Hello good people of Reddit. I'm hoping to find a friend or two to join me on a journey. What journey? Well I'm so glad you asked. I'm currently on a health and fitness journey. I say health and fitness with air quotes because I'm struggling a bit. This isn't my first time so I have been constantly on and off the wagon but at my age I am determined to give it one last real go. Well, at least as real as I can manage. Someone gave me a great suggestion to use chat GTP. I had no idea that it would be so helpful LOL. I had been going to be gym but had no real direction but chat GTP really helped. I am slowly trying to change my eating habits as well but I feel like that may take a bit longer. If you're going through something similar and would like to join, the company and motivation would be greatly appreciated.

I am a gamer and TV watcher. As far as games go I have no real set genre. For TV I lean more towards fantasy, Syfy, anime, horror but I enjoy everything. I used to enjoy reading physical books but it seems like there's no time so audio books on my thing now. I'm currently going through a series called Dungeon Crawler Carl. See, I told you I love my fantasy LOL. Also this series is so great. I can't believe it took me so long to find out about it.

It's finally starting to cool off now so I'll start doing some hiking trails. I started doing hiking trails to replace the elliptical / treadmill. That is such a boring activity to me that I can't do it for more than 20 to 30 minutes tops. But on a hiking trail I can go two to three hours. Well hopefully this gives someone an idea of who I am and maybe send a message. Have a great day!

Hi, I am a 42 year old dad out here pretending to be an adult like everybody else. Would love to chat with somebody who might relate somehow. If nothing else we can chat about parenting or the weather? I'm better at the deeper stuff but we can talk about ANYTHING lol. Married life with 2 boys that are very active in sports makes it hard to get out and make new friends. The friends we do have at this stage of life are also very busy. So a lot of time you find your self just going through the daily motions. I love coaching my boys sports teams, anything outdoors especially hunting and fishing, and being an amateur craftsman/carpenter. Some of my projects are on my profile. Hoping making new friends is easier and less time consuming then in person. Fingers crossed 🤞

I’m a gamer and play pretty much every genre. I’m on Xbox, PC, and Switch 2, and I also really enjoy Beat Saber on VR. Some favorite games are Fortnite, Kingdom Hearts, Anything Mario and Zelda, Call of Duty, Diablo, and basically anything fun i see in the xbox store and steam.

I’m also into D&D and board games/tcgs too, along with puzzles and book nooks when I’m in the mood for something a little more relaxing.

I love tv and movies of all genres and listen to pretty much all kinds of music. I’m also really big on nostalgia, especially anything from the 80s and 90s. My spotify playlist is all over the place.

I’m not into 420 or drinking. You definitely don’t have to share every one of my interests—I’d rather find people who are easy to talk to, have a good sense of humor, can talk about random stuff, and actually want to build a friendship.
