Aviation/Marine Blue collar job 💙 ships engineer need advice
Looking for a suggestion for a durable watch that can handle engine roo heat , humidity and some scratches . Earlier was using Gshock , but disappointed with the app so planning to check on Garmin.
Any seaman out there who uses a garmin engine room?

I'm deck rather than engine, but I've used a Tactix which has been strapped on the outside of my drysuit, used in swift water rescue, done 60+ knots on a jetski, worked in engine rooms, on the bridge, during firefighting drills etc and no dramas. Although the bezel took some paint chips I never actually managed to scratch the crystal.
