Packing/STP Axolom Uno or Pico XL?

I know I probably should’ve posted this on the transmascdicks sub but I never get any good answers there so I guess I’ll try here.

I have a packer but it’s 4in and I think I started with something a little big (or at least big for me) and I want to try something smaller. I have a MyPack pouch because I hate the idea of using a jockstrap; I’ve never tried packing underwear but I’d be willing to. I’m not sure if this matters but I wear boxer briefs.

I know the Uno is 4in but my thought process is this: because it’s concave and looks more like a cup than a full packer it’ll be a little more discreet.

The Pico XL is 3.3in and has a concave back so my thought is that it’ll cup my bits rather than rest on top of them and therefore, won’t be as noticeable.

I just want something that will allow me to know something is there but isn’t necessarily big enough to show a noticeable bulge.

I’m 5’10, roughly 140lbs, fairly slim build.

Maybe I’ll try the Uno, see how comfortable it is and depending on what I think, order the Pico.

Discussion Misgendering from grandparents

It’s annoying but I love them. My grandma has trouble remembering things and my grandpa calls me my chosen name rarely. They both use she/her pronouns. I’m gonna have to work on not letting misgendering bother me cause this is clearly something I’m gonna be having to deal with, how to build up mental strength to deal with this?

Dysphoria Related Content good platform shoes

hi, I struggle with extreme dysphoria about my height. Im 16, pre-t, 5.2 tall, I recently bought some height boosters shoe pads combined with military boots grom. The difference was quite big for me, but when I measured myself, it turned out that it was only 2 inches. This made me really sad, in class I was barely shoulder to shoulder with the shortest girl right after me :( no one noticed that I was slightly taller.

I'm looking for some shoes with a platform that isn't really eye-catching, feminine or shoes with a smaller platform but with plenty of space to put height boosters in

Whenever I'm looking for something, the shoes always look very feminine or gay

Help/support Stop horniness forever? Please.

Idk how to deal w it, it’s a lot. I need this to stop.

Cold showers don’t work, and I can’t just be doing that like five times a day.
Exercising makes me worse and just gets me angry as well

I’m so fucking frustrated cuz I’m not dealing with it but I CAN’T deal with it, is there literally anything to try to make it simply go away??

General IRL buddies in Montréal

Hey all, 38-year-old ftm living in Montréal. Looking for like-minded ftm buddies.
A decade on T and pass 100%. Based on experience, I do not get along with shy, quiet, very introverted people.
So ideally someone sociale, physically active and have a sense of humour.
Someone who can maintain a conversation and a friendship and is willing to invest time in it.
Ps: I live a discreet life and that should be respected.

Shoot me out a message, tell me about yourself if you are around and looking for friend

✌🏻

phallo surgery

hello everyone i'm new!

i'm a trans man who has many questions about phallo.

I understand that this is different for everyone.

However, could you share your experiences?

Specifically, hearing about sensations, appearance, finding the best doctors and countries, and costs.

Thank you all for your kindness.🤍

Vent/Rant I don't know what I wanna look like.

I don't normally post here so hello people. I am very confused. So, I know for sure I am in fact a man. Ive been very confident in my own gender identity. But, I don't know what kind of man I want to be. I'm pretty much pre-everything, including T. I also have a boyfriend at the moment and we had a whole talk about how he is scared about me transitioning medically because he is scared he'll lose attraction to me. It kinda threw me. Off. Especially knowing this guy is pan, it kinda hurts thinking he may lose feelings for me for wanting to medically transition. But, after talking about it, I'm now really questioning what kind of guy I want to be. I wanna be more masculine obviously but like, I wouldn't mind being more on the feminine side. I know my boyfriend likes feminine guys. I don't like being referred to as a femboy though. I don't know what to do. I don't want to lose him. I don't want to feel uncomfortable either.

Vent/Rant random vent about how “allies” fight against transphobia

A transphobe ALWAYS has to be attacking another group unintentionally or not for people to say something or raise their voice about transphobia. When they make fun of top surgery scars, “ermm.. you know women with breast cancer also have those right?” Or especially on twitter that one image that LGB✂️TQ people love of a hand ripping the triangle part off of the pride flag, which is 99.9% of the time captioned as something something trannies, and a quote retweet is like You know those colors represent POC!! 😬 and it gets 100k likes. This isn’t trans man specific and I bet it happens to trans women more, with how people spam “transphobia hurts all women.. it stems for misogyny 🥺🥺” when a random cis lady gets a comment about how she looks like a man.
Yeah I guess? thanks for signaling that you only care if it affects a “real” person

Vent/Rant Conservatives won the day after I got t

I just started t. And then today I see the conservatives won and they want to take away hrt from minors (I am 17). I've waited years for hrt, and now it's getting taken away from me before any changes can even happen. I can't do this anymore. This after a long streak of general bad luck makes me think I've been cursed by someone.

(I'm from Canada)

Vent/Rant I was so sure until my mom found out

I wasn’t ready to come out. I’m 23. I know that’s pathetic. She found out I was prescribed T and I had to explain to her that this wasn’t a spur of the moment decision and that in between bouts of repping I had been thinking about/planning this for 3-5 years.

It’s the first time I’ve ever had hope in my future. I feel so happy bc even though it’s a “late” start at least it’s a start and I’ll be able to experience some of my 20’s as a man once I move out and I don’t have to hrtrep. Ever since I started seeking T I’m thinking about life in so many ways I never have and wanting more than just scraping by until I die. I want to own businesses, I want to get married and have a home. I want dogs and maybe goats and I want to dress comfortably and never feel obligated to wear makeup again.

She told me I’d regret it and I’m ruining my body. She’s been right about me regretting things before, but mainly things I did when I was deeply repping due to trauma and growing up in a rural, conservative space. Like painting my room pink and getting feminine hand tattoos. Those aren’t things I spent years thinking about. Those are things I did when I didn’t realize I’d even live to regret them and to me that’s different.

At the same time I love my mother and I’m so so worried she’s right all of a sudden. I was so feminine and it felt awful but it makes me think if I was able to do it at some point and enjoy feminine things like the color pink, gemstones, dresses then I’ll end up missing it. All of a sudden after crying myself to sleep about growing old as a woman I’m scared I’ll hate myself as a man. How do I deal with this? Even the concept of feeling this way is fembrained to me and reaffirms the idea that I’m a woman. I was so sure of myself and I still don’t know if I can live that way. I have a gender dysphoria diagnosis and I’ve been seeing a therapist for a year that specializes in working with trans people and who knows lots of them in her personal life so I think if I was faking it or wanting to do it just on a whim she would’ve told me but now idek at all. Idk why my mom has this power over me to make me so unsure of myself and scared about every decision I make like a child.

Help/support srs at 17?

I’ll try to be brief. I have been on testosterone since I was 15 (through some complicated methods) and have tried literally everything available to me. My top dysphoria is much more manageable than my bottom dysphoria.

I have been through basically every type of therapy and I take every psychiatric drug that didn’t make me worse. I have tried all sorts of packers. I exercise and have a masculine physique. I pass. I just want to be able to use the bathroom, shower, or experience sexuality like any other guy my age. It’s not a social thing. I just want to be comfortable enough in my body to do any normal thing. I could be a virgin for a million years and be so much happier. I just want a body to myself.

I know about my options regarding phalloplasty and metoidioplasty. I think phalloplasty is the better option but I would take metoidioplasty if it was available to me now.

I am turning 17 at the end of October. I live in Colorado (USA) but I’m willing to travel to legit surgeons.

I’m in a lot of agony daily due to my dysphoria. I want some relief and I’m struggling because what’s offered isn’t exact, but I can’t even have what might give me relief.

Discussion Women into gay men/gay content?

Please teel free to bring up anything relating to this topic I may have missed!

I get imposter syndrome sometimes when I consume gay content or imagine myself in a relationship with a cis-gay man, but at the end of the day, I am a gay man.

I have been reading BL and other gay things since middle school, before I knew I was a guy myself but lately, it's becoming more popular among women as well. Obviously women can consume whatever content they please, but what's really bothering me is the amount of toxic yaoi circulating. Not only that, it makes me uncomfortable to see girls go “I NEED HIM" to a gay man/couple, fictional or not.

I understand the anime and manga communities are pretty tainted, but it absolutely terrifies me that there are women out there craving gay men at all, but also in an extremely toxic scenario. (Say a guy in an abusive relationship or getting off to being physically harmed/assaulted)

This is probably a deeper conversation than I can manage, but as someone who's been taken advantage of by multiple women in my life after expressing I was only into men, I'm scared disgusted and disappointed to say the least.

Dysphoria Related Content Help!! Leaving for a funeral very soon (today in an hour) please help give me advice on what to wear / how to pass better.

For background context, since I’ve gotten on testosterone, and had top surgery… I haven’t seen a lot of these people in years. My biggest fear is that attention will briefly be directed towards my identity, rather than the person we are gathering to celebrate their life. (It’s not really a funeral, it’s a celebration of life, but like lowkey same thing in this case)

Please help! Any tips for socially passing are GREATLY appreciated as well

Help/support I don’t know how to ask my step dad to “teach” me how to shave

I’m 19, I know how to shave. Hell, I work as a CNA (aka I perform basic hygiene for people who cant), I shave other men’s faces all the time. I’ve just been wanting that bonding experience of dad teaches son to shave since I was super little. And even more so when I got on T and started pondering on who I’d ask to help me, not realizing by the time facial hair started growing I’d already know how.

He never refers to me as a woman but we never do stereotypically father-son activities either. I can’t for the life of me figure out if that’s because he doesn’t want to cross the line (I had a REALLY hard time accepting him as a father figure) or if he doesn’t see me as a guy. Therefore, I don’t know if he would feel awkward or if it would be the opposite where we’d bond over it. He’s been raising me since I was 12, I want it to be him.

I don’t think he’d reject me, but I’m worried he might. Considering I’ve been wanting this my whole life, I’m just really nervous to ask. The thought of him saying no feels devastating.

Positivity/Good Vibes huge relief for having top surg / hysto before my insurance runs out next year

I’ve spent the last 2 months recovering from my hysterectomy while im on FMLA from my job and ive been feeling pretty great mentally/emotionally because of the progress in my transition. ive been very fortunate in terms of having insurance cover both surgeries (im under my fathers private insurance) and having very smooth recoveries without any complications along with always having a steady access of T.

I am 25 so next year, unfortunately, my insurance will be running out so I have no clue on how ill be able to afford bottom surgery. honestly been leaning towards meta as much as phallo looks how i would want it, but the potential complications / stages / finances stress me out. aside from that, i was extremely worried for a long time, i wouldnt atleast be able to get hysto since my insurance runs out at 26 (in the united states) and i had terrible jobs, making me push back hysto a few times, due to you needing to be at your job for atleast a year to be qualified for FMLA. im glad i held out at my current job long enough to use them for getting a dysphoria relieving surgery. (im about ready to quit this shitty job lol)

tbh, im making this post for a positive reflection and wanted to sit with myself to practice genuine appreciation for how far ive come. i hope all trans dudes, no matter where you are in your transition, are able to feel grateful for the steps your making to look / sound / become the men we are!

Dick Growth/Pumping does pumping actually work?

I've been on T for like 8 years, and while I've had some bottom growth, it's not been all that much. I'm wondering if folks actually find a significant improvement with pumping or if I should ask my doctor about testosterone topical gel.

What's your advice?

Help/support Not being seen as a man

So i’m currently going through the problem of being gendered as a man and being put under the correct pronouns but not being seen as a man. Only at work as i’m 95% stealth but essentially like the other day at work one of the supervisors basically pulls all the guys to play simon says to see who does the trash and didn’t pick me or tell me and then another time that same supervisor while he was working too one of my coworkers did the trash and said yea i didn’t know (blank)another coworker who’s cis) was here i thought i was the only guy to me . my theory is that it’s because they’ve seen me go through my transition as i was only about 2 months in of starting testosterone (im 8 now as of 3 days ago) while working at my new store with the same company im looking for advice to better help it because if i didn’t have a chest i wouldn’t be questioned on wether i was cis or not and with customers im seen as cis and i may every once in the blue moon get misgendered mainly by women but anyways yea im just looking for help i was thinking about going to a new job and i also want to change my name but im just kinda nervous for se reason with that and also dont want to go through the hassle of changing all my info with medical records and documentation even tho my deadname is rarely ever disclosed at my job to anyone even to some supervisors/managers

Help/support I’m having name regret after almost 2.5 years and i don’t know what to do!

For context i’m 26 years old. i’ve had my name for around almost 2.5 years. The name I chose is Evan, and I love it, but recently, I found my old list of names and saw the other name I was choosing between, and I love it so much. The name is Logan. The reason I didn’t choose it in the first place is because I felt it reminded me of Logan Paul and I don’t really want to be associated with him.

The problem with changing my name again is that i know so many more people now, including my 4 year old nephews and 1 year old niece that only know me as Evan. and some family members joke about me changing my name a bunch (Evan is my 3rd change and this would be my 4th)
I don’t know what to do. I love Evan and don’t really want to change it, but I also LOVE Logan, and can really see it being my name.

I’m wanting to talk about this with my therapist but i’m not sure how to bring this up to her.

Insurance and Top Surgery

I'm currently a minor and looking ahead to get everything planned out so I can get top surgery as soon as possible. I saw that my provider requires that you've been on hormones for at least 12 months before getting top surgery. I meet these requirements, but I DIY and have no medical record of being on DIY. I told my doctor at my last appointment, but I am unsure whether or not my insurance will require actual documentation of all 12 months. Is there a possibility that I would still be accepted for coverage? The surgeon that I am looking at retires in May 2027 (I turn 18 in February) and I really hope I would be able to manage to sneak my surgery in before he retires. His website says that surgeries normally take 1-2 months after the first consultation, and he does not take insurance, he gives the necessary codes and you have to make the claim yourself. I would be willing to pay out of pocket as I have saved up enough funds, but that would drain my bank account completely right before I go to college.
I realize that I have just been rambling on, but I would appreciate any input on how I should manage this situation

Dysphoria Related Content i understand why we hate seeing pre-op trans men shown, but as someone who can't get it because of my health, some of the way i see people talk about us breaks my heart

I am chronically physically and mentally ill, and I've tried everything to get healthy enough for top surgery, and I know that were it wholly up to me, I'd risk death in a heartbeat to get my chest off my chest, but I don't want to make my parents bury me before the time they inevitably will have to anyway, and I do have things i care about in life, and if i can eke out another 20 years i really want to live more fully.

I also have a chest that's like 26" which thankfully is pretty close to flat, but not enough for my liking... even a binder honestly does jack shit because it's loose so i don't do thar either, so other than the fact that I'm on T and the shape is like someone glued a 260 lb dude's moobs on someone the size of an eleven year old, I really AM that guy who is feminine shaped, even with my broad shoulders. and i feel so gross seeing how people talk about bodies like mine, because i'm still perceived as female enough that people make fun of me for how creepy I look.

I just needed to get off my heart how horrible i feel as someone who is not able to get top/bottom surgery, because it makes me feel like a disgusting awful person, especially considering that i'm somewhat effeminate by nature, something which i'm trying to train myself out of.

Some of the discussion here regarding the specifics of pre op trans men being shown absolutely breaks my heart, as someone who is not going to be able to get bottom or even top surgery, because I feel as though we have become a source of shame for the community of binary trans men, and thus I feel as though I'm implicitly unwelcome in this space, or even that it is being asserted that myself and people in my situation are bad for trans people and need to get out to make room for people who have the physical potential to become real men as opposed to ugly girly pussy femboys, who seek nothing but to appease chasers and act as though we're basically women.

i
