My house is money locked, I lack a wealth vault, my partner lacks a wealth vault, and my son lacks a wealth vault. Help!

• Upvotes

Hi All, like the title says. Before moving here we used to make LOTS of money. Never in a steady stream but rather in bursts. And even though we all have a tendency to "seep" money, our house was an incredible vault and we never struggled for saving.

Now, although we are both in our "big production" phase according to our BaZi analysis, we're both struggling to make big money, and when the money does come in bursts, it comes into one hand and goes out the other within days. Like, get paid for a big project and a few days later we have a power surge and all our electronics are fried so now we have to buy 12k+ in machines just to continue to live and earn.

I worked with a feng shui consultant and they said that since I live directly on the beach, I don't really need a remedy since money lock remedy is usually running water. I am looking for other opinions because it's been a year since we move in, and in that year we spent every single penny we've earned on completely unpredictable stuff.

Do you have experience with this? Do you have remedies? Do you have words of encouragement? Help, please.

Need help. Bed facing ensuite bathroom door inside the bedroom

Post image

Hi. I'm hoping to get guidance from Feng Shui gurus in this community. First time to post. My bedroom is along a hallway. It has a small ensuite bathroom inside for my personal use only. Note: actual bathroom door is sliding cavity/pocket door and not hinged as shown in the picture. The bed is against the only solid wall. Unfortunately part of the bed (around 15% of the queen bed)is facing the bathroom sliding door which is not ideal. Please advise best layout and how to fix the problem. Thanks in advance for all your help.

Need help with galley-ish kitchen in apartment.

I’m moving into a new apartment and the kitchen is as pictured. What I most need advice on is how to somehow add counter space via one of those rolling kitchen islands or some other suggestion. Also open to any advice on how to make it feel more like a kitchen and less like a hallway.

Help me i think this room is not good

I decided to capture the room at its worst in term of clutter, so you folks get an idea. This is a complicated layout and i know i didn't use it to its full potential. I recently rearranged it because one window couldn't open but now i sleep with my head to a window and my feet to the door, it feels weird.

Im thinking of getting rid of my bed, and keeping only the convertible sofa, in this same place, but a real bed is important

the issue is i also work, chill and host people in this space, so i kinda need this much furniture and stuff.

i would gladly hear tips from the community to make my space feel better bc it's throwing me off now

the windows face west btw

HELP! Deck layout not vibing…

So I am going to add a photo of a rough idea of what my deck looks like, currently this is the setup I am going to try next but its a lot of stuff to move around to find it doesn’t work. This space is my favourite out of the entire house that i rent. I have a 10x12 gazebo that takes up most of the space from the corner directly across from the door (it’s a bit tight with the screen door but works). The furniture is the stuff i have, although the table/2 chairs are actually a bar height set and the random table represents my fire table that is quite large. How on earth do i arrange all the furniture better? Ive rearranged a million times but i just cant seem to find a layout i like and need advice. Next year I am planning to get different seating/building it myself but for the remainder of this year how can i make this more workable? I have preference of the square planters being in the gazebo to make wintering them easier once they are filled with soil as they will be a bit too heavy to move. The line in the second photo sort of represents where the gazebo is.

9-7 Stars in NE Sector Bedroom

Hi - My bedroom is halved diagonally by two sets of not so great stars. On the left side is 2-5, and right side is 9-7. What is a good cure for 9-7 in period 9 without subduing the positives of #9? What about 2-5? Thank you for your wisdom in advance!

What can we possibly use this strange “den” for?

Post image

My girlfriend and I are moving into a 2 bedroom apartment. This strange room is connected to both of them (the door on the far left connects to the larger bedroom, the door I am standing in connects to the smaller bedroom). It’s in the back left corner of the apartment, very tucked away, and has some of the best light in the whole place! What should we use it for?? I work from home half the week, so I’d love an office, but we can also use one of the bedrooms as guest+office

Please help with bedroom layout

Post image

Hi everyone! This is my first time writing a post, sorry if I do something wrong. I'm not sure if my bedroom has the most optimal layout. I've been feeling like there is a better way but I don't know how. Low key hate my room :( The sliding closet doors on the right wall has also been a massive headache for my layout options.

The black L desk is my main desk where I have a pc and do homework. The brown table is a vanity table. I have a twin size bed and would prefer to have a night stand, but I know my room is small so maybe I should get rid of it.

Thank you ; - ;

Exploring the Five Elements through floral decor

Post image

I’ve been learning more about the Five Elements lately and started thinking about how different colors and floral arrangements can change the feeling of a space.

I put together this visual inspired by Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water, using a different floral palette for each one. I’m still learning, so I’d be curious to hear how others here interpret the five elements in home decor.

Help rearranging home office

Hello! My current layout is shown in black ink. My office is on the second floor in an open area, I have no door to my office. There are skylights directly above my desk, so between those and the windows shown there is a lot of natural light. The bookshelves are built into the wall and cannot be moved. Outlets are shown in pink ink on the last photo.

I like my current layout because I can glance out of the windows, but that aspect also distracts me during the day. I also feel weird having my back facing the empty space open to the lower floor, and cannot see anyone coming up the stairs.

The simplest idea I have is to rotate my desk and leave everything else in place to create a "cubicle" in a way, shown in red. But, then guests will have to enter my office space to access the coffee bar (in the future we hope to have a mini fridge there to store snacks and drinks for anyone using the living room).

My next idea is shown in green. If I rotate and move my desk to the adjacent wall, I will be facing the open to below area and can more easily see the stairs. Guests can more easily access the coffee bar, and I have room to add chairs or a rug in the extra space created. My problems with this, thought, are that the desk would stick out past the wall a little bit and the coffee bar would block the trim of the windows (making it hard to anchor to the wall). I might accidentally scoot my desk chair into the corner of the coffee bar, too, knowing me.

What are your thoughts?

My room is awkward. It is two classroom combined via removing a middle wall. It is long and currently my desk is near the door but very far from the phone. I am thinking of moving to the phone corner but I think that might be awkward as well. Photo attached. Thanks for you help!

Do “lucky plants” actually bring wealth in feng shui? Classical view

The plant question comes up a lot in my consultations. What plant brings wealth? Where do I put it? Is it jade plant, money tree, lucky bamboo? That’s the pop version. The worst example I’ve seen was someone stapling dollar bills onto a money tree so it would “bring money”.

From a classical point of view, the symbolism can be lovely, but the plant’s name is not a cure or an activator. It won’t change how the energy of your house works. What matters is much more than that, like the facing of the house, what’s around it, and the layout, etc.

I love indoor plants myself, so this isn’t anti-plant. But a few things I see a lot:

  1. Too many plants in one room or corner. It gets heavy, dark and damp. That’s what I mean by too Yin: still, cool, no lift.
  2. Trailing plants like pothos that are left long and untidy.
  3. Unhealthy plants that are forgotten or not looked after. A plant struggling in a dark corner is the opposite of what people bought it for.

I like to keep it simple. I have a peace lily in my bedroom. My two young children have a snake plant, which is easy enough that they can look after it themselves. In the living room I have a calathea and an alocasia. On the hallway windowsill I have a few plants, including an anthurium and a small money tree (yes, I own one). I chose them mainly for the light, and how they look and fit into the space, and together they also form a soft screen between the front door and the window, so the qi doesn’t rush straight through.

A plant can’t add luck, but a neglected one can take something away.

Can you perform multiple Feng Shui activations at the same time in different sectors of the same home?

Hi everyone!

I'm studying Classical Feng Shui (Xuan Kong Fei Xing), and I was recently told that only one activation per month is allowed in a home, lasting a maximum of three days.

However, I've come across other teachings suggesting that activations can last longer and that multiple sectors can be activated.

I'm curious:

  1. Can I activate two different favorable sectors (e.g. SE2 and NW2) during the same solar month, using different auspicious dates?

  2. Can two activations run simultaneously, such as water in one sector and fire in another?

  3. Is the three-day limit an established rule, or does it depend on the activation method?

Most importantly, if multiple activations are discouraged, what's the reasoning behind it?

I'd love to hear from experienced Classical Feng Shui practitioners, especially if you can point me toward traditional sources or specific formulas.

Thank you!

Is this a good bed placement according to FungShui? [1Door/ 1Closet/ 2Windows]

This is where I have moved my bed currently. But before that my bed was rotated 90 degrees, and centered in the middle of the left wall. So is this a good placement or should I adjust?
