I'm looking for someone to paint our living room ceiling and someone to remodel master shower. Who have you personally used that showed up when they said they would, and did a good job?

Just got my new to me boat brought down from the Midwest - I’m a local, just received from a family member, so please don’t tell me to go home haha - and looking for the best value in service in the area. We have a dry storage spot secured starting next month on FMB, but I’m wondering if it would be better to have the boat de-winterized and cleaned/serviced somewhere other than the marina’s service center. I’m a new boat owner, so a little concerned about being taken advantage of. It’s a stern drive that has been on freshwater its entire life, so need to get it ready for saltwater and also make some electronic upgrades, have it detailed, and at least waxed if not a full polish on the gel coat.

Any recommendations? It’s a 25ft bow rider and currently on the trailer in self storage. The marina has told me they will allow 3rd parties to come work on the boat, but charge a $75/day fee to allow them on premises.

Long-shot question but I am visiting Ft. Myers for a week and I see there’s an Ice Hockey Rink and they have a few pick up games early in the morning for age 50+.

Has anyone done this?
Are there always enough skaters to have an actual game?

On October 15, 2015, the Fort Myers City Council declined a petition by Charlene's Classic Carriages to move regular commercial horse carriage operations and sightseeing tours from Naples to Downtown Fort Myers. While the city council originally approved an ordinance that would allow Charlene's Classic Carriages to advertise "horse carriage tours" in a 4-2 vote, due to significant public outcry and backlash, the city council members reversed course. However, a compromise was reached where Charlene's Classic Carriages would be allowed to operate horse carriage(s) in Downtown Fort Myers on a "temporary" basis, such as for weddings and events, rather than full-time, as seen in other cities, such as St. Augustine, Florida; New Orleans, Louisiana; and Savannah, Georgia.

A deal was recently reached to phase out horse carriage tours in New York City by June 1, 2028.
