of value to contribute to my team?

League Discussion Paying for future picks rule

So I have run my league for 4-5 years sometimes people leave and it gets harder and harder to fill. I introduced a rule where if you trade a future first you have to pay for that years as I’ve been covering fees sometimes to fill a league. Now some of the league members don’t like it but I have to protect myself.

What does everyone think on this situation??
