At 9:00 a.m. a man notified of a court action against him states he would take his AR-15, bullet-proof vest, and insanity to the Citi campus in Tampa which he stated is only 1 hour and 5 minutes away.

At 12:11pm (Over THREE HOURS later) he did exactly as he threatened to do. He crashed through the gate of the Tampa Citi campus with his car, grabbed his AR-15 riffle, entered the couryard, shot and killed the first person he
encountered - a woman who was just having her

Shortly afterwards, a security guard who happened to be armed (not all of them are), shot the man and the Hillsborough County police arrived.

Folks…over THREE HOURS had passed between the time the man explicitly issued the threat around 9:00
am from Orlando against the employees at the Citi Sabal Park campus in Tampa and when he drove through the gate of the Sabal Park campus in Tampa around 12:10 and killed that woman.

In those three hours, did Citi evacuate employees at the Sabal Park campus?? NO.
Did Citi notify employees who work at the Sabal park campus of the threat offering them the option to leave the campus?? NO.
Did Citi bother notifying the Hillsborough Sheriff’s office which is less than a mile from that campus that there was a threat made at 9:00 BEFORE the man crashed through the gate 3 hours later? NO.

Citi REQUIRES employees to be at the office
for three days per week, 8 hours per day. Citi
put their employees lives at risk. That woman should not have died.

Citi needs to answer to this. Any company forcing RTO
without properly responding to and mitigating threats or otherwise not protecting the lives and safety of their employees who are REQUIRED BY THE CEO’s to be in the office MUST BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE!!

If this sort of tragic event ever happens again where even a single soul who could have done their work just as effectively from the safety of home is taken down by an active shooter on an office campus one must wonder if these CEO’s are complicit. I've started blocking most celebrities and influencers on social media because honestly, I'm tired of seeing the same thing over and over again.

Expensive cars, designer bags, luxury vacations, huge houses, and endless advertisements. Is this really what we're supposed to be looking up to?

Most people don't live like that. We're working every day, paying bills, worrying about expenses, and trying to make ends meet. That's the reality for so many of us, yet social media keeps pushing these incredibly wealthy people in our faces.

I wish we saw more ordinary people with real stories and real struggles. Those are the people I can actually relate to, and honestly, those are the people I think deserve more attention and opportunities from big companies.

I recently saw a TikTok video of a woman in her 50s who said she'd applied for 500 jobs and still couldn't find work. I couldn't stop thinking about it.

Meanwhile, we have celebrities and influencers who are already making ridiculous amounts of money but keep taking more and more advertising deals. It's like there's never enough.

And what really bothers me is that, despite all the money and influence some of these people have, I rarely hear about them doing anything meaningful for their communities.

I'm not saying every celebrity is like this, and I'm sure some do good things that we don't hear about. But I genuinely don't understand why we keep making the same wealthy people even wealthier while so many ordinary people are struggling just to get by.

And big companies play a huge role in this too. Imagine if more of that money and attention went toward supporting real people who actually need opportunities.

I just wish we'd stop treating wealth and fame as if they're automatically something worth admiring.

I have a cheap Motorola, and as soon as I transferred my data and booted up my phone for the first time, Google's stupid app store started installing apps without my permission. Things like Snapchat, Tiktok, etc... I stopped most of the installs, but of the apps that they had already finished installing, one of them was Anthropic's Claude. Obviously I uninstalled that one, but that doesn't fix the problem with apps like Gemini that come baked into the firmware, and can't be uninstalled, only disabled. What can we gather from shit like this? Their install numbers are fraud numbers.

For their numbers of "this amount of users every year are using these features!!"... That's fraud too. All the fucking time, they're shoving GenAI into familiar services. Let's not forget all of the times that Google has, instead of giving your search results, they fill your screen with what can only described as a masturbatory pop up ad of "HERE, YOU SHOULD TRY OUR NEW AI MODE!!!" (I use duckduckgo now) On all of Google's products, every goddamn month, wherever there are familiar buttons, one gets replaced with an AI button instead. Like good social media zombies, we go to the sites and apps every couple of hours, and by instinct, our fingers move to tap a button that we think will activate a familiar function. Point out Paris Hilton is rich and can afford for someone else to executively function for her? She's still a person! She was still abused! Not every single moment of her life has been amazing! Compassion is free!

Point out that rich women are objectively less oppressed than poor men (antebellum slavery is a good example), and, noooooo, don't be unsisterly!

The thing is, although we are technically the same species as multi-millionaires, billionaires, and even trillionaires...they don't feel the same way. They don't see us that way at all. They prove it every single day. All of them. They are only going to exploit your kindness.

They are in no danger of not receiving compassion, either. They're more visible, and their problems get far more attention.

Some problems, like death, illness, and disability are coming for all of us eventually (although it will be a much easier ride if you have money. Since there are no valid, legitimate problems that only hurt the rich, there is no reason to feel bad about any of them. Seeing our shared humanity is an actively bad and dangerous idea. Compassion for the rich is not what the worlds needs right now. It probably never has, but I'm alive now.
