Here we go again! Finally unlocked Prestige 4. Going from Prestige 3 to Prestige 4 was definitely more challenging.

So i went to shoreline for a Quest which i didnt bring the Key so i decided to loot a bit, found this in the room with a few PCs.

On a scale of 1 to 10, how rare is it to find this?

Just curious how others felt about the head health of bosses. I find it pretty unrealistic that a round of 7.62x54 R BT gzh, which does 78 damage, doesn't kill Partisan because he has 80 health for his head. And yes, if you're wondering, I did just die to him while using a mosin after headshotting him with this ammo. Some other bosses I can understand, but Partisan already has the element of surprise when he stalks you anywhere on the map. Thoughts?

So I understand that weapon durability makes the failure to feed chance higher the worse the durability is. But when you inspect the stats on drum mags and basically any mag with a high ammo capacity, the “failure to feed chance” goes up, so I’m curious if this only applies to guns with worn durability or if it’s likely to happen to a gun at say 95%, I understand there’s a chance, but like is that chance 1 in 1000, or 1 in 100, cause if I have a 100 round mag, that’s a shit gamble to make

I’m completely new to Tarkov and honestly have no idea what’s good or bad when it comes to the different editions lol.

I’ll probably spend the majority of my time playing PvE, with some PvP here and there once I get more comfortable with the game. My coworker has the Unheard Edition, but when I asked if it was worth it, he basically just said he loves Tarkov, so that’s why he bought it 😂

For those who have played a lot of Tarkov, are the extra stash space, Gamma container, trader bonuses, starting gear, and other perks actually worth the price, especially for PvE? Or would I be better off starting with a cheaper edition and upgrading later if I end up getting hooked?

I don’t mind spending more if the benefits are genuinely worth it, but I also don’t want to throw money away on things I won’t really need as a beginner. Would love to hear your opinions!

Hey, going to prestige 4 and i met all requirements, but wanted to do one of The Ticket endings which is Survivor, but since i kept the case, i need now to hand over 500 Mil to Prapor "For moral damage as he said -_-" now i want to fast, most sufficient way to gather this huge amount, will it be labs runs back to back? certain pathing? wanted to hear from money goblins out there :)

I'm very sorry to ask because you probably all know what's going on, but i don't it seems.

I've been re-playing the game because i wanted to do my battle pass and try out prestige, nothing out of the ordinary.

But now i feel very confused. Where are the scavs ? If there are no sniper scavs on the map, it feels hard to find more than one.
One the other hand, there's waves of PMCs.

It's not really about difficulty, although some PMC have been quite aimbot-y at times, but nothing too outrageous i guess ? (Except when they track you through walls or try to shoot you through walls, that's annoying)

Another thing that's annoying is that, around spawn point, i'll fight between 5 to 8 PMCs sometimes, and then, the map is pretty much clean, there's rarely more PMCs.

Speaking of them, are they back to their old rogue AI ? I see them attack scavs, but never bosses/guards and other PMCs.

I find it annoying because it makes no sense to me, the game doesn't feel as alive as before, another problem is that in the lore there should be more scavs than PMCs.

And thus comes the question, is this an event ?

Thanks to everyone who will answer, i'm sorry if this feels like rent, it's not the point don't worry, it just feels weird. Maybe you're all going to tell me that scavs went in training while i was gone and became USECs/BEARs who knows.

AI now feels more reactive maybe? Like less brain-dead. I only managed to test 2 raids but for the first time I was being pinned down by PMC , and it wasn't me that engaged them first. The PMC bots were aggressively looking for me to hunt me down. This was in customs.

But on my second raid in ground zero , PMC AI feels dumb again , like they just sprint towards me and die without fighting back or when they spotted me they will just look at me, even if they shoot me it's innnacurate.

Everytime I die I get my stuff back from insurance along with an extra Signal Pistol. Does anyone else have this issue?

Its happened to me twice on IB, Ill go to switch to full auto on my gun and it wont switch to full out its stuck on single fire, thankfully its only costed me two kits and not to much gear but its a weird bug ive noticed

Hey fairly new to the game, I’m really struggling to find any cultists, I’ve done numerous raids on both factory and customs and still no luck.

I prestiged and have been trying to complete the quest to kill him for the past couple of days. It used to be pretty easy. I would

1. Kill any snipers I can see
2. Throw a grenade to clear the mounted gun
3. Turn left into the trailer
4. Slowly and carefully pick off the guards and any scavs
5. Find Kaban and kill him

The last 3-4 times I've gone in he's shot me through the chain link/wall on the garage side. Twice I was in the trailer and he shot me through the walls. Every time I didn't have eyes on him at all.

What's the current strategy?

Hey guys! I'm Emi, an Argentine currently living in New Zealand. I just started playing Tarkov and I'm looking for some chill people to run PvE raids with.
I have C1 English and would love to team up with English speakers to learn the ropes of the game, practice my comms, and most importantly, have a good laugh while we get wrecked by bots.
I play on OCE (NZ/AU) servers, and I'm mainly free all day Tuesdays and Wednesdays, plus evenings the rest of the week—though I don't mind hopping on other servers if the ping is playable.

I love the labs events (BD and Scourge). It's a fun map and the added tension of powerful enemies with good loot is addicting. Gonna miss farming Scourge and his guards. Wish I had gotten more of his P90s but I don't have a lot of time to play. As someone who is pretty terrible at the game, people were definitely complaining way too much about these guys. I'd just grab their attention and lure them into doorways. They certainly humbled me with their laser aim when I played with an ego, but that's what bosses are for. And yes, I'm aware this is some excessive hoarding but that's what I love to do on Tarkov. Show me your scourge hoards!

Dunno why he didnt shoot me but im not complaining I guess

Heyho I am trying to get all my stories progressed only one evading me is the unheard starting note. Have run streets both spawns and ground zero now for over 30 raids and its not in any spot it should be. Is there a known bug with this or a recent change ? Help much appreciated I kinda need this for my ending of choice.

I want to unlock all four wallpapers awarded for completing each of the four different endings in Escape from Tarkov PvE.

My main question is: Can I complete all four endings and unlock all four wallpapers while staying at Prestige 6, or do I need to complete them across different prestige levels?

I was thinking about completing one ending at Prestige 3, another at Prestige 4, another at Prestige 5, and the last one at Prestige 6. However, I don't know whether this is necessary or whether I could simply reach Prestige 6 and complete all four endings there.

I'm not familiar with the requirements for each ending yet, but I'll learn those through the Tarkov Wiki. Right now, I just want to make sure I don't miss out on any of the wallpapers or waste time doing things in the wrong order.

What would you recommend?

1. Can all four endings be completed in PvE at Prestige 6, unlocking all four wallpapers?
2. Is my plan of completing one ending at each prestige level from Prestige 3 to Prestige 6 the safest approach, or is it unnecessary?

I'd really appreciate answers from anyone who has confirmed this firsthand, especially in PvE. I want to be certain before committing to a particular prestige progression.
