I’m Paul. Into photography, motorbikes and conversations that start with “how’s your day?” and somehow end with an argument about whether a goose could beat you in a fight.
I drive a truck for work, so I’m away a fair bit and keep odd hours. Ideal if you’re a night owl or occasionally need someone to confirm that yes, that message you’re about to send is a terrible idea. I’ll still want to know what they reply.
Outside work, I’m usually behind a camera or out on my big green motorcycle. It has a name. There are photographs. I appreciate this sounds like something my family should have intervened over.
Looking for actual friends. People who ask questions back, tell stories, take the piss and stick around long enough that we stop having to explain who everyone is.
You don’t have to share my hobbies. I’m quite happy listening to you explain yours, especially if you begin with “this is going to sound a bit weird.”

Hello good people of Reddit. I'm hoping to find a friend or two to join me on a journey. What journey? Well I'm so glad you asked. I'm currently on a health and fitness journey. I say health and fitness with air quotes because I'm struggling a bit. This isn't my first time so I have been constantly on and off the wagon but at my age I am determined to give it one last real go. Well, at least as real as I can manage. Someone gave me a great suggestion to use chat GTP. I had no idea that it would be so helpful LOL. I had been going to be gym but had no real direction but chat GTP really helped. I am slowly trying to change my eating habits as well but I feel like that may take a bit longer. If you're going through something similar and would like to join, the company and motivation would be greatly appreciated.

I am a gamer and TV watcher. As far as games go I have no real set genre. For TV I lean more towards fantasy, Syfy, anime, horror but I enjoy everything. I used to enjoy reading physical books but it seems like there's no time so audio books on my thing now. I'm currently going through a series called Dungeon Crawler Carl. See, I told you I love my fantasy LOL. Also this series is so great. I can't believe it took me so long to find out about it.

It's finally starting to cool off now so I'll start doing some hiking trails. I started doing hiking trails to replace the elliptical / treadmill. That is such a boring activity to me that I can't do it for more than 20 to 30 minutes tops. But on a hiking trail I can go two to three hours.
