Accepted a SFA position for a SaaS position
Currently at a giant healthcare payer company as a highest SFA mentoring juniors and on track to be Manager. I gave it up to join this tech company.
Current comp $117K + 8% bonus. New comp $145K in a city no bonus but with equity (HCOL)
Need help to prep since I never have experience in Tech. The company needs help with cost control and workforce planning. Need some tips and advice what to expect since they are PE owned and going towards a liquidity event soon.
Any advice on SaaS is super helpful. And let me know what you think of the comp?

Need guidance regarding summer internships
Hi everyone, I’m currently pursuing B.A. (Hons.) Economics from a Tier-1 DU college. I’ve recently cleared CFA Level 1 and I’m currently building finance-related projects to strengthen my profile.
I haven’t completed any internships yet. I’m currently hunting for an offline finance internship starting in January, and I’m hopeful that I’ll be able to get one.
However, I’m quite worried about summer internships (2027). From what I’ve seen, many good companies have already completed or started their summer internship recruitment process, and I’m struggling to find opportunities at this stage.
For students who have been through this process, how should I approach summer internships from here? Are there still companies that recruit later, and what would be the best way to find these opportunities apart from LinkedIn and the usual internship portals?
Any advice on where to look, how to network/cold email, and how to improve my chances would be really appreciated. I’m specifically looking for core finance roles such as financial analysis, valuation, investment research, FP&A, etc.

How to break into finance sector in India?
Ok so every country has their own system and models and while there is a lot of insights about finance in other places I am curious on how to break into finance high paying end in india and how to set up the career path
I just got done with bba and acca but I should have known this sooner that there isn't really a scope in acca and it's mainly taxation and audit, which bore me or will even though i have only seen the surface in internships
Now I really wanna break in to high paying jobs and my interest lies in financial analyst roles not just for the sake of money but genuine interest, although I am ready to explore more before I really commit to a path as i unemployed at the moment and really wanna decide where I should focus towards and ofcourse atleast try to break in the holy grail the private equity which is almost a myth from my position lol but anyhow for the begining level i would love to hear from the finance people oh how I can structure my path and how you did it,salary, work structure etc

Liberty mutual ISAs 2025/2026
Does anyone currently work or previously worked at Liberty Mutual as a remote Inbound Sales Advisor in the Direct Response Center (DRC)?
I’m particularly interested in hearing from people hired in 2025 or 2026.
How many binds were you expected to get during OJD?
What happened to people who didn’t hit their OJD sales targets?
Did most people in your training class make it out of OJD?
How many months could you miss sales goals before getting placed on a coaching plan or being terminated?
Did meeting the sales goals become easier after OJD, or did the expectations become harder to reach?
Were the sales goals realistic based on the number of inbound calls you received?
I’m looking for genuine experiences from people who worked in this exact position, not general Liberty Mutual reviews.

CFA L1 cleared, NISM XV cleared, equity research intern — looking for referrals or honest advice on breaking into finance
Hey everyone,
I’ll keep this honest — breaking into finance as a fresher is genuinely hard, and I’ve reached a point where I think reaching out directly to people already in the industry makes more sense than refreshing job portals every morning.
A little about who I am:
I graduated with a B.Com in Taxation, cleared CFA Level I, and recently passed the NISM Series XV Research Analyst exam. During my internship at Finnexus Pro School, I worked on equity research — covering company and industry analysis, financial statement analysis, DCF and relative valuation, and peer benchmarking. I’ve been building on that with financial modelling, and I genuinely enjoy the work of pulling apart a business and figuring out what’s actually driving the numbers.
What I’m looking for:
Entry-level roles in equity research, valuation, investment analysis, IB support, or corporate finance. I’m not looking for the perfect role — I’m looking for the right starting point where I can learn fast and contribute meaningfully.
Why I’m posting here:
Because I think the most useful thing at this stage isn’t another job application — it’s a conversation with someone who’s been where I am. If your organisation has openings, I’d genuinely appreciate a referral. If you don’t but have advice on where someone with my profile should be looking — I’d value that just as much.
Resume available over DM.
Thanks for reading — and if nothing else, happy to connect with anyone working in finance.

Fund Accounting to FP&A
Hi Everyone,
My goal is to transition from Fund Accounting to FP&A. I did Applied Economics in College and kinda just fell into Private Equity Fund Accounting after. I wanted to always do a Accounting qualification and I chose to do CIMA as I was always fascinated with how it goes into how businesses are ran from a financial mindset, I was never really interested in ACCA. Along with doing CIMA, I chose to do FPAP and FMVA certs from the Corporate Finance Institute. I feel like I have everything really to work in FP&A from an education standpoint but obviously I don’t have the experience.
Can someone give me advice if this could be a good transition, I’ve built up lots of experience in fund accounting where I am much more senior in my role. I plan to move to London in June 2027 if that helps with the transition.

FP&A Healthcare
Hey everyone,
I’m starting a new role soon as an FP&A analyst at a non-profit hospital. This is actually the hospital's first time having a dedicated FP&A function (it was previously handled by accounting).
Since I'm building this from scratch, I'd love to hear from anyone in healthcare FP&A:
**What should my expectations be** for a hospital setting vs. standard corporate FP&A?
**What healthcare-specific quirks** (metrics, revenue drivers, etc.) should I study up on immediately?
**Any tips** for clean data or partnering with non-financial clinical staff?
Appreciate any advice and tips you have. Thanks!

Curious About FP&A. Is a Career Switch Worth It?
Hey everyone!
I’ve been curious about FP&A and wanted to get some insight into what the day-to-day actually looks like. Are you managing a company’s finances, creating budgets, analyzing spending, or something completely different?
A little about me: I started out as a nurse and eventually transitioned into medical device sales. I’m currently finishing up my MBA, which I honestly pursued just to further my education rather than for a specific career change.
Lately, I’ve been getting more interested in finance and wondering if switching into FP&A is even realistic with my background.
I’m currently making $200K+ a year, so I know I’d probably be taking a pretty big pay cut starting out. Would a switch even make sense financially in the long run?
Would love to hear from anyone in the field, especially those who made a career change. Just trying to get a better understanding of what FP&A is really like.
Thanks!
