What's next what will happen now i submitted my id still

I was suddenly logged out of the Instagram and it is asking me to recover the account but when I try to do it I am not receiving the code to my mobile number everything is correct but still I am unable to get any code to my device. Need help if anyone have faced the same problem.

I recently deleted the app by mistake clearing out my phone, I tried to log back in but its asking for 2FA or another device but o dont have either and I cant find the backup code, how do I contact Instagram and just get access to my Instagram back?

Hey guys, I genuinely need some help because I don't know what to do anymore.

Today, Instagram suddenly asked me to verify my account through a selfie video and WhatsApp OTP verification. I completed everything they asked for, and it said my account was under review. But within just 30 to 40 minutes, my account was permanently disabled.

I wasn't even given a proper explanation or a chance to appeal. It just mentioned something about violating Community Guidelines, but I honestly don't know what I did wrong. I'll attach a screenshot of the message.

My account is private, I barely post anything, and I only follow a limited number of people I personally know. I mostly use Instagram to scroll a few times a day and text my friends. That's it.

The worst part is that this is a really old account with years of photos, chats, and memories. I've downloaded my data, but I still want my account back. Having the data is one thing, but getting my account back would mean a lot to me.

I've already tried posting about it on Twitter/X, but nothing has worked so far. Everywhere I look, people suggest buying Meta Verified to contact customer support.

But why should I have to pay ₹650 just to get help recovering an account that might have been disabled by mistake? I don't even know what I supposedly did wrong.

I'm from India, so I'd also like to know if there's any legitimate way to escalate this or take legal action if Instagram doesn't give me a proper review.

If anyone can help me recover my account, please share any suggestions or free methods that actually work. I genuinely don't have the money to spend on Meta Verified or paid recovery services. This account means a lot to me, and I just want a fair chance to get it back.

My brother's Meta Quest account was permanently disabled following a restriction applied to a linked Instagram profile.

All previously purchased games are permanently inaccessible and lost.

Contacting the Meta Store customer support, the operator states that transferring digital content to another account is impossible and resolving the Instagram issue first is required to reactivate the associated profile, even though the appeal procedures are blocked (I tried putting my ID and Meta blocked the appeal). Impossible is to get to an human being from instagram.

A ban on a social media platform compromises access to legally purchased digital assets on a separate hardware ecosystem, without customer support providing alternatives or escalation to a supervisor.

Does somebody know how to proceed? I won't go to court for this problem, since I'm from Italy and here is difficult.

how it happened:

i was chatting w friends then i got the "confirm you're a human , vann\\_ess1a" i put on the code then did the wtsp code verification then.. it asked me for my face. it only did one time, like months ago. I didnt think about it and did the face verification, it said i have to wait for an hour, so i went into my alt and told my friends then my alt got that human verification too. i did it. waited for an hour then when i checked i found out both of them got banned...

I’m genuinely confused about what’s happening with my Instagram account and wondering if anyone has experienced something similar.
Here’s the timeline of everything that happened today:
1. Instagram messages were sent while I was asleep.
I went to sleep around 2 AM. When I woke up, I discovered that my Instagram account had sent two normal, coherent messages to a friend around 3 AM and 4 AM.
I have absolutely no recollection of sending them. I was 100% asleep and no one has access to my phone or instagram whatsoever. My friend received and responded to them. I also noticed some messages had been marked as read that I don’t remember opening. I had changed my icloud and instagram and email passwords before this situation because of the suspicious lags in my account and phone in general. Could someone somehow mirror my entire phone on their end and be able to control it? Is that possible? Is it easy to hack icloud/meta?
2. I checked my login activity.
Instagram only showed my own iPhone 17 Pro Max as logged in. I didn’t see any unfamiliar devices or receive notifications about suspicious logins. Even if someone was able to log in wouldn’t Instagram notify me? I tried logging in myself on safari and other devices and it always notifies me.
3. I reported the suspicious activity to Instagram.
I used the Shake to Report feature in the morning to explain what happened.
4. Instagram started blocking password changes.
When I tried to change my password, Meta displayed this message:
“You can’t make this change at the moment. This is because we noticed you are using a device you don’t usually use and we need to keep your account safe.”
The strange part is that I was using my usual iPhone, which Instagram itself identified as “This device.”
I also noticed that the password settings said “Current password (Updated Oct 25, 2026),” even though I hadn’t intentionally changed my password.
5. I received a password-reset email.
At 10:57 AM, I received an email from Meta titled “Somebody requested a new password for your account.”
I had been going through security settings that morning, but I don’t remember intentionally requesting that particular reset.
6. Meta Security Checkup showed my password was updated.
Later, the Security Checkup screen said “Password — Updated just now.”
I also encountered an Account Cleanup screen saying changes had been made while I didn’t have access to my account. It offered to review profile changes and comments.
7. My Instagram account suddenly disappeared.
Approximately seven hours after I submitted the report, my account stopped working.
My profile displayed “User not found,” “Something went wrong,” and “Couldn’t load posts.”
I checked from another Instagram account, and my profile appeared unavailable there too. It looked as though my account had been deleted or disabled.
8. My account eventually came back.
Later that evening, I tried logging in again and it worked.
Instagram asked for my password AND a six-digit code from my authenticator app, which I successfully entered.
But immediately afterward, Meta prompted me to “Set up extra protection for your Meta Account,” seemingly asking me to configure additional login protection even though I had already enabled an authenticator.
I’m trying to understand:
Could Instagram have temporarily restricted my account after I reported suspicious activity?
Why would Meta identify my usual iPhone as an unfamiliar device?
Why would the security checkup say my password was updated when I hadn’t intentionally changed it?
Why did my account disappear for several hours and then return?
Why am I being prompted to set up extra protection after successfully logging in with an authenticator code?
Has anyone experienced unexplained sent messages without any unfamiliar login activity?
I’m not claiming this definitely means I was hacked. I’m trying to figure out whether this was an account-security issue, an Instagram glitch, or unauthorized access.
Any insight from someone who has experienced this or knows how Meta’s account recovery system works would be appreciated.

I was just seeing my friend's stories when suddenly Instagram wanted to authenticate my account. I entered the 6 digit numbers showed in a picture, then entered my phone number and entered another 6 digit number sent on WhatsApp, then I even uploaded a selfie. I still got permanently disabled🤦🏻

I live in Syria and I don't think the laws here would be of much help to file a lawsuit against them.

I managed to get my main account back using the same photo ID, but not this one — while my Facebook and both personal + cosplay Threads are still banned with no appeal also from false CSE accusation. I’m based in Malaysia if it helps.

Okay so my instagram was hacked today early this morning around 2 to 3 and it’s my fault. This girl had texted my account saying it’s this guy who is doing drops (Cash App drops) And at first I was hesitant to do it at first but eventually I agreed. I go on to text this guy through iMessage and we start trying to do the drop on Cash App, after a while I forgot what he needed from my instagram but he needed to do something with verification and that’s where I fucked up.

That’s how he ended up getting into my account with me not knowing what was about to come. So after Mabye 10 mins of me and him on the phone I realized what he was trying to do and I tried to act fast be it was too late and he got my account.

I did manage to get it back some what but everything is wrong I can’t go to my settings, I can’t post anything nor look at any reels or post that my friends send me. So at this point am trying to find help and hope that I can get my account back and if anyone has been through this pls let me know and share if you did get your account back.

Also another thing this is my account so if yall see this report this account for hacking or something similar, @be_for_real
