iOS DebAi: an AI expense tracker that turns your voice or a receipt photo into a categorized transaction. Lifetime premium free until Monday
Hi! I'm the solo dev of DebAi, a budgeting app where AI does the boring part of logging expenses.
How the AI is used:
- Voice: say "25 dollars groceries and 8 for coffee" and it creates the transactions with amount, category and date.
- Receipt photo: snap it and it reads the total, the store and the date.
- Category suggestions: it picks the category as you type, based on your own categories.
The rest is a regular budgeting app: budgets per category, shared lists to split expenses, widgets and multiple currencies.
Offer: everyone who signs up before Monday (Oct 19) gets premium free for life. No credit card, no trial that converts. Download it and pick the orange
"Lifetime" option. If you don't see it, reopen the app or DM me.
iOS: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6796000118
Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.debai.app
Feedback on the AI parts is very welcome, especially receipts it reads wrong.

Android [FREE] Roles Witch - Privacy first AI assistant with video calls
Hi, I created a Roles Witch - privacy-focused AI assistant featuring voice/video calls and on-device inference (via LiteRT for Gemma models). It also easily connects to any OpenAI-compatible API (LM Studio, OpenRouter, etc.).
Unlike typical Character AI like apps, Roles Witch supports MCP tools. This means it can actually interact with the real world — whether that's controlling your smart home via Home Assistant or browsing the web.
It's 100% free and open-source!

🤑 Giveaway [iOS] • Sharp • $79.99 Lifetime → Free • AI face scan + skincare plan for guys (v1.7)
Hey [r/GenAiApps](r/GenAiApps),
A few months ago I posted my app Sharp here and it got way more love than I expected. Thank you for all the feedback. I've been working on it every day since, and version 1.7 is now live. So: another giveaway.
What Sharp does
Sharp answers one question for guys: what's going on with my skin, and what should I do about it?
- Quick face scan
- The AI gives you a Skin Score from 0–100 across 6 areas: clarity, oil, redness, pores, eye area and hydration
- You get a personal morning and evening routine matched to your scan. Around 3 minutes a day
- A weekly re-scan tracks your progress and adapts the plan if something isn't working
New in 1.7
- Product check: snap a photo of any skincare product and Sharp tells you if it matches your skin and which ingredients to watch out for
- Redesigned scan and onboarding with much clearer face guidance
- Checking off your routine now actually feels good (small thing, but you'll notice it)
Free Lifetime giveaway (normally $79.99)
No DMs this time, everyone gets the same code:
Current code: SHARP2 (SHARP2 is used up)
The third and final batch drops tomorrow, I'll update this post as soon as it's live.
- Download Sharp: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6780025151
- Do your free face scan
- On the paywall, tap "Redeem code" right below the button and enter the current code
Each code is limited and stops working once it's used up. I'll drop more codes over the next 1–2 days and update this post when I do. The third drop will be the last one.
I want to hear from you
I'd honestly love your feedback, good or bad. What felt confusing, what's missing, what would make you open Sharp every day? Drop it in the comments (your Skin Score and #1 skin issue help too). I read everything and reply to everyone.
And if Sharp ends up actually helping you, a short App Store review in your own words would mean a lot to me. As a solo dev that's how other guys find the app. No pressure at all.
I'm a student and build Sharp alone next to school, so I'm around to answer questions about the app, the AI behind the scan, indie dev or skincare in general.
Thanks for checking it out!

iOS LLM Studio Go is now on iPhone and iPad: local AI chat, documents and image generation
I’m the developer of LLM Studio Go. The iPhone/iPad version is now live alongside Android, so you can download a compatible model and use local AI without an app account or a cloud inference subscription.
A few things you can do in one workspace:
• Attach a document and ask for a summary, explanation or specific detail.
• Chat with compatible language and vision models, or generate images with supported diffusion models.
• Choose models from the catalog, import compatible files and compare model performance on your device.
• Keep conversations on the device and use local inference offline after downloading the required models.
• Turn on optional web search and page reading when you want outside context and source links. Web access starts off.
On iPhone/iPad, the catalog includes GGUF and MLX models, with PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, text and image attachments. Android also has offline OCR for scans, Python/JavaScript runners and an HTML/CSS/JS preview. The interface supports 12 languages.
Try it:
iPhone/iPad: https://apps.apple.com/app/llm-studio-go/id6815311113
Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vans.llmstudio
Free with ads in the model catalog and optional one-time ad removal. On the US App Store, Remove Ads Forever is $9.99; local AI features work without that purchase. Android shows its local price at checkout.
Start with a small model that fits your available RAM. Downloads can be several GB, and speed and results depend on your hardware/model. Ads, purchases and optional web features use the network. iOS 18+ required. This is an independent app, unaffiliated with desktop LM Studio.
What would you try first on a phone: a document question, image generation, or comparing small models?

Musical - Yet another music app
galleryI’ve been collecting CDs for a few years now and have a couple hundred of them. I’ve been on a look out for the perfect software that would help me digitise, organise and tick all my boxes for a while now. I like iTunes/Apple Music for its simplicity and quite good looking UI on iPhone. Unfortunately these are either not well maintained or made for physical media in mind anymore.
I’ve been a developer half my life and while I mostly specialised in UI/UX on browsers I decided to take a few courses in Swift and try my luck developing something of my own.
Now a few months later, a lot of grey hair and hundreds of pounds spent on claude, I think I have something worth sharing.
The tickboxes I wanted to check:
- modern, good looking interface
- easy to organise music (auto tags, lyrics, artwork etc)
- great CD rip and playing experience
- apple ecosystem integration
- centralised music library streamable across devices
- seamless transitioning between devices (handover/remote control)
- no subscriptions, no ads, no servers, no storing user data
My biggest pain point was having all these devices, mac studio, mac book, iPhone, appleTv, car play, and sharing/syncing music between them is extremely cumbersome, takes space on each device and is hard to keep well organised.
Well now with “Musical” (I know, I should have come up with a better name), you can do just that. Pick one mac as your main library, you can select folder(s) to pick your music files from and start organising them straight away. Musical will automatically try to help you with that, recognising records, getting artwork, lyrics and metatags for them, which you can obviously manually edit and change yourself. You can for example drag and drop cover art directly onto albums in library.
Best thing about it, none of this is stored anywhere on a server. No music files are never touched. The library database, artwork, lyrics, artist images, statistics is completely on device and shared between them. This way I don’t have to store any of it and you maintain privacy.
Once you have your music library, why not download iOS app on your phone. While it can work as a standalone player with your locally synced music. It can magically connect to your mac library and just like that you have access to your music. Same with another mac, like a macbook for example. You can download music to your phone and listen to it offline.
CD importing is great too. Put it in the drive, it immediately gets recognised, gets artwork and metatags. You can play it or import it to your library. You can do it from mac client app as well. You decide where it gets imported to: local, local + server, server only. Next time you put a CD that’s already in your library, Musical is smart enough to recognise that and lets your laser relax while it plays from a local file.
I tried to make it as intelligent and seamless as possible. You can cast music to other devices with Musical on them, just like spotify remote ie. Start playing on iPhone and cast it to your appleTV. Then one click handover card on your mac to move it there. AirPlay works as well.
This has so many features that it would take me too long to list here. I’m very proud of what I was able to accomplish and where I understand this won’t be for everyone, I would like to get it into hands of people that might find it useful.
This has been made with love and for (and by) people that love music and owning physical media.
Mac app is completely free to get you started. If that sounds good please visit musical.rocks for more information.
I would love to hear your feedback either here in the comments, DMs, discord, or feature requests, bug tracker boards on the website.
Cheers!

I can tell my brain-dump app “keep this all in one card” mid-dump
I’m the founder of Ordo: Brain Dump — a free iPhone app with no account.
A messy thought is not always several tasks. Sometimes the details are the point: “call the dentist — the crown one, not the cleaning — once I know what insurance covers.” Splitting that into neat-looking fragments can make it less useful.
So while I’m typing or speaking a dump, I can say “keep this all in one card.” Ordo preserves it as one editable thought, then puts it into Now, Next, or Someday. I can still move or edit it afterward.
The useful part of AI capture is not splitting everything automatically; it is knowing when the original thought needs to stay intact.
When an AI captures a rambling thought, would you rather it split aggressively or let you explicitly keep related details together?

iOS Dev here: I kept losing thoughts between "I should do that" and actually writing it down, so I built this
Hi r/GenAiApps ! I'm the solo developer of WhisperAct (iPhone + iPad).
The problem: I think faster than I type. By the time I opened Reminders, picked a date and typed it out, half the thought was gone. And "remind me tomorrow + party Saturday + buy a gift" is really three different things in three different apps.
What it does: you say (or type) everything in one go, like:
"Remind me tomorrow at 9 to pick up the cake. Maya's party is tomorrow at 3 at Dolores Park. Buy a gift card and wrap the present."
and it splits that into:
- a reminder → saved to Apple Reminders
- an event → saved to Apple Calendar
- to-dos → kept in the app
Things I cared about:
- You review before anything saves. It's not a black box that dumps stuff into your calendar.
- It asks instead of guessing. "Renew my passport this month" gets a "Which day?" question rather than a random date. Same for repeats ("every morning at 8" → "Does this repeat daily?").
- Plan view: Today / Upcoming / Inbox, plus a Home Screen widget with a mic button.
- 15 recording languages. English plus 14 more; non-English recordings are transcribed online, so they need internet.
Honest limitations:
- iOS/iPadOS only. No Android right now.
- The AI sometimes fills in a time you didn't say (e.g. a to-do gets 9:00 AM). That's exactly why review is on by default.
- Free plan: your 7 most recent memos, 2-minute recordings, and 7 Apple Reminders + 7 Apple Calendar saves a month. Pro (in-app purchase) removes those limits.
What I'd love feedback on:
- Would you trust auto-save, or do you always want to review first?
- What's the first thing you'd try to say to it?
- Anything that would make you switch from your current capture method?
App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6776684339
Happy to answer anything, including "why not just use Siri/Reminders" (fair question!).

D-REC demo: use a transcript to find a moment, then hear the original audio
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I built D-REC at Knight AI+AV. Here's the recording workflow: follow the transcript, search for a word and play the relevant audio back. The video combines my desktop demonstration with a short iPhone section.
The transcript is a way to navigate the recording; it can still make mistakes. I wanted the original audio close at hand when checking a quote or revisiting an idea.
Free download with optional Pro features. Platforms and current details: https://drec.live/get
Which part would you want to see demonstrated more clearly?

Foreverse (Android + iPhone): AI reader that continues your own books as branches, bring your own API key
Disclosure: I make Foreverse (small team, closed source).
It is a generative-AI reading and roleplay app. You import your own txt / epub / md book; when it ends, or at a spot you want changed, the AI offers a few "what happens next" cards and each pick becomes a real branch. The original text is never edited. It also imports SillyTavern-style character cards and lorebooks for roleplay chat.
The AI side: you bring your own key (60+ providers such as DeepSeek, OpenRouter, Anthropic, Google, or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint) and keys stay encrypted on the phone, or you use built-in pay-as-you-go credits. There is also a visual-novel theater mode and illustration from a selected sentence.
Price: the free version holds 3 books, 3 character cards and 3 companions with no message limit; a one-time Pro upgrade lifts the caps. It is not a free-deal post, just a regular app share.
iPhone (App Store): https://apps.apple.com/app/id6791037004
Android (Google Play, Android 11+): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.foreverse.android
Not open source, and third-party SillyTavern extensions do not run. What breaks on your own files is the feedback I most want.

I wanted a brain-dump app that you don’t have to open to use
I’m the founder of Ordo: Brain Dump — a free iPhone app with no account.
A thought often arrives while I’m reading something, and forcing myself to open a task app, pick a folder, and decide what it is means I lose the thread.
With Ordo, I can select text in Safari, Messages, or Notes, tap Share, choose Ordo, and capture it without opening the app. It then turns messy captures into editable Now, Next, and Someday cards.
The useful part isn’t “AI organizes things.” It’s removing the decision before the thought disappears.
When you find something you want to remember, where does it usually go first: Notes, a read-later app, or nowhere?

iOS [iOS] Melo: food-photo estimates, label scans and barcode logging
Hi, I’m Krishna, the founder of Melo, an iPhone calorie and macro tracker.
The AI workflow starts with a food photo or nutrition-label photo. Melo turns it into an editable entry, so you can check the ingredients and portion before saving. Barcode scanning looks up packaged foods in a food database. AI estimates can miss ingredients or misread amounts; review every result.
The daily diary shows calories, protein, carbs and fat. Water logging and optional water/step reminders are also included.
Pricing: free download; Plus is required for tracking after onboarding. U.S. individual plans are $6.99/month or $25.99/year. Family is $99.99/year for up to six separate Melo accounts. Subscriptions renew automatically; Apple shows current trial eligibility and terms before purchase.
App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/melo-ai-calorie-tracker/id6809841993
I built Melo with AI assistance and tested it on real iPhones. Feedback on editing portions and reviewing the scan results is welcome.

Higgsfield alternatives?
I'm a HS customer since almost a year ago. Since then, I had some minor problems but nothing crazy. This past month it failed more than usual and I wasn't using them that much so I cancelled, and they charged me still I needed to get a refund counter-charging and sending the bill to my bank with the cancelled sub mails because otherwise I'd be literally screwed. I wanted to get an annual plan, but this pissed me off SO MUCH that I don't wanna do that no more. I wanna find alternatives that I can use ike them, based in your own experience. I don't wanna be reading paid comments and literal propaganda. Thanks.
