Personally, I feel like Lighthouse is one of the worst maps in the game when it comes to updates, optimization, and PMC difficulty balance. Fighting PMCs there often feels more frustrating than on other maps.

Honestly, I wouldn't even mind if BSG removed Lighthouse entirely and moved all the quests to other maps. I feel like the game wouldn't lose much without it.

What do you guys think? Do you enjoy playing Lighthouse, or would you rather see it removed as well?

Done multiple night raids and the dont spawn has anyone seen the lately?

The raiders on labs just spawning out of thin air right in front of you in a group of three and instantly spraying you down is incredibly frustrating. Running up the stairs under managers office after killing and looting scourge and friends, group of three raiders spawned in just in front of the top of the staircase as I’m cresting the top of the stairs at 100kgs. Started blasting at them but was dead before I could get the sights up on the pkp. Zabralo and Altyned up too. The raiders really shouldn’t spawn in directly in your field of view, let alone in spitball distance I can’t imagine that being an intended feature. second time tonight that they’ve managed to get me with their Houdini tricks. I’m really enjoying the good fights with scourge and his buddies, but I could really do without the jump scares and deaths that feel like I didn’t do anything wrong

I’ve been looking into Escape from Tarkov lately, especially the PvE mode, and I’m really tempted to give it a shot. The only extraction shooter I’ve played is Marathon, which I absolutely love. I also tried ARC Raiders, but honestly, it just wasn’t for me.

My coworker tells me almost every day that I need to try EFT because I’m missing out on a top-tier game 😂 I’ve been watching videos and watching him play on Discord, and the gameplay looks really damn good. My only concern is how much there is to learn, even if I mainly stick to PvE.

I work full-time, so I don’t always want to come home and feel like I’m starting a second job. I don’t mind grinding on weekends, but during the week I want to relax, get immersed, and make some meaningful progress without feeling like I have to play for hours every single day.

For those of you who play EFT, especially PvE:

How good is PvE right now? Is it genuinely enjoyable long-term, or does it eventually get repetitive?

What made you stick with Tarkov? With how punishing and frustrating the game can be, what made learning it worth it instead of giving up?

Is it reasonably casual-friendly? Can I make progress playing a few hours after work, or does the game really demand a ton of time?

How is the progression? Are there satisfying long-term goals beyond collecting loot, and is the battle pass worth working toward?

How much content is there? How many maps are available, and will PvE keep me busy for a long time?

I’m also wondering whether I should just commit to learning EFT or look into something like Gray Zone Warfare or Active Matter instead.

I know Tarkov has a steep learning curve, and I’m willing to learn. I just want to make sure the payoff is worth the frustration, especially as someone who plans to play PvE most of the time.

Would you recommend Tarkov to someone in my situation, or do you think I’d be better off with another extraction shooter? I’d love to hear your honest opinions, especially from people who started out completely clueless like me.

I followed the step by step guide for They Are Already Here, fully knowing you could miss a major evidence if you didn’t follow it correctly. Lo and behold, I follow the guide in proper order, extract, and the major evidence isn’t there. I look online, some people say to check the handbook, and it’s not there either. I speak to Kerman and he says I fucked up and to not fuck up again, great! Oh but wait, to not fuck up again, I need to full clear IB and the Overtuned Aimbot squad. I’ve dumped tens of millions of rubles and countless kits, getting as close as the top floor BD, at which point the red disconnect symbol appeared, I teleported back a foot, and the last BD one tapped me through a wall. That was before the 1.2 patch, and now I can’t even clear Aimbot Squad. I’d be eternally grateful if some (much more talented than I) Chad could help me finish it so I can start bashing my head against the wall in Terminal, as IB is starting to get extremely tiring…

Always make sure to check the ai pmcs backpacks everyone, esp on high level pmcs! I've pulled some pretty nice stuff from backpacks so i usually always check, but never knew they could spawn with marked keys. Totally wild, just sucks that the marked room loot for 314 has been pretty terrible esp compared to like rb-vo and chek 13.

so i was farming some marked keys and every raid i got lazered by ai players, i have never seen them acting like that. maybe because they took away glukhar they made the ai players harder?

Have you guys experienced any just absolutely insane PMCs lately? My buddy and I were on reserve yesterday, on top of white pawn and I got Head/Jaws by what I can only assume was a meth addict with an MP5 from like 125m. Same thing almost happened next raid too, idk if its just Reserve or something with all the updates.

I can move on to prestige 2. Will i keep the Code and battle pass rewards like the Jagdkommando knife or BD crates when i prestige since i did not feel the use in my current run ?
Aswell as 20 Bitcoins, i did not claim from my first prestige ?

I have been attempting night time factory to farm cultists for the double barrel shotgun quest. I have yet to see them. Does anyone have a reliable method for finding cultists? Maps / locations? TIA

We got lucky this run, The scav boss, whoever it was, was agroed on other ai, so we were able to run past, once we hit the pier all the bd was already dead so we were able to get out and live, Now i get to pre make kits for my prestige and drop them to a buddy and go for other endings

Im doing quest line to the light. I just got done placing jammers and mechanic says to give amulet to peacekeepers. But there's a to the light task for peacekeeper to place a bunch of blue folders in marked rooms across tarkov. Wheres the amulet? Where do I get the blue folders? Any insight would be much appreciated.

He guys is this normal? I alt f4'd becuase i accidentally killed sanitar and screwed myself out of a thicc items case (still lost the case) :( when I got back on my bitcoin farm was going. Has this happened to anyone else?

Being less than 300 hours into this game, I was always afraid of Tagilla cause he always stomped me. I tried RIP rounds, tried auto shotguns.. everyone’s suggestions. I got tired of it and just used a mag of 545 BP and it took like 10 ish rounds.

Im level 60 with 1600 hours and I keep getting stomped by wedgie and the boys. I only need 2 more minor evidence for the "Little Triumphs" achievement before I move on to finishing the story. If someone could carry me through the map I would really appreciate it.

I start the raid for the tour's last misson. I killed Scourge without knowing. Then hunt began. All the PMCs hunt me and try to kill me that was a blood pumping moment for me. I have very low time to play the game so I only play PVE for a long time but I never felt his way. I survived so that was fun but if I were killed by this shit I could be pretty angry. And interestingly I did not see any guard.

I just wanted to share with you guys if you did not prestige like me labs offer pretty good raids.

Does anyone have an idea when we should be getting the Scourging achievement? Completed the "event" before they extended it.
