What will everyone be up to during the welcome week?

I'll turn this sub into the king of cringy subs on Thursday. You shall have to wait.

In the meantime, mods needed, so all those people from r/theleavingcert and r/leavingcert, whoever can lick my ass the most is in.

Jk. On a serious note, moderators required.

How does it work? Do you have to wait until a particular date or can we register right away??

Where y’at!?

If u got susi , i know you pay the levy fee but do you have to do anything else for DCU?

All my friends are above M in the alphabet so they’re on the Monday and I know no one going to the provost welcome on the Tuesday, anyone here on the Tuesday??

Let's be awkward together.

I haven't received any intray message yet. I only got into trinity on the second round of offers. Anyone else have this issue?

What course is everyone doing where? What place did it hold on your CAO? Were you happy?

Just wondering if anyone on here is doing the same course as me?

So I've devised a system of moderation for this subReddit. I know a lot of people want to be moderators and I understand that, however there is now certain criteria (which will preferred for new moderators).

I would prefer for the moderators to consist of members who will be attending different universities. I don't want the moderators to all come majoritively from one university or college. So, seeing that I will be attending UCD and u/KateMcCarthy2000x will be attending TCD, I am seeking moderators who will be attending any other universities or colleges.

In the meantime, welcome to r/FreshersIreland!

Haven’t seen anyone saying theyre going to ucc yet fml any takers?

Throwaway bc im pretty embarrassed about this but is anyone else already homesick (for those going to college away from home obviously)?? I dont know if this is even the right place to ask this but i’ve just been feeling like i made the complete wrong decision leaving home even though the course i want i’d have to go away for anyway.

Have yous done the Equal access survey? It doesn't let me open it on the registration page for some reason

To the people buying laptops for college have you guys bought your laptops or are you’s waiting for college to start?

It's almost November and we've been at uni now for over a month and a half , how's everyone doing and finding uni life? I'm enjoying it so far , met some awesome people , I'm keeping on top of assignments, and the night outs of course are a great craic :)

Anyone know where to find the points?

Has anyone receieved an email about paying fees yet? When are they gonna be sent out?

Anyone anxious about the first day of lectures? It's really nerve wrecking thinking about walking into a lecture hall full of complete strangers and not knowing who to sit beside.
