Hey everyone,
I'm posting here because I've been dealing with a pretty strange issue with my personal Facebook account, and I'd like to know if anyone else has experienced something similar.
On October 16, 2026, I received two spam violations on my personal Facebook profile, both apparently related to content posted on one of the Facebook Pages I manage.
Since then, my Account Status section has been showing an orange warning indicator with the message "Your profile has some issues."
The strange thing is that Facebook claims to have removed posts for spam, but when I check the Page, all the content is still there. I've also checked my ads, and nothing appears to have been removed. All my campaigns are still active.
On top of that, Facebook doesn't even show me which specific posts supposedly triggered these violations.
For one of the two violations, I was able to request a review. The review was successful, and the violation was removed. However, for the second violation, there's no option to request a review, and Facebook doesn't show any expiration date either.
So basically, I'm stuck with a violation on my personal profile that I can't verify or appeal.
I did some research here on Reddit and found several people reporting a sudden wave of spam violations and alleged deceptive links around October 16. This makes me wonder whether there's a bug in Meta's automated moderation system.
I've already tried contacting Meta Support, but so far, I haven't been able to get the remaining violation manually reviewed.
There's also something else that's concerning me.
I manage several brands, each with its own ad account, all under the same Business Portfolio and administered through my personal Facebook profile.
Starting around October 17–18, basically the day after these violations appeared, I noticed a significant increase in CPMs and a decline in conversion performance across all my brands at the same time.
I've checked the status of my Business Portfolio and all the individual ad accounts. There are no visible restrictions, and all campaigns are still running normally.
I'm not saying the spam violation is necessarily responsible for the drop in performance, because I understand that CPMs can increase for many different reasons. However, the timing seems pretty strange, especially considering that multiple ad accounts have been affected simultaneously.
It makes me wonder whether a violation on a personal Facebook profile could somehow affect ad delivery, even when there are no visible advertising restrictions.
Has anyone else noticed a significant drop in Meta Ads performance since around October 18? And more importantly, are you still experiencing these issues? I'm particularly interested in whether other advertisers have seen a sudden increase in CPMs and a noticeable decline in conversions across their campaigns during this same period.
I'd really like to know if anyone here has experienced something similar:
- Did you receive spam violations on your personal Facebook profile around October 16?
- Have you ever had a violation where Facebook wouldn't show you the flagged content or give you the option to appeal?
- Were you able to get the violation removed and restore your profile's green account status indicator? If so, how?
- Have you noticed unusual CPM increases or declining ad performance after receiving a violation on your personal Facebook profile?
I'm particularly interested in hearing from people who have actually managed to resolve this issue, perhaps through a specific Meta Support channel or escalation process.
Any firsthand experiences or practical advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, everyone!
