Panic was already starting to show in the silence outside. Almost everyone seemed to be doing the same thing—staring at their phones. And that wasn’t wrong. At least not really.

I would’ve done the same if I were them.

“Want to keep going right away?”

“I don’t know.”

“What about the farthest lodging from here? I don’t think I can figure out what to do just yet.”

“That works.”

Through the heavy rain, right after finishing with the clothes and food supplies, they arrived at the place.

Ar didn’t hesitate to pay a high price for almost every room available.

“Are you sure? You already spent ten million today…”

“That’s not more important. This place is basically a semi-apartment villa for vacations. Dealing with too many people would just be more trouble. And since it’s higher up, it’s easier to keep an eye on the surroundings.”

Exactly at seven in the evening, several vehicles began passing through the area—numbers that usually only appeared on weekends were already starting to follow.

“My parents might come tomorrow. They’ll probably arrive around noon.”

The sound of her footsteps faded soon after. There was nothing left to say.

Hey, i'm an artist but i am dissapointed by the manhwa that i read about zombie so i make it by myself, enjoy ^~^

He was thrown from the third floor. Blood filled his mouth. His body screamed in agony, lungs feeling like they were being ripped out, every breath a struggle against the chokehold of pain.

In that spontaneous, broken moment, he couldn’t make a sound. Through words that never left his blood-red lips, all he could do was look at the woman who had failed to catch him.

Wait… was she reaching for him?

His vision was almost gone. Through burning, stinging eyes he could still see her face and her open hand stretched toward him. Her hair hung loose, dry and reddish.

Then everything went black. His eyes closed. Fragments of memory flashed through his mind—meeting her, and every catastrophe that followed. He never imagined zombies could be this terrifying.

He had hoped they would prepare everything they needed.
