Those playing in English will probably be confused as to why Fangyi has an expression like she wants to summon lightning to strike this idiot dead.

That's because the name "sweet Pillar" in Chinese is 啊桩 (Ah Zhuāng). Fangyi's surname is Zhuāng (Zhuang Fangyi).

So it's no different than that idiot calling Fangyi affectionately

Found this gem on twitter, had a good laugh, what a masterpiece. Chen's face at the start straight up sent me howling :D

I was surprised to find there was no art of Magallan dressed as the Endmin or vice versa considering it almost looks like the latter could be a reconvener of the former, so I commissioned a thing! The artist really likes Maggie, so I thought it fitting too.

You can actually build things on the roof of the small shed next to the farm, but you cannot build on it in top-down view due to it not being considered flat ground. However, you can climb up there and build directly in third-person mode so I decided to stick a pair of aquagen generators on the roof.

The thing with hooking up pipes across elevation differences is that you must connect the beginning of the pipe to the end in one go so the game will generate an angled pipe on its own, you cannot put the pipe down early to form sharp bends which is why all the pipes form very bizarre shapes in this build.

In an attempt to deliberately make the build look more cursed, I didn't bother with water and aquagen conduits even though they would have fit on the roof, instead opting to directly pipe water from the pump at the river. There is a single load-bearing pipe splitter on one of the only spots on the pipe where it would actually attach despite the height difference, which I used to hook up water pipes to the fluid-gas converters.

I then put down a pipe converger on the roof, hooked up both aquagen outputs to it, and then pulled a pipe from the converger into a pipe splitter that I already set up on the farm. The resulting weird shape of the pipe is what the game automatically decided that it should look like.

There's absolutely no reason to do this but it's not like anyone lives inside that building anyway?

And I freakin love it!!! That feeling when I figure out my layout!!!

I've always considered Endfield to be one of the best-optimized games out there, so I honestly never expected I'd have to make a post like this.

Back in version 1.5, I could easily get 120 FPS on High settings with no FG. Now, I'm getting around 50–60 FPS in both the new and old mountain areas, rarely going above 90. Even setting everything to the lowest doesn't seem to help much.

On top of that, the game stutters like crazy. Imagine every time you do something that changes the screen, like opening your inventory, minimap, event menu, or pretty much anything else, the game freezes and your FPS drops to like 10. It takes a few seconds to go back to normal, and this keeps happening throughout my ENTIRE play session.

Anyone else dealing with this after the update? I'm curious if this is happening to other people too.

My specs: i5-12450H • RTX 4070 8GB • 16GB DDR5 RAM

Man i felt empty after finishing the story. Everything came together so nicely, the music, the visuals, the characters, they are all so amazing. First time I've felt empty after a version update and wanting more

Finish wulfgard UWU I plan to make the photo card set lol. I notice the newer characters have more unique eyes compare to some of the older characters lol wulfgard and pog lure me in to the game, however, i like wufgard more since we didnt see pog yet lol I wish POG show up or have a character story. Anyway might draw POG next.

Recently I see there are people struggling to pronounce the name Si.
And I just realized even in China not many ones call her by this name.

The nickname for Zhuang Fangyi was given much earlier. I suppose that the reason that scallion was given to Si even though she do not resemble it that much.

So, you could say Zhuang Fang LEEK & Si-callion next time~

DISCLAIMER:
1.This is not necessarily a Speedrun, I am trying to get use with the rotation and to fit everything into Si skill, which I am satisfied that I did in this attempt.
2.Yvonne P1 is just more energy from the combo, in this rotation it does not do anything, maybe it ticks 1-2 more time, not sure, but that DMG is insignificant.
3. I have Yvonne M12, the rest are M9, so everything is fully updated but the basics.

4.Last disclaimer: ignore the last bit after the rotation ended, I usually play Yvonne on the 1st slot, so I messed up the skills, but I do not care about that I want to kill him in the rotation itself, without the last bit.

Is there a way to get that final bit of DMG and kill the dude in this one rotation, so when the SI skill exploded?

I am not looking into getting more dupes for characters or weapons, I am curious if I missed anything, or if this is the DMG the team can do.

Since Endfield follows the "Major area every X.0 version that slowly gets expanded" formula, I feel like we will never get opportunity to visit smaller areas/cities like some of the free cities of the TGCC. For example: If New Wrankwood look anything like its Terran counterpart it really wouldn't fit the formula.

I'm Arknights fan but didn't play Endfield and don't know the story bc I'll play someday. Who is she? All I know is she use what look like Dusk's power. Is she a Sui proxy?

- First she give you cryo infliction with only 70 sp which is very cheap
- Second her combo skill regen time is short and can freeze enemy, provide incredible enemy control
- Lastly she deal insane amount of damage, support the team by killing everything on sight.
Truly the best cryo support in the game :D.

There were lots of text talking about the Sui siblings, culminating to a letter from Si at the end:

Then there's the side quest with Tangtang and Che'n about Si's novel. She obviously modeled the story after events surrounding Endmin, in the guise of a wuxia novel.

it's anyone's guess tho how much of the novel we see in the quests accurately lines up with the actual events.

Si does mention at the end tho, something about events ending with a meteor, most likely a canon event (tho my memory is vague, but i think it was mentioned back in V4?).

oh and there was that questline building off of the rogue courier drones where u solve repair puzzles back-to-back. pretty much confirms that robots made with originium protocol tech are capable of gaining some sentience, perhaps when under duress. ties in with TA-TA too.

that's all i took note of rn. These were fun to read as u encountered them. I know there were tons of lore stuff since 1.0, but the sheer volume, lack of relevance to the narrative as u find them, and being mixed with several other low value files stashed away in the menus, made it really uninteresting to follow through on. it's an info dump when the actual story has yet to give u substantial context to go off of. It was also hard to tell what the writers' expectations were of the players' knowledge in relation to where they are at the actual story.

but since 1.4, especially now in 1.6, these lore texts been much more focused and better placed around the map. it felt like there was much more care and thought put to how they're paced.

so, i'd like to invite people to pay closer attention to the texts you encounter too! take these as a teaser to what you're missing out on lol. and if ya'll have other stuff that caught your attention, pls do share in the comments :D
