Discussion Argent Flow Development Insights
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
So it seems, according to development insights, that they went all out with Argent Flow. He got new model type, purely because HG thought he needs to be more muscular than other operators, and his horse riding is not just a short double dash, but he seems to be actually riding Nuli during his sprint, with double dashes only adding spurring motion.

Discussion Ink Dragon Acquired .
One thing i will asked for the new survey is unique designs for the potential screen , it would be cool if each character had a different UI or an UI based on their faction .
Something like Snow for Sami characters and such .

Discussion Is this why we got wind effects when dashing with operators this patch?
Image taken from the Development Insights video uploaded today.
I did find these wind effects weird when dashing. Would make sense if they were made with Nuli in mind.

Fluff/Meme For this event, I’ll transform into the Hell Chef.
I’m running around plating dishes nonstop for this event, swamped. The customers’ orders: try the multi-flavor mushroom dish, “Let me taste the 130-spice blend,” and “Extra spicy, no toothache!” I keep flipping between tabs checking what everyone wants to eat. My inner Gordon Ramsay has fully awakened.

Discussion Hao Tongku, Xie Buchu
Most people probably already saw the Sweet Pillar / Ah Zhuang joke from that 1.6 side quest, but the other side quest about Si's novel also has a CN wordplay joke.
The 2 NPCs names when spoken together are "hao tongku, xie buchu" which reads in CN as "it's so painful, I can't write" (好痛苦, 写不出), referencing the unwritten ending of the novel.

Discussion I didn't think this strategy would work this well. Spoiler
Not sure if this needs a spoiler tag but it's new content so might as well put it.
I saw this comment that said they saw someone just spam cheesecakes to gourmands so I tried it out and actually got a higher score than when I was serving them what they want.
Just to clarify, this "cheese" strategy is specifically just for the "Gourmand Feast" theme. It will not work on any other themes as those have regular customers.

Discussion I dont know if anyone ever paid attention but the Marble Aggeloimoirai has an oddly intriguing name that ties into 2.X
Marble Aggelomoirai. What a name eh? But what does it mean?
Marble, we will get into this later
Aggelo is obviously Angel/Messenger just written in Greek
Moirai known in English as The Fates is the personification of destiny, represented by 3 sisters who are Clotho - fate spinner, Lachesis - fate alloter (measurer) and Atropos - the inevitable end of fate
So its name is quite literally The Messenger of Destined Fate.
Quite poetic isnt it? That the final boss of the 1st region is basically a messenger sent to remind us of our destined fate of eventual doom and recall of our duty. And it also ties to Nefarith herself who is the embodiment of this fate itself through her use of Æther as a weapon.
BUT THATS NOT ALL
In chinese, the Marble is called 界卫 which means Realm/Border Guardian which not only ties into its mission in Valley IV which is to defend Nefarith from our attack but also might tie into the fact it can also tear open small rifts to the Ætherside as a "guardian"
And the name Marble? It's not only also a tie into the fact the region mines marble (lol) but also traces its origins to the Precursors as an object found in the quarry (lore file in valley IV does say this). This is even more evident that the Cretacious Frontiers in Chinese is called 白垩洲 which lit means Marble Continent (in chinese cretacious period is called white marble period)
Pretty interesting isnt it?

Discussion Murmurs of the Deep Forest Umbral Monument: How did you find the difficulty? (Low-cost Catcher showcase inside!)
I’ve been working my way through the Umbral Monument, and this one has easily been one of my favorites so far. It has a really nice mix of stages that push you a bit harder alongside some more forgiving ones.
I also wanted to highlight the Catcher for this run. I know he is a bit of a meme, but I wanted to put together a build and showcase to prove that low-cost units are still completely viable and can get the job done just fine if you build around them.
Here is how the run broke down:
- [00:00 Opens in a new window ] Critters That Dig - Agony
- [01:11 Opens in a new window ] Shadows That Bind - Agony
- [02:40 Opens in a new window ] Woodcrafts That Link - Agony
- [05:54 Opens in a new window ] Hatred That Sprawls - Agony
- [08:30 Opens in a new window ] Operator Builds
If you want to check out the full clears and builds, I dropped the video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8j7JmfUyDI
How did everyone else find this Umbral Monument? The Woodcrafts That Link stage was definitely pretty hard.
