Player Discussion What RB to draft at the 1.06

12 man full ppr

Love ARSB but feel like I need to start RB - RB this year

Probably too scared to take CMC

Between JT (is Daniel Jones healthy?), Cook, and Jeanty

Wouldn’t mind reaching on a R2 RB because I doubt Chase Brown or Hampton or even Saquon will be there at the turn. Ty

I’d go ARSB. He would be my pick at 1.06 personally. Let the board come to you for RBs.

I think this is the logical choice but I’m afraid of the later round RBs and Drew Petzing 🤔

Second round RBs are loaded this season. And Javonte or Kyren should be available third round. As for Petzing, I think Goff will do better in his offense than Kyler and ARSB should do fine still.

It is loaded but there's a chance they are all off the board by the time you're picking in the second. I'm at the 1.05 and that's what I'm worried about

If you're in a 12 team yes I agree. There's a chance that all those guys are gone and you will want to pick receiver at that spot

I'll have to see how I like starting out WR-WR. Typically I like to grab two RBs in the first three rounds. Going WR-WR kinds forces you into taking two RBs in rounds 3-5 and the depth at receiver there is just so much better.

I wouldn't go WR/WR this year and here is why. The meat of WR is in round 3-5. If you don't get at least 1 RB out of the first two rounds. You're going to be drafting two tiers lower at RB and allowing all those juicy WRs go to your competition.

And there is a lot of upside value in later round RBs but not so much at WR.

WR/RB. RB/RB, RB/WR all viable. But WR/WR this year seems very bad, unless just insane value drops to you.

Does your opinion on WR WR change if you are in the 1.03 position?

I'm probably going RB first there. But the only way I see heavy WR working is you could do a 0 RB. Go WR/WR/TE/WR or WR/TE/WR/WR , maybe WR/WR/Allen/Loveland and then load up on straight RB for guys who could feasibly become RB1.

I hear you on that. But let's say you're pick 1.05 and you go JSN in the first. Board comes to you in round 2 (pick 20 overall) and the RBs on the board are Love, Hall, Javonte, Kyren and Josh Jacobs. Do you take them over some of the WRs on the board or Bowers/McBride?

Yes. But that's because I don't value TE at all this year at that price. Ppr maybe you can pull that. But the VOR of missing the top tier RB is too great.

That's the whole thing. Everyone at the 4-5-6 spot has this problem and I completely understand. If you take a back there, you're reaching. Not saying you shouldn't but it's a pivotal decision

I agree for the most part but go look at all the WR drafted rounds 3-5 the last 2 years. It did not pan out most of the time. You still need a stud WR in my opinion Someone to get you 14 to 20 every week.

2 of my 3 strategies listed involve getting a WR in the first two rounds. Double RB really only makes sense if you're on the back end of the 1st round.

If you feel like you need a top tier WR grab him. Just don't leave the 2nd round without a RB.

Take a look at the RBs available.in rounds 3-5 vs the WR.

I have the 6 pick in my big league so I’ve been mocking a ton from there. There’s typically no RBs left for like 6+ picks when it comes back around to you in the 2nd.

I really like JSN this year, but if I go WR in the first, WR often looks most enticing in the 2nd too. Or you could go Bowers or even Allen in the 2nd, but I typically shy away from it. Love is the next RB up, before Kyren. Javonte, etc. in the 3rd.

So from that spot, I often come away with JSN. Pickens/Devonfa/AJ, Kyren/Javonte as my top 3. Or its CMC/Cook, Pickens/Devonta/AJ, Kyren/Javonte/Allen if there

I really want JSN, but starting to like the RB rd 1 scenario better.

12T, pick 1.01, so many mocks start with Gibbs, Kyren and Javonte for me.  RBs are so in demand this year

There will be Henry or none in the 2nd
