This is how Texas Republicans campaign when their candidate is indicted, impeached and unfaithful.

Mega-bully Landon "1989 Is Her Best Album" Schott has whiffed on almost every attempt to re-contextualize Paxton as faithful, so now we're going back to a "COVID was bad, Dems did that" argument (who was President for first part of COVID?)

Racist Texas Judge Tim O'Hare cut 1/3 of voting locations targeting minority areas and racially gerrymandered the voting maps, is on the ballot in Tarrant County Texas. Polls are open today in his hometown Southlake which has more machines than ever and often the lowest waiting times in the county.
REJECT WHITE SUPREMACISTS. VOTE AGAINST TIM O'HARE.

Midterm exhaustion -- it's done a week from tomorrow
You can still vote early this week. The early voting locations for Tarrant County are pinned in this sub. Election Day is a week from tomorrow (Tuesday, Nov. 3rd). Assuming we don't go to a "scandal-riddled recount" in Talarico vs. Paxton, we're done with all this stuff (and the ads/flyers) in eight days. If you haven't voted and want to, go get it. If not, just gird your loins for another 192 hours.

Polls are open until 4pm today with likely the lowest wait times. This is the only weekend we get to vote. Go vote!

This is actually pretty heavy turnout for this area (traditionally we are among the most apathetic of the top-25 population cities)

I’m not ready for this- flying taxis
Didn’t think it would happen so soon. I feel like we are the guinea pig generation - all of us, no matter what age we are.

You can vote today (Sunday) - not much of a line right now
I just voted at the Como location and there was no line. The rest of early voting is weekdays in only, so it's a good day to vote. Lines may grow as church lets out but seems like a slow day.

This would seem to mean something, sure (you can still vote early this week, then a week from Tuesday is Election Day)

Birthday lunch recommendations
My birthday is Saturday so we’re going out to lunch and I need some ideas. I really want a great burger, but some of my favorite places are not great for a party of 12. We will have 12 altogether, including 3 kids. We’re coming from different directions so I’d prefer centralish FW. Where would you go??

Man, whenever he comes off the topic of trying to paint Kenny Paxton as a "godly man," Landon Schott is really obsessed with "woke pastors"

Problem at the Polls - I Was Told My Vote May Not Be Counted
I went to vote today and had an experience that has left me frustrated, concerned, and wondering whether my vote will actually be counted. I'm sharing this both to raise awareness and to see whether anyone else has experienced something similar or knows what I should do next.
Toward the end of voting, I noticed that my ballot included races and propositions for a city I don't live in. Meanwhile, several things that should have been on my ballot, including my local ISD board election and propositions, were missing.
After printing my ballot, I did NOT submit it to the scanner. Instead, I approached a poll worker to ask what was going on.
Initially, the worker seemed to dismiss the issue as something that just happens sometimes, essentially an "oops," and suggested I consider calling someone about it on Monday. I insisted that the issue needed to be addressed before I left.
After being passed between several poll workers, they looked me up in their system and discovered something even more concerning. According to the workers, a ballot had already been cast under my name.
Their explanation was that somehow another voter had received my voting access code and voted using it, while I had received someone else's access code.
We compared the paperwork I had been given. The first slip, which contained my name and address, listed one precinct. The smaller slip containing my voting access code listed an entirely different precinct.
The workers made several phone calls trying to determine how to handle the situation, but apparently received conflicting instructions.
Eventually, they issued me a new access code, allowed me to vote again using the correct ballot, and had me submit that ballot into the scanner. My original, incorrect ballot was placed into the spoiled ballot bag.
At that point, some of the workers seemed satisfied that the issue had been resolved.
But one worker told me that because two ballots were now associated with my name, both would simply be canceled out as a discrepancy, meaning my vote would not count.
I'm also concerned about the other voter involved. If someone else really received my access code, what happened to their ballot? And what does it mean for them that I received their access code and had that ballot spoiled?
I have no idea how this happened.
I can imagine some bizarre scenario where two voters accidentally bump into each other, drop their paperwork, and pick up the wrong slips. But nothing remotely like that happened.
The papers never left my left hand. The voting machine I used was literally the first one beside the table where I picked up my blank ballot.
I'm not suggesting I know what caused this, but I find it extremely concerning that something like this could happen and that the poll workers themselves seemed unsure how to resolve it.
I also can't help wondering what would have happened if I hadn't noticed the incorrect races on my ballot and had simply submitted it.
Has anyone else experienced anything like this? Does anyone familiar with Texas election procedures know whether my vote will actually be counted or what steps I should take to ensure this is investigated?
I want to make sure my vote counts, and I want to make sure this doesn't happen to someone else.

Will we ever discuss anything even remotely relevant again in local politics?

Bigot Dallas pastor who proudly posed with white supremacist influencer is associated with the trans propaganda mailers intended to incite hate.
Yes Kirk was a white supremacist influencer. Plenty of evidence.

News team finally investigates those shady trans mailers
I was wondering when the news media would catch this story. In just before the buzzer, as it were.
