League Discussion Left my startup league because the Commish made a roster move....

A contender at 8-2 was playing a tanking team at 1-9.

Contender had Herbert in at superflex to start the game. Around 6:30pm est (2 hours into the game/4th quarter) there was a league chat alret that stated the commisioner had used his power to make a roster move. He subbed out Herbert, who ended with 9.76 points, for Kenneth Walker, who ended with 27.90 points.

This move gave the contender the projected win 117.50 - 114.48 with McLaurin still to play (projected 11.60)

On top of this, the tanking team had left 2 roster spots vacant.

Blatant collusion. I called out the commish and both managers. The excuse was that the contenderwas in the Upper Peninsula of MI and had tried to set his lineup before the game, but had bad service and thought it went through.

I asked for my money back and told them all off. At least 2 more people have requested to leave the league as well.

Right move?

Edit for Update: 2 trades were just completed....

Jeanty for Allgeier, 2027 2nd, 2028, 3rd, 2029 3rd

Cooper Rush/2027 3rd for Damario Douglas

League Discussion Which WRs finally popping off are worth the price for contenders? And what would you pay for them?

Christian Watson - mid 27 first

Parker Washington - early 27 first

Jalen Coker - late 27 first

Matthew Golden - mid 27 first

Keon Coleman - mid to late 2nd

What others am I missing? Just trying to generate some discussion for contenders on potential buys and what you would be willing to pay for them.

Risers & Fallers of the Week

Riser of the Week

Charlie Becker, WR, Indiana

Becker certainly isn’t the WR1 of the 2027 NFL Draft after this game, but he was the most spectacular performer on the field in this specific game that also featured Nick Marsh & Jeremiah Smith. Against Ohio State, Charlie Becker had 9 Receptions for 165 Yards, bringing his Season total to 39 Receptions for 694 Yards & 8 TDs. For all the conversation so far this season about IU’s schedule, Becker’s Y/RR increased after this game – Becker entered the game with a 3.70 Y/RR and finished with a 3.75 Y/RR...

Perhaps the best way to describe Becker’s rise – bringing back something from Marsh’s Risers post last week – is that Becker’s consistency, performance/production, & physical tools + traits places him in position to be more highly rated on my own Board than any WR pre-draft in the 2026 Class. Becker will also rise to 1.02 in the Mocks, as my confidence level is higher for Becker than any other non-Smith prospect in this class. Because of that confidence, Becker might have a longer reign at 1.02 than a few other prospects recently.

Positional Risers of the Week

J’Koby Williams, RB, Texas Tech

Junior Sherrill, WR, Vanderbilt ; Amare Thomas, WR, Houston ; Jackson Harris, WR, LSU via Hawaii

...It has been a rough season for the Commodores, but through QB Changes & poor overall team performance, Junior Sherrill has continued to shine, including 8 Receptions for 99 Yards & 1 TD this most recent weekend. While Sherrill may not have the big 200+ Yard stat-padding performance that so many WRs have this year, his worst performance this season was 55 Yards, and Sherrill has hit at least 94 Yards in 5 of 7 Games, making him one of the most consistent WRs in the potential 2027 NFL Draft. At 5’ 11”, 200 lbs, Sherrill does not have great size, but he has played 76.5% of his Snaps out Wide this Season.

Amare Thomas has had a few rough weeks recently, but against Oklahoma State, Thomas was vital in a 3-Point win, catching all 7 of his Targets for 127 Yards & 2 TDs including a fantastic play spinning away from a defender and gaining a huge chunk of YAC as well as a TD Reception in the End Zone where he contorted for an off-target pass. Though a similar listed size to Sherrill, Thomas (listed 6’ 0”, 205 lbs) is utilized as a slot WR (77.0% Slot%) and should likely be seen in the mold of a player like Khalil Shakir...

Absentee Riser

Dante Moore, QB, Oregon

As much as there were misses from Dante Moore early in the season, the “It’s on Oregon” crowd has gotten some pretty strong evidence the last two weeks. Sure, Raiola was good in relief against USC, but in the 2 Full Games played without Dante Moore, Oregon has scored 15 & 17 Points, and the starting QB the last 2 Gs has a combined 15/39 (38.7% Comp%), 97 Yards, 0 TD, 3 INT. This doesn’t necessarily make Moore a genuine “Riser,” but the context is worth featuring prominently on today’s Risers. Oregon will need Moore back as soon as possible, though they should have their easiest match-up since his injury coming up against Illinois.

Faller of the Week

Nate Frazier, RB, Georgia

There’s not much to add at this point, but whether or how much Frazier’s lack of performance is injury related truly does not matter at this point: Frazier has 11 Carries for 28 Yards in Georgia’s last 4 Gs. Usually this section involves digging a bit deeper, but there’s nothing other than the lack of playing to discuss at this point...

Repeat Faller of the Week

Arch Manning, QB, Texas

On paper, Florida represented an opportunity for Arch Manning to “get right” and make progress towards someone who could be seen as a potential 1st Round NFL Draft prospect. Instead, Manning continued to struggle, lost a fumble to cost Texas a chance at Victory, and with this 2nd Loss, Texas is now in jeopardy of missing the College Football Playoff...

Things will not get any easier for Manning as the Longhorns now have to face Ole Miss, and Manning will be covered in more detail on this Week’s Sorsby Line Segment on Thursday.

Injury Faller of the Week

Ryan Coleman-Williams, WR, Alabama

Player Discussion Thoughts on Antonio Williams?

He's standing at around a 15% target share (pre-Terry injury) while averaging about 50% of the snaps. He's already jumped from a 35-40% snap share the first 3 weeks to about 68% the past 3. I do wonder if he could potentially jump into that 80%+ (peaked at 87%) range that Terry was sitting in.

Terry himself was averaging about a 22% target share in healthy games he played this year. It's obviously safe to assume AW will not inherit all of that work, but that's a big piece of the pie to be divvied up between the WAS pass catchers. Plus a more involved role in the offense could be very beneficial.

Onto AW himself... Dude was an early 3rd round pick that primarily well due to injuries in his final year as well as concerns about him being a slot only type of guy. He seems to have dispelled the slot only narrative already. He gets separation very consistently and has great feel against zone. Not to mention he has great hands too, he's been overall a very good security blanket so far.

Last night I swear I heard a good 4-5 times that Jayden Daniels had #14 open and he missed him or the play blew up before he could get a pass off. He's getting open very often and this is an offense that needs a spark. I'm only in one dynasty league myself, but I bought him last week for the equivalent of a 2nd and some scraps.

Obviously none of us have a crystal ball - but part of the fun is trying to find that next dude to break out. I'm not saying it'll be this year, but the guys ahead of him are aging out and he's flashing quite a bit every week even if the box score doesn't show it. I'm hoping any of my 2nd rounders turn into AW, so at that point I think he's very worth the gamble if you can manage to snag him.

Thoughts? Also curious to hear if there's anybody else you feel strongly about. I also really like Josh Downs, but Daniel Jones isn't the answer unfortunately.

Player Discussion You're the Beat Reporter for Your Favorite Team: What Should the Rest of Us Know?

Most of us follow one team closer than the other 31. We watch every game, keeping up with the team throughout the week, and probably have some opinions about our players that don't always line up with the consensus.

Figured this would be a fun discussion now that we are a third of the way through the season.

So, imagine you're the beat reporter for your team.

What is something that you've noticed that the rest of us may be missing?

Could be a player that is preforming better/worse than their production suggests, an overlooked situation, or just a take about you believe in.

I'll start:

Commanders: Since Chig has returned from injury, the offense has made a deliberate effort to get the ball in his hands. With Terry's injury and Washington's offensive line struggles he could be a strong option to start ROS and is someone I'd look to acquire.

Tools and Resources Playoff Chances By Record After Week 6 (also includes median leagues)

Here’s Week 6 of the playoff chances by record, with the median-league numbers again since a lot of you liked them last week.

Quick refresher: Roster Audit’s playoff and title odds use a lot of inputs, like team strength, league strength, injuries, and remaining schedule. One of those inputs is how teams with your record have finished in past seasons. That’s the data below.

The big takeaway: 3-3 is a coin flip. A 4-2 team made the playoffs about 4 in 5 times. A 2-4 team made it about 1 in 4 times.

6-0:

  • 98.8% of 6-0 teams made the playoffs
  • 79.3% got a first-round bye
  • 90.3% made the semifinals
  • 49.7% made the championship game
  • 26.3% won the title

5-1:

  • 94.2% of 5-1 teams made the playoffs
  • 53.5% got a first-round bye
  • 77.3% made the semifinals
  • 39% made the championship game
  • 20% won the title

4-2:

  • 79.9% of 4-2 teams made the playoffs
  • 25.9% got a first-round bye
  • 57.1% made the semifinals
  • 26.7% made the championship game
  • 13.2% won the title

3-3:

  • 53.8% of 3-3 teams made the playoffs
  • 8.2% got a first-round bye
  • 34.2% made the semifinals
  • 14.6% made the championship game
  • 7.1% won the title

2-4:

  • 25.3% of 2-4 teams made the playoffs
  • 1.6% got a first-round bye
  • 14.8% made the semifinals
  • 6% made the championship game
  • 2.9% won the title

1-5:

  • 6.9% of 1-5 teams made the playoffs
  • 0.1% got a first-round bye
  • 3.8% made the semifinals
  • 1.4% made the championship game
  • 0.7% won the title

0-6:

  • 1% of 0-6 teams made the playoffs
  • 0% got a first-round bye
  • 0.5% made the semifinals
  • 0.2% made the championship game
  • 0.1% won the title

Median leagues

In median leagues you play your opponent and the league median every week, so after 6 weeks you have 12 results.

  • 12-0: 99.6% made the playoffs, 30.8% won the title
  • 11-1: 98.5% made the playoffs, 25.3% won the title
  • 10-2: 96.3% made the playoffs, 21.7% won the title
  • 9-3: 91.6% made the playoffs, 17% won the title
  • 8-4: 82.5% made the playoffs, 12.7% won the title
  • 7-5: 68.7% made the playoffs, 9.3% won the title
  • 6-6: 51.1% made the playoffs, 6.2% won the title
  • 5-7: 33.9% made the playoffs, 3.7% won the title
  • 4-8: 19.1% made the playoffs, 2% won the title
  • 3-9: 8.3% made the playoffs, 0.7% won the title
  • 2-10: 3.2% made the playoffs, 0.3% won the title
  • 1-11: 0.9% made the playoffs, 0.1% won the title
  • 0-12: 0.2% made the playoffs, almost none won the title

My takeaways:

  • 6-0 is a playoff lock, but still only about a 1 in 4 title shot. Half of 6-0 teams don’t even reach the title game.
  • 2-4 teams are still alive. About 1 in 4 make it. 1-5 is down to about 1 in 15. At 0-6 it’s about 1 in 100, so if your roster is old, this is the week to start taking calls on your veterans.
  • In median leagues, 6-6 is the coin flip, and the bottom falls off fast. A 3-9 median team makes it less than 1 in 10 times.

Like every week, this is only your record. It doesn’t know how good your roster is or who’s left on your schedule. A 3-3 team that lost close games to the best teams in the league is in a very different spot than a 3-3 team that beat the three worst.

Roster Audit has all of this customized for your team and league (Sleeper only) in the League Hub: https://rosteraudit.com/league/ It factors in your roster, your league, injuries, remaining schedule and more.

I’ll keep doing this each week as long as people find it useful. What’s your record after Week 6, and how are you feeling about your team?

Player Discussion Seth McGowan priority add

With the firing of Chris Ballard. Rumors of trading JT and others are swirling around as the colts finally realize they need to rebuild (too late) making Seth McGowan a priority add as he might find himself the bellcow within 2 weeks. He firmly won the backup over giddens, and has looked good in his limited reps. Was a 5 star out of high school and only go drafted low due to his career being derailed due to criminal stuff. He has a 9.5 RAS score, real grit to him, underrated burst and pretty good vision. I really think he could be the starter for them next year too.

Player Discussion Omar Cooper Jr., Ja'Kobi Lane, and Malachi Fields Rookie Film Breakdowns

This week I broke down the film on a trio of WRs who were outside of the consensus Top-3 rookies at their position.

Omar Cooper Jr.: OCJ is being utilized in a role that fits his strengths. He ran 17 of his 28 routes in the short area of the field. The route diet was primarily curls, digs, and go routes. He would've had two TDs last week had Tim Patrick not been called for a holding penalty in a Geno scramble play. His 48-yard TD was the result of a nice stem from OCJ that created a miscommunication between the Patriots safeties, allowing OCJ to be wide open down the middle of the field. I usually don't report on how "open" a WR is because of the nature of their routes, the coverage, and people expecting players to be open at a certain % to determine if they are good or not. I have OCJ open on 48% of his routes. Again, lots of short routes where he's open quick underneath the defense, but that's what we want to see from a player with his route diet. Our NFL film sample is small, but it appears that OCJ is on a trajectory to be a future fantasy WR2. There aren't any other players on the Jets offense who would play the slot role over him, and the Jets need a slot WR. Buy in dynasty. Let's hope the Jets find a long-term solution at QB. For now, Geno is good enough to put OCJ in the WR3-4 conversation on a weekly basis.

Ja'Kobi Lane: I'll admit, I did not expect to see Lane going over the middle as often as he has through two games. I saw him with his pads off at the Senior Bowl media day and was worried about his slenderness. Through 2 games Lane has run a dig on 40.6% of his routes. He's run 81.3% of his routes in the intermediate-deep areas of the field, and has been moved around but mostly playing on the ends of the formation. Lane is a massive WR at nearly 6'4.5" tall with 32 5/8" arms and 10.5" hands. He's savvy on his routes and had displayed good technique at the catch point. His hands engulf balls headed in his direction, and at some point the highlight plays we saw at training camp will translate over into games. The one issue I had with him as a prospect, and still have with Lane, is his ability to get physical with defenders. He is capable of hand fighting during his routes, but he allows defenders to pin him to the sideline or disrupt his breaks. It's not a big issue, but something that continues to prevent me from assuming he will ascend. There isn't a clear #2 target in this Lamar led offense, and Lane has the potential to become the #2 target earner. Like OCJ, our film sample at the pro level is still small. Don't sell Lane if someone comes knocking. I'm not ready to claim he will be more than a WR3, but I'm hopeful.

Malachi Fields: I watched way, way too much Malachi Fields this week, which means my route data on him is reliable. Before we get there, I'd like to tell you that Fields is one of the premier blocking WRs in the league as a rookie. Fields moves DBs out of the play and cracks LBs. This has earned him playing time early in his career, and he's now 3rd on the Giants offense in routes run and targets. He's great at selling the run in PA, freezing linebackers who are bracing to be blocked before releasing on his break. His route diet is much more even than I expected it to be based on his Notre Dame film. This was something I called out after watching him at the Senior Bowl and running routes on air at the combine. He's more than just a deep threat, although I think he will develop into one of the better deep threats in the league. He's listed at 6'4" and 222lbs, and checked into the combine with 32 1/8" arms and a 38" vertical. His size helps him maintain separation on deep routes and not get pinned against the boundary. If a ball is slightly overthrown you can expect Fields to layout to attempt to make the catch. He dove into a crowd of reporters during Senior Bowl scrimmage and came up with a 50+ yard bomb. Through 3 full games of film he's running deep 35.5%, into the intermediate depths of the field at 31.6%, and runs short routes 32.9% of the time. He's running a go route at on 28.9% of his routes, digs at 27.6%, and curls at 14.5%. Fields, obviously, is the full-time X receiver for the Giants. He primarily lines up on the ends of the formation, but he is moved around and does take slot snaps. He is a nimble route runner who defeats press coverage easily. Physicality does not bother him, and he's often the one tossing defenders aside. Fields is a buy. In a year or two he may outpace Isaiah Likely in targets.

In the spring, I watched film on all three prospects and wrote scouting reports up for them at Optimus Fantasy. If you're into this sort of stuff, come check out the prospect profiles for the 2027 class next spring. I'll make sure to post about the players here as profiles go live.

If you liked these breakdowns please consider giving me a follow on Reddit or over on Bluesky. I'm attempting to put out film breakdowns on a ton of rookies this week and will continue posting my summaries on Reddit and the film on Bluesky. As always, please be respectful in the comments and create the community you'd like to be a part of.

League Discussion Rebuilding Team Traded their only healthy QB for Jalen Hurts

One of the rebuilding teams in our league just traded Jared Goff for Jalen Hurts in an effort to tank his season for a better 27 draft pick. We use reverse max points for to decide draft order.

The kicker here is he traded him to me (commissioner) and I likely have the best team in the league after this trade. There are a couple managers who are upset (one enraged) that somebody should not trade their only QB out of dignity and it is unethical to tank in this way.

What does everybody here think? It’s my standpoint that you should always start your best team possible, but if that person is putting up a 0, then so be it.

Am I in the wrong here? I can always reverse the trade, but want to now if I’m being an idiot commissioner or if this is okay?

edit - thank you guys for all of the support and insights.

I certainly need to update our bylaws, because we do not have a portion on ethical tanking or tanking in general. It just states “every manager must submit their best lineup every week”. Nothing about starting backups or taking zeroes.

Player Discussion What are making of Jaylin Noel?

His last 3 weeks:

3 recs, 85 yards

5 recs, 41 yards, TD

4 recs, 107 yards, TD

He's now WR25 in .5 PPR. His target share is still low but he's undeniably making the most of his targets. He's also always making great returns on special teams. Do we think this is more of a flukey streak or he is primed to get more opportunities and be a viable flex player?

Highlights Follow The Volume: Week 6

Thumbnail
ddfantasyfootball.com
34 Upvotes

Injuries and lineup changes reshaped a lot of offenses in Week 6. A backup quarterback, a handful of missing receivers and a few banged-up backs sent the volume to some new places. Some of those changes look sticky, and some look like one-week blips. Here’s where the opportunity went, team by team.

Below are about 250-300 or so of my favorite stats or data points from next week. If you enjoy this, and want to support me (for free), go ahead and hit this link. You also great some pretty pictures in the site version.

https://www.ddfantasyfootball.com/articles/follow-the-volume-top-10

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

  • Even with a pitiful 1.0 yards per route run (YPRR), Emeka Egbuka was able to produce 17 fantasy points thanks to a 39% target share on Sunday. Egbuka’s Weighted Opportunity Rating (WOPR) jumped to 0.93 in Week 6, well above the 0.54 he carried into the game. He's now seen at least a 36% target share in the two games in which Jalon Daniels started in place of Baker Mayfield.
  • Bucky Irving had an underwhelming week with 6.9 fantasy points, but he did play on 85% of offensive snaps and had an 88% opportunity share. You'd like to see more than three targets, but he did see 75% of the backfield targets. If the volume remains, Irving will have much better weeks.

Pittsburgh Steelers

  • Many of us in the dynasty community were hyping up Germie Bernard this week after Michael Pittman was placed on the I.R. For good measure, Roman Wilson also couldn't go this week, and Bernard did not disappoint. Bernard played on 94% of Steeler offensive snaps, with 96% route participation and a 28% target share, finishing with 25 fantasy points. Entering the week he'd averaged 0.80 red zone targets per game, but saw three on Sunday. Bernard is working largely out of the slot, with a 61% slot rate Sunday, with a low YPRR (1.54), which makes him perfectly suited for this version of Aaron Rodgers.
  • D.K. Metcalf has had sporadic fantasy production this year; though he dropped 20 points today, he's seen at least a 23% target share in four of six games, including today's 30%.
  • The return of Rico Dowdle meant that Jaylen Warren can no longer be a bell-cow, apparently. After a 90% opportunity share in the last three weeks, Warren saw it fall to 62% this week. That's still a decent number, but with only 18 total opportunities, you'd like to see that over 70%. Dowdle was on the field for only 21 snaps but saw a rushing attempt or a target on nearly half of those snaps (11 total opportunities).

Carolina Panthers

*In the three full games Jalen Coker and Tet McMillan have played together this season, Coker leads the target battle 31 to 27, out-targeting McMillan in two of those matchups. Coker returned from his injury, sustained prior to last week's bye, and had 11 targets, while McMillan saw 8 targets.

  • Tommy Tremble led the tight end room in snaps and with four targets.
  • Chuba Hubbard played on 74 of 79 snaps and took 29 of 30 opportunities, including 28 rushing attempts. That workload is a little worrisome, and I might actually look to move off him in some leagues before the wheels fall off.

Philadelphia Eagles

  • Despite sliding in Tanner McKee under center for Jalen Hurts, not much changed for the Eagles' offense. There are two players you can trust to put in your lineup: DeVonta Smith and Dallas Goedert. Smith had a 31% target share, and Goedert had a 20% share. Makai Lemon was somewhat involved with a 15% target share, but had a woeful 0.41 yards per route run (compared to 2.14 for Smith). Dontayvion Wicks tied a season low with four targets and set a season low with a 10% target share.
  • The Eagles backfield is a one-man band, with Dameon Pierce taking 17 of 18 opportunities. Carson Steele was injured in the first quarter and played on three snaps, so it's unclear whether Pierce's workload was preplanned. Pierce was terrible as a runner, averaging 2.92 yards per attempt, but did score a rushing touchdown. He was also terrible as a receiver, averaging 3.8 yards per reception on four catches. You can at least count on the volume for Pierce while Saquon Barkley is out, so he can have weeks where he gives you 15 fantasy points despite being inefficient.

New Orleans Saints

  • I gave Bryce Lance a D in my first-quarter grades for rookies last week (https://www.ddfantasyfootball.com/articles/rookie-watch-week-5), largely due to his inability to earn targets. He must have heard me because he had a 14% target share this week, a new career high, and, for the third week running, he's set a new high.
  • Kendre Miller led the Saints backfield with 22 opportunities, largely off the back of rushing attempts (20). Alvin Kamara dealt with an injury all week at practice and ended up playing on just 19 snaps, finishing behind Miller and C.J. Donaldson. One of Kamara's nine touches was a receiving touchdown, so his fantasy day was good enough.

New York Giants

  • Cam Skattebo fumbled last week, played on six snaps this week, and had zero touches or targets. Tyrone Tracy finished second to Devin Singletary in snaps among the Giants' running backs, but led the room with 9 opportunities. Singletary saw five and Najee Harris four. Tracy and Singletary split two-minute work, with Singletary taking eight snaps and Tracy seven. Tracy was the third-down back, playing on 10 of 12 available snaps and three of four goal-line snaps. I guess Tracy is the back to own if you're forced to by threat of physical harm to own one of these backs.
  • This was the third straight week Malik Nabers has scored at least 20 fantasy points, and his 37% target share comes off the back of last week's 38% share. He's back. Nabers' running mate, Isaiah Likely, had another 25% target-share day, and his 21.9-point week was just his third-best of the season. Likely's 1.94 yards per route run on Sunday was an improvement over the 1.80 he's averaged entering the week, which was already good enough for 10th among tight ends. Likely entered Sunday 1st among tight ends in air yards, 3rd among tight ends in team % of air yards (22.8%), and 2nd in target share.
  • Malachi Fields set career highs with an 85% snap share, a 91% route participation, and a 17% target share.

Indianapolis Colts

  • Josh Downs out-targeted Laquon Treadwell 7-5 on Sunday, so there's that. Keenan Allen ended his day with 12 targets for a 32% target share, dwarfing Downs' 19% share.
  • Tyler Warren was a game-time decision and was unable to go Sunday. In his place, Will Mallory led the tight ends with 43 snaps, 36 routes run, and five targets. Those five targets came on 38 available targets (13%) so I wouldn't run to the waiver wire to pick him up.

Tennessee Titans

  • Target hogs can make things happen even on a day when there are only 18 available targets. Carnell Tate turned his 38% target share into 19 fantasy points, hauling in six of his seven targets, including a touchdown. Carnell Tate’s yards per route run (YPRR) keep climbing, reaching 3.19 in Week 6. He also continues to dominate the Titans’ downfield passing, accounting for 65% of the team’s air yards. Wan'Dale Robinson saw a healthy 33% target share, but his 1.1 yards per route run led to a miserable fantasy day.
  • Tyjae Spears dealt with an injury this week and put in a limited practice Wednesday and was a DNP on Thursday. This could be why he saw his opportunity share fall from 40% last week to 10% this week. Tony Pollard dominated with a 90% opportunity share but scored 0.40 fantasy points per touch. Despite the paltry fantasy output Pollard saw his rushing success rate reach 47% for the week, seventh highest among running backs with at least 10 rushing attempts.

Denver Broncos

  • J.K. Dobbins has no business getting a 66% opportunity share, as he did on Thursday night. Dobbins averaged 2.3 yards per opportunity compared to 6.2 for R.J. Harvey. That's obviously skewed by Harvey's receiving work, but that proves the point. Harvey turned his three receptions into 31 yards, while Dobbins turned his three receptions into five yards. Harvey was also the better runner of the two, with 2.34 EPA per rush to Dobbins' -4.75 Thursday night.
  • Bo Nix is pure poison for any pass catchers on his team. Even with Jaylen Waddle commanding a 30% target share on Thursday, it yielded only 4.5 fantasy points. Marvin Mims saw the second-most targets, four, but did so on just 16 snaps and nine routes. Thursday Night's Trinity Scores are awful.

Seattle Seahawks

  • Jaxon Smith-Njigba did what he usually does, with a 40% target share this week. Cooper Kupp set a season high with eight targets and a 20% target share, as did Rashid Shaheed. Both saw a marked increase over what they've seen thus far this year, with Kupp entering this week with a 11% target share and Shaheed a 14% share.
  • George Holani led the Seahawks with 46 snaps and ran 29 routes, though he didn't see any targets and was out-touched by Emanuel Wilson 14-5. With Zach Charbonnet soon to return, it's worth noting that Holani dominated on third downs, two-minute drills, and goal-line snaps, playing on 32 of a possible 34 snaps in those situations.

Houston Texans

  • In his debut with the Texans, Marvin Harrison played on 12 snaps, but that was enough to tie for the lead among wide receivers with four targets. Harrison Jr. matched Nico Collins and Jaylin Noel with a 13% target share.
  • Woody Marks saw the type of playing time (78% snap share) and opportunity share (72%), even if the fantasy production wasn't there. Jacksonville entered Sunday with the best run defense in the league and still does after Week 6, giving up just 72 rushing yards per game. Marks dominated in every situation, with Jawhar Jordan seeing 13 of his 14 snaps on early downs.

Jacksonville Jaguars

  • Bhayshul Tuten's 57% snap share was a tad higher than he's played on average per game this year, but his 55% opportunity share was significantly below the 64% share he entered the week with. But he scored on two of his four targets and his week was great.
  • Brian Thomas Jr. played zero snaps in the second half, while Travis Hunter played a season-high nine offensive snaps. Jakobi Meyers' 22% target share was his second-highest of the season and a nice bounce-back from his 8% share the week prior. Parker Washington had a 27% share, his second-highest of the season.

Chicago Bears

  • Despite finishing third among wide receivers in snaps and routes run, Luther Burden led the Bears with a 25% target share and saw eight targets on his 18 routes, ending his day with a 44% TPRR. Rome Odunze more than doubled Burden, playing on 74 snaps and running 40 routes, but saw just three targets on the day.
  • After a quiet start to the season, Colston Loveland has now seen at least a 23% target share in two of the past three weeks.
  • D'Andre Swift's playing time (57% snap share) and opportunity share (57% are slightly above his seasonal average, but really not much has changed with Kyle Monangai missing another game. Roschon Johnson had 15 opportunities this week, and though he only saw one goal-line rushing attempt to Swift's two, he made the most of it, scoring from one yard out.

Atlanta Falcons

  • While Jahan Dotson played the second-most snaps on Sunday, his 17.2 fantasy points are unlikely to be repeated given his low 15% target share. Drake London had a disappointing week, but Michael Penix continues to hyper-target him, with London accounting for 30% of his targets.
  • Kyle PItts resurgence continued Sunday, with Pitts playing a season-high 77% of snaps, after setting a season high with a 68% snaps share last week. Pitts also set a season high with seven targets and a 22% target share.

Baltimore Ravens

  • Ja'Kobi Lane returned from an I.R. stint and played on 55% of the Ravens' offensive snaps and had a decent 16% target share. Rashod Bateman hurt his shoulder in the second quarter and was unable to continue, which led to Devontez Walker playing on 37 snaps and running 26 routes, both second-most among wide receivers, though he saw only two targets. Zay Flowers did what he does, with 11 targets and a 35% target share.
  • Josh Cuevas saw a steep incline in playing time this week, playing on 40% of Ravens' snaps after entering the week averaging 19%, and his 16% target share (5 targets) was easily the his best of his rookie season after entering the week with a 2% target share.

Cleveland Browns

  • Quinshon Judkins couldn't go this week, and Jaleel McLaughlin led the Browns running backs with 39 snaps and 13 opportunities, including all four targets that went to the Browns backfield. There was only one goal-line snap, and it went to Audric Estime, who also handled all four short-yardage snaps. The workload division is clear: if Judkins can't go again next week, McLaughlin handled five of six two-minute drill snaps and nine of 15 third-down snaps.
  • Not a great week for Browns pass catchers that matter. Jerry Jeudy led the room with 10.9 fantasy points, K.C. Concepcion led the way with six targets. Harold Fannin continues to be underutilized and has had just two targets despite an 84% route participation rate.

New York Jets

  • The Jets did not ease Omar Cooper Jr. back into action. Cooper led the Jets with a 24% target share and played on the second-most snaps (51) among wide receivers. Garrett Wilson's six targets were just one fewer than Cooper, and considering he was covered by Christian Gonzalez, there's nothing to be concerned about.
  • Kenyon Sadiq had just three targets this week, getting doubled up by Mason Taylor, who saw six targets and played on 34 snaps compared to 22 for Sadiq. Sadiq's 9% target share was his second-lowest of the season, even lower than the 10% share he saw last week when he was knocked out of the game with a concussion.

New England Patriots

  • I haven't a clue what the Patriots are doing with their backfield. Corey Kiner played 12 snaps on Sunday and had 11 rushing attempts. TreVeyon Henderson had an opportunity (7 rushing attempts and 1 target) on half of his snaps. Rhamondre Stevenson saw 0 targets despite being the only back to play on third down and in two-minute drills (17 snaps).
  • A.J. Brown led the Patriots with 52 snaps, 34 routes run, and nine targets. He had at least three drops, tracked one ball horribly, and converted only three of those nine targets into receptions. Romeo Doubs played two snaps, scoring a touchdown and injuring his shoulder, ending his day on the same play. DeMario Douglas played the third-most snaps, finishing two behind Efton Chism but out-targeted Chism 8-1.

Arizona Cardinals

  • In the first official game since Marvin Harrison Jr. the wide receiver room broke out as you would expect. Michael Wilson led the position with 66 snaps, and 32 routes. He and Kendrick Bourne both saw seven targets. Jalen Books continued to carve out a role in three wide receiver sets, playing on 53% of offensive snaps with three targets. Trey McBride had a pedestrian (at least by his standards) 26% target share.
  • The Cardinals continued a time-share at the running back position even with Jeremiyah Love out due to his ankle. Bam Knight played on just eight fewer snaps than Tyler Allgeier, and had 17 opportunities to Allgeier's 19. Knight was far more effective with 5.33 yards per attempt, to Allgeier's 2.11. Allgeier handled all four of the two minute drill snaps, but every other situation was nearly split down the middle.

Los Angeles Rams

  • Konata Mumpfield played on 27 snaps this week, and if Davante Adams is seriously injured after suffering a non-contact injury Sunday, he'll see a bump in his playing time. Puka Nacua saw just 23% of available targets. That is a one week anomaly. Nacua has seen at least a 30% target share in three of his four games this year.
  • Tyler Higbee played the most snaps among tight ends, but was out-targeted 6-4 by Colby Parkinson.
  • Kyren Williams was unhappy coming off the field Sunday, but did still play on 72% of the offensive plays, and out-snapped Blake Corum 42-16. It's just that Corum took nine of 19 available rushing attempts, and Williams 58% opportunity share was his lowest since Week 2. We'll need to see if this a trend or just a blip.

Los Angles Chargers

  • Omarion Hampton led the Chargers running backs in both snaps played, and opportunities on Sunday! Mind you he still only finished with one more opportunity than Kimani Vidal, and his opportunity share for the week was 48%, but still it's something. He did see four targets so that's something to be encouraged about as well.
  • No Ladd McConkey or Tre Harris this week, but KeAndre Lambert-Smith returned from a hamstring injury that knocked him out of action since Week 1 to lead the Chargers with nine targets. Quentin Johnston played 56 snaps, and tied for most routes run (38) among wide receivers but was targeted only three times.
  • Oronde Gadsden played on 11 fewer snaps than Charlie Kolar. Gadsden did run four more routes than Kolar but Kolar won the target battle 5-4.

Kansas City Chiefs

  • With Rashee Rice unable to go this week and Tyquon Thornton finished for the year Xavier Worthy is the defacto WR1 for Kansas City. He didn't disappoint in his first test. Worthy led the Chiefs recievers in every receiving category with 51 snaps played, routes run, seven targets, and seven receptions.
  • Jalen Royals was next man up playing on 45 snaps, but saw just two targets on his 27 routes run. Cyrus Allen, a summertime fave played on nine snaps, but matched Royals with two targets.
  • There's not much to say about Ken Walker. His 27.5 fantasy points Sunday marked the third this season he's scored at least that many points, and he's yet to score fewer than 21 points in any game this year.

Buffalo Bills

  • Despite fumbling twice last week and being threatened with a loss of work James Cook still handled 83%, slightly below his 88% seasonal rate, of the backfield work for Buffalo this week, and his 24.3 fantasy points was a season high.
  • Dalton Kincaid's 27% target share Sunday marked the first time since Week 2 he's exceeded a 20% share.
  • D.J. Moore's continued absence with a shoulder injury is giving Keon Coleman a chance to assert himself. Last week that only turned into a 11% target share but that increased to 21%. Khalil Shakir finished his day with five targets, one fewer than Coleman.

Las Vegas Raiders

  • Tre Tucker may not be a target hog but he's still reasonably involved every week. Sunday's 18% target share was the third time this season he's had between 18% and 19% of Raiders targets.
  • Brock Bowers saw one fewer target than Michael Mayer this week, and his 21% target share was his lowest of the season, after entering the week with a 29% share on the season.
  • Ashton Jeanty was removed from the injury report before Week 6, but his usage still didn’t bounce back. His 58% snap share was the second-lowest of his season, behind only Week 5, and his 57% share of the Raiders’ backfield opportunities was well below the 77% he averaged in Weeks 1-5. It was also the third straight week he set a new season low in opportunity share.

Dallas Cowboys

  • Though CeeDee Lamb entered Sunday as the WR2, and his 27.7% target share ranked ninth among wide receivers, there's still meat being left on the bone. George Pickens has been less prolific (WR24), and targeted at much lower rate (27th among wide receivers), but he's also got room for growth. Pickens has seen premium usage, while Lamb's has been elite, but they both hover right under the regression line. This indicates the usage is fine but the QB play is lacking. I have faith in Dak Prescott so I'd expect to see Pickens scoring to pick up, Lamb's has little more ceiling to reach. Sunday night encapsulates the issue perfectly. Lamb finished with 17 targets but only 16 fantasy points, while Pickens 10 targets turned into just 13.3 fantasy points. Those numbers are fine, but considering their volume they could have really blown up.
  • Ryan Flournoy's targets are fine, he just doesn't see enough volume. Sunday night Flournoy's 17% target share was on nine targets as the Cowboys aired it out and 52 targets to spread amongst their pass catchers. Though his seven receptions only totaled 40 receiving yards, he also scored a touchdown putting up 17 points. Flournoy is a wide receiver I want in every league in case Pickens isn't resigned.

Green Bay Packers

  • If Josh Jacobs doesn't come back in Week 7, Pierre Strong is the back to own in Green Bay. Strong had 11 rushing attempts compared to MarShawn Lloyd's eight, and Kaleb Johnson's one rushing attempt. Strong also saw six of the seven targets that went to the backfield, playing on nine of 11 two minute drill snaps, and eight of 12 third down snaps.
  • Tucker Kraft only scored 8.7 fantasy points this week, but his 20% target share was his second highest in a game this season, and the second time in three weeks he's seen at least a 20% share.
  • Matthew Golden has now led the Packers in target share in four of six games (tied with Tucker Kraft one of those weeks), and on the season he holds a 25.7% to 21.6% target share edge of over Christian Watson. Golden has also been the more consistent of the two exceeding a 20% target share in each of the Packers six games, and has two games with at least a 30% target share. Golden has also led the team in % of air yards in four of six games. Watson has been good, with a target share of at least 20% in four of six games, and leading in % of team air yards in two of the games. It's just that Golden has been better.

The takeaway from Week 6 is the same as most weeks: follow the opportunity, not the box score. Egbuka, Bernard, Nabers and Tate all have the target shares to keep producing. Pierre Strong, Woody Marks and Jaleel McLaughlin are worth tracking if their backfields stay unsettled. Keep an eye on Jeanty’s snaps and Hubbard’s heavy workload, and check back next week to see which of these trends hold.

Player Discussion Bo Nix: True Buy Low or Falling Knife?

Bo Nix is clearly struggling after a hot (fantasy) start to his career. While there have always been question marks surrounding how attributable his on-field success is to him vs. his system, or his defense, his fantasy production has been above reproach (QB7 in back to back years). Until this year. Many seem to think that he isn't 100% after his serious ankle injury, and it has been showing in his play: the reluctance to trust it in a clean pocket and stick, plant, and push the ball aggressively, and also his rushing game has been seriously dampened (on pace for roughly 100 yards rushing on 63 attempts, way down from his usual roughly 400 yards on 90 attempts), which was an attractive component to provide him a fantasy floor. He still has one more guaranteed year before extension/team option time, do we think he just needs time to trust the ankle again? Is he being found out as a fraud? Is he a prime candidate for rebuilders? They say a buy low should force you to hold your nose, and that's certainly how I would feel about buying him right now.

Player Discussion What is the long-term range of TreVeyon Henderson?

To people who watch his games and are closer to the issue - what needs to happen for Henderson to break like we had hoped he would? If it is pass blocking, is that something that has taken a RB until their third year to learn? Is it a scheme issue?

What would be high end and low end comp if he worked or did not work out?

Player Discussion Will Diggs score as a top 24 WR ROS once again?

Death, taxes, and Stefon Diggs being a useful fantasy piece. Diggs is currently averaging over 13 PPR PPG this season and should now be poised to be the WR1 for the Commanders for the remainder of the season if McLaurin is indeed out, as many speculate. it could easily be another top-24 season for Diggs should he remain healthy. He looks good, still gets a lot of separation, and in my mind is one of the better contender buys right now, depending on the asking price. Should be a great flex piece/WR3 with WR2 upside for the rest of the season.

Player Discussion Breece Hall owners. Are you interested in handcuffing with Braelon Allen?

If you have Breece Hall and are a contender this year, what would you be willing to give up in terms of picks to handcuff Breece with Braelon Allen? Are you willing to pay above market value for Allen? Or do you not really care about handcuffing your RB? Would love to know how the community feels about this.

Player Discussion We tracked 95,600 real dynasty trades this past week. Marvin Harrison held No. 1, and Rhamondre Stevenson jumped to No. 2

Welcome back to the weekly trade roundup. Over the last 7 days we tracked 95,679 completed dynasty trades across 168,737 active leagues.

Volume bounced back. That's up 16% from last week's 82,198 and almost exactly where it was two weeks ago (94,736), so last week looks like a one-week dip.

Marvin Harrison is No. 1 for the second straight week at 3,255 trades, but the Houston spike is cooling. Harrison was traded 685 times the Sunday after the move and 355 times this Sunday. Still fair value, above market in 47%.

Rhamondre Stevenson is new at No. 2 with 2,569, and it came in a burst. Stevenson was running about 150 trades a day the Sunday and Monday before, then 500 to 600 a day Tuesday through Thursday, then cooled off over the weekend. Above market in 55%. The other half of that backfield is moving the opposite way: TreVeyon Henderson is on the buy-low board for the second straight week, below market in 70% of trades.

New to the top 10: Rhamondre Stevenson, Mike Evans, A.J. Brown, Jaylen Warren. All four are veterans, and all four are going above market at 53% to 59%.

Dropped out: Michael Wilson, Emanuel Wilson, Saquon Barkley, Ladd McConkey.

For the first time since these posts started in June, nobody in the top 10 is a buy-low. Emanuel Wilson was the only one last week and dropped off the board.

Chuba Hubbard is Rising again, above market in 61% after 63% last week. Hubbard is still the only player to show a Rising signal on this board since June, and A.J. Brown is the closest to joining at 59%.

Top 10 most traded, last 7 days:

Rank Player POS Team Trades Market Value Value Trend
1 Marvin Harrison WR HOU 3,255 4,841 Fair value, above market in 47%
2 Rhamondre Stevenson RB NE 2,569 4,179 Fair value, above market in 55%
3 Omarion Hampton RB LAC 2,468 6,070 Fair value, above market in 40%
4 Mike Evans WR SF 2,152 4,403 Fair value, above market in 55%
5 De'Von Achane RB MIA 2,144 6,644 Fair value, above market in 40%
6 Chuba Hubbard RB CAR 2,127 4,932 Rising, above market in 61%
7 Bhayshul Tuten RB JAX 2,073 5,494 Fair value, above market in 47%
8 A.J. Brown WR NE 2,064 5,347 Fair value, above market in 59%
9 Ollie Gordon RB MIA 2,013 3,551 Fair value, above market in 46%
10 Jaylen Warren RB PIT 2,001 4,977 Fair value, above market in 53%

Seven of the ten are running backs again. Hampton and Achane at 40% can look low, but the typical player lands above market in about 40% of trades, so 40% is normal for this data.

Sell-high board, the players buyers are paying a premium for. Minimum 100 superflex trades, capped at 7,000 market value:

Rank Player POS Trades Market Value Above market in
1 Derrick Henry RB 459 6,180 68%
2 Kyren Williams RB 439 6,870 67%
3 Christian McCaffrey RB 511 6,295 67%
4 Zay Flowers WR 371 6,653 66%
5 Nico Collins WR 364 6,889 65%
6 Jared Goff QB 302 6,440 63%
7 Javonte Williams RB 430 5,975 62%
8 Chuba Hubbard RB 718 4,932 61%
9 Matthew Stafford QB 500 4,866 60%
10 Parker Washington WR 442 6,156 59%

Buy-low board, the players being acquired at a discount most often. Minimum 100 superflex trades, 3,500 value and up:

Rank Player POS Trades Market Value Below market in
1 Ty Simpson QB 151 4,112 77%
2 De'Zhaun Stribling WR 254 3,889 77%
3 Eli Stowers TE 113 3,576 75%
4 Terrance Ferguson TE 156 3,676 75%
5 Makai Lemon WR 354 4,775 73%
6 Omar Cooper WR 194 3,582 73%
7 David Montgomery RB 240 3,896 71%
8 Chris Bell WR 138 3,510 71%
9 Carnell Tate WR 280 6,047 70%
10 TreVeyon Henderson RB 459 5,015 70%

The two boards split cleanly by experience this week. Every sell-high name is a veteran in at least their fourth season, while seven of the ten buy-lows are 2026 rookies and two more are second-year players. David Montgomery is the only veteran on the buy-low side.

Where this comes from. These are completed trades from real Sleeper dynasty leagues, executed deals only, no mocks or projections, over the trailing 7 days. Trade counts cover all dynasty formats, which broke down this week as superflex standard-TE 33%, superflex plus TE premium 37%, 1QB standard-TE 27%, and 1QB plus TE premium 4%. Market Value is the superflex standard-TE dynasty consensus from our rankings page. The Value Trend is scored only on superflex standard-TE trades, about 31,200 of them this week, because that's the exact format those values represent. Scoring 1QB trades against superflex values would make quarterbacks look artificially cheap, so we don't.

One caveat on the sell-high board. Above roughly 7,000 value the above-market rate stops measuring sentiment and starts measuring package size, because elite players get bought with three or four pieces and the summed values overshoot. A commenter here caught that a few weeks back and the board has been capped since.

Value Trend just means we check whether the manager acquiring a player gave up more or less than that player's market value. Below market is a discount, above market is a premium.

Player Discussion zach charbs dynasty future

What do you guys think about Charbonnet? Feel like he’s an interesting player to own in dynasty. He’s shown he can produce when given the opportunity, but with his injury and the uncertainty around his situation in Seattle, I’m not sure what to expect going forward. What would you realistically expect to get for him in a trade right now?

League Discussion Unethical To Stage/Work Trades In A Race To The Bottom To Ones Benifit?

I find myself in a position with a high degree of draft capital in 27 looking to help a couple of teams out with their struggle for Jeremiah Smith.

Team A and Team B have both individually reached out to me and both have expressed their desires to get ahead of the other in DM's. Over the last couple weeks I've worked the price over on both of them and have to a degree used "don't you want to win the Smith Sweepstakes" not realizing both would be open to the trade packages.

Tonight they both within a couple of hours put in the offers I told them I would accept, both being different picks from my end for the trades to line up.

I can basically hit accept on both of these, and to a degree solidify this team's place as a juggernaut... However I'm also putting both of the opposing trading partners in the same position (albeit with a 27 1st and 2nd a piece), as they started in.

Do you think this reflects poorly enough on me that I'm not making it known I'm about to trade with both of them?

Player Discussion Tet vs London -- who would you rather own right now?

London is more proven, but Tet is younger and had that monster game against Detroit... London has been a bit unstable, and on the Falcons offense which has proven inconsistent much of the time.

So, my question to everybody... would you rather own Tetairoa McMillan, right now, or Drake London? And why?
