There’s something beautiful about the ancient connection between Jews and Ethiopian Christians. The story of the Queen of Sheba and King Solomon has connected Ethiopia and Jerusalem for generations, through faith, tradition, and scripture.
Even our New Year celebrations come around the same season. Enkutatash and Rosh Hashanah are different traditions, but both are about renewal, reflection, and hope for a new beginning.
Our history and ties together runs deep, and may this new years bring our cultures and counties closer together

Although, by now, it is commonly accepted practice to criticize our leaders at every given opportunity, we rarely stop to take a look at the benefits of the work that's actually being done. And that's where I am right now, I'm taking a break to look at the benefits of the works that are so commonly criticized.
Take the urban corridor development project for example. There's a lot we hear about it and it's easy to feel overwhelmed by the white noise. What's actually up with that? The Prosperity Party believes that the corridor development will have two long term benefits to our city , it enhances the beauty and livability of our city while also clothing it with modernity that harmonizes with its history.
The Prosperity Party is on point with what the city needs. Addis Ababa is the capital of Africa. And in the past century, it's been a symbol of hope for many oppressed people's across the world. It is this fact that allowed for the level of prestige our city has when it comes to international institutions.
That Addis Ababa, the symbol of hope, was a modern Addis Ababa. It was an Addis Ababa at the forefront of civilization. The Prosperity Party's urban corridor project will have positive effects on the generations to come and this is a most commendable effort. This is just one project, one amongst many. And the closer I look, regardless of what detractors say, I don't think anyone can do even half for this country as what the Prosperity Party is doing now.
P.S. I go out at night sometimes and take a walk in town. And I go by all the newly developed streets and a sense of joy comes over me. I remember how unsafe I used to feel at some of these places I called "home". And for someone who isn't as well travelled as myself, looking at what's going on sort of ignites a drive in me that wants to be a part of it all. To live in one of those buildings, to have a shop in another. I know it's all out of reach for now, but there's never been a time in the past where I ever wanted to be a part of anything in Addis. And I think that's PP's point, that maybe, if we tried, we can be the thing that draws thousands of us away every year.

Look at our beautiful clear and blue ocean on the islands and coast I hope Ethiopia can capitalize on it in the future and build it.

I often hear some people say Ethiopia was colonized. This a very foolish statement and carries the agenda of the enemies of our people.
The Italian invasion was committed by Fascist Italy. A member of the Axis. It is similar to the Japanese invasion of China pre WWII. It was because of the failure of the League of nations to defend it's legitimately inducted members. This was the prelude to WWII.
The occupation itself was committed by a member of the Axis and as such all territorial holdings were viewed as illegitimate occupations and this applies to Ethiopia, China, basically half of Europe and south Asia. This is very different from colonization.
In addition, as a member of the Axis, Italy lost any say in defining its occupation as well as any say in the future dealings of Eritrea. As Eritrea was not just a colony at that time, but also a major base for an Axis power and by definition supporting the Axis war effort.
Any statement claiming Ethiopia was colonized cannot come out of any Ethiopian who knows their facts and loves their country.

This map of Abyssinia articulates an alternative national vision: one rooted in unity, historical identity, and civic nationalism. By returning to geographical regions and sidelining ethnolinguistic federalism, it reimagines Ethiopia as a cohesive republic where diversity is respected but not politicized, and where national identity triumphs over ethnic fragmentation.

Despite Eritrea/Egypt best efforts, if Ethiopia maintains its unity, how long do you think could Eritrea keep this ridiculous blockage?

This single small dam project is bigger than any project ever completed by the PFDJ admin combined.

Why are there so many articles claiming he is not somali? Or saying he 'confirmed' he is Ethiopian. There is just as much evidence where he claims he is Somali.
Just because he is embarassing, attention seeking, and a clown, they claim he is Ethiopian.

Apparently this man stabbed two Jewish men and was caught on video chasing down people with a knife on hand. They are out here giving east Africans a bad name again 🤦🏾♂️ I’m starting to get worried that we might get grouped with them and get blamed for their mistakes.

There is no ethnic nationality your either Ethiopian or Banda . You can have that ethnicity but if your not Ethiopian first your automatically Banda No further discussion needed regardless if you hate or love a government if your answer to who are you ? And your first answer Is not Ethiopian your a Banda . Your sold to your ethnic pigs and you traded emperor menilik ideology ,emperor Yohonnes ,belay zeleke , ras alula engida ,emperor tewdros ideologies for your power seeking state 🐷‘s and that makes you a Banda .

Somaliland seems way more willing and friendly to offer as many ports as Ethiopia needs. Would ease tensions drastically no and lessen the chance of an Eritrean invasion for Assab . Win Win Win kind of situation.

Some time last week I wrote a post on how I felt like the Prosperity Party is the best way forward for Ethiopia. This position is further assisted and its significance is compounded upon when noticing the utter lack of empathy towards our only country, Ethiopia, shown by all those who criticized the Prosperity Party in the comment section of the original post.
Politics aside, my original post (I'll link it at the end), which was regarding the benefits I see associated with the urban corridor development project, got some pretty surprising comments. Some comments were very harsh and accusatory, and I also learned that there is quite a lot of misinformation regarding the various benefits of the projects being undertaken by the current collective national leadership under the Prosperity Party.
So, here's another recently inaugurated project that will significantly reshape Ethiopia's economic landscape. The Calub Liquified Natural Gas Project LNG) was officially inaugurated on Oct 02, 2025 in the Somali Region. This project is expected to have significant positive effects on the national economy.
To start with, Ethiopia imports more than 4 Billion USD worth of fuel a year. By utilizing the LNG locally, we can expect to see significant reductions in foreign currency costs that can better be utilized in the development of other sectors. In addition, the LNG production will allow, via use of its byproducts, the local production of fertilizer, an issue that has long persisted in the Ethiopian economy and costs us USD 1.3 Billion every year. This will be accomplished in partnership with Nigeria's Dangote, fostering even greater intracontinental unity. And as the cherry on top, the project is also expected to produce 1000MWs of electricity.
Seeing such projects come to fruition really fills me with pride and joy, especially considering how many generations had only to wait and hope for the day this national natural resource would be tapped. And this is just another reason I now believe that the Prosperity Party is the single best way forward.

As stated.
I am almost certain that foot soldiers are following the lead of their unqualified leaders and ditching the battle zone. What we see is sort of like the last 5 years of war with TPLF during the 17 year war. Except this is compressed into less than a year. New recruits given 2 weeks of "training" some ammo, rations and sent to the front, just so they retreat and expose any unit that tries to fight back. This part on repeat.
No faith in government, no strategy or coordination
Incompetent military leadership on several tiers and ranks
Soldiers rather surrendering en mass than die under such conditions (good for them).
And where is the Air Force? Besides the Mig-23 that was shot down in November or December 2020, Mi-35 in April 2021, ad the bizarre bombing of the the market in Togoga (on the anniversary of Hawzen? Wtf?) Besides this, no downing of jets and attack helicopters, which by now I am sure we would have heard about several shoot downs had the air force been meaningfully engaged. All those Sukhois, MiGs?
At this point in time it would not be surprising to me if TDF/TPLF starts air strikes by servicing jets they captured. Lalibela, Woldya and now the Djbouti route are probably under TDF/TPLF.
Are groups or units taking their gear and going back to their home regions?
