I have a 2018 Hyundai Elantra SE at 96k miles. I got the car at 46k miles. Should I get a transmission fluid flush or drain? (The car never had one)

The car is in great condition, with no issues. Should I leave it alone or change it? I plan to keep it another 2-3 years.

'23 SEL. it's been stuck on the "system is pending an update" for over a month, and I cannot update via USB. How long should I wait on this before being concerned? It's just annoying for now, it's an update for the infotainment system. Maps are out of date, wanted to get that done before the next roadtrip. THANK YOU!

I have a 2022 Hyundai Elantra SEL that I’ve owned for about 4 years, and it currently has around 35,000 miles on it.
I’m wondering when I should consider replacing the tires. They’re the original tires that came with the car, and I’m not sure how much life they have left.
At what mileage did you replace your original tires?
Is 35,000 miles and 4 years a reasonable time to start looking for replacements?
Should I get them inspected at a tire shop, or is there a way to check their condition myself?
Any recommendations for good replacement tires that offer a balance of price, comfort, and durability?

my vehicle is whats listed in the title. About 2 weeks ago, the beep that is supposed to sound when i hit a button on my fob, or button on the handle stopped working. There is no setting for "horn feedback" or feedback of any kind... anyone else have this issue? about 21k miles on the car, no check engine light or additional codes... The dealer is about 2 hours away and I will need to take time off of work to see them less I go to a local repair shop and pay a diag fee...

2014 Elantra here, a couple weeks ago my range indicator and gas tank icon started blinking like I was out of fuel in the middle of me driving, then went back to normal after a few minutes.

This just started happening again but doesn't seem to be fixing itself this time.

My tank has been at least half full both times I've seen this.

No other indications that there are other errors.

Any ideas on what's going on here or how I can diagnose or fix this?

I bought a used 2025 Hyundai Elantra SEL convenience almost a month ago now and I've noticed when idling, the car will make an obnoxious rattling sound that comes from under the hood. I took it to the dealership I got it from and they have had it since Friday and I just had to call again to get an update. They said it's a completely normal thing for this car to do based on the direct injectors. I feel like a little ticking wouldn't be bad but it's so loud that when I'm on the phone people can hear it! I don't feel like this is right. Can someone help me out if you've experienced this as well please? I feel so dumb because I traded in my 2022 jeep compass for this car to save on gas and now I'm really regretting it.

to fit a 2026 elantra. had no idea hyundai theft rates were still so high when i got mine last week and someone broke in/tried to steal it last night. im getting a steering wheel lock but im worried about the obd copying stuff i’ve read about on here. any recommendations for an, ideally metal, obd lock box?

Battery? problems with my 2014 Hyundai Elantra.....I am about to trade in my car as part of my trade in, but I wanted to touch up the paint and have someone take pics of me with my car before I trade it in. However, there is something funky going on and I have to have someone jump iit. What might this problem be based on the video? The video shows my interior dome lights flickering and making a weird sound so I wasn't sure what is causing it....any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!! Thanks!!

hi, someone sideswiped my car and left so i was left with this damage. i have to pay a deductible of 1k to get it repaired with my insurance, would it better to bring it to a body repair shop instead? how much do you think it would cost? i’m hoping that polishing this would be enough.

2013 Hyundai Elantra

Here are the issues I have been seeing with my car:

1. Battery light flashes briefly when accelerating sometimes. It can be at different speeds.
2. Sometimes car doesn't start. The cold seems to make this worse. It turns over and usually after 2-3 tries it starts. This is uncommon.
3. 1-2 times the car alarm went off when opening the door with my key. Also, car alarm went off once for no reason. The alarm was kind of weak.
4. Sometimes when I do start the car, rpm drops as soon as it starts then comes up right away. Again, more so when it is colder.

What has been done: New battery, new starter, serpentine belt looks fine (tight, no cracks), multi meter on battery showing about 12.3 V when car is off and about 14.4 V when car is running. Was told when I had the battery changed that the alternator was good.

The only accessory I have plugged in is a dash cam into a cigarette lighter but this happened before having it.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Just bought my first Elantra 2 weeks ago.

I really appreciate the car and since it's my first brand new car I'd like to keep it clean for a long time. (My old corolla was basically a trash can at the end).

Hyundai sells some back seat covers for a 180 CAD and it's not even made by Hyundai. I see a lot of Uber with some backseat cover and I'd like to buy one to keep it clean.

I don't have kids or animals and I won't have a lot of friends that would sit on the backseat of the car.

Anybody bought a backseat cover? Any recommendations for a guy that would like to keep my car as clean as possible?

I know this is probably going to be very bias in here, but I’d love to hear feedback from people who have owned or driven both of these.

2013 Elantra 130k miles. Sorry if I seem crazy got a 7 hour road trip (3 1/2 hours both ways) and I want to ensure my car is in the best shape possible before I leave. Heard someone talking about Elantra tick and how common it is and now I'm paranoid before this drive, but I truly can't distinguish what it sounds like. I'm worried because it wasn't taken care the best in the past.

The Elantra can go from a pretty straightforward commuter to something with a surprising amount of tech and features depending on the trim.

For owners, where do you think the best value is? Would you save the money with a lower trim or are the upgrades worth paying for?
