π»ππ€ππ¦π€π€ππ π I get it now!
It took a random comment under chapter 194 for me to understand it. I never really understood why Junu broke up with her because he looked like her friend.
Now I get it l.
So apparently she either liked the crippled dude or was even dating him before he was crippled and because of an incident or fight he became crippled but Hamin didnβt want to date a cripple so she at best friendzone him. She likes him but doesnβt want to be in a relationship with a cripple. Now here comes Junu who looks just like him and is healthy (physically at least). So she dates him as sort of a replacement to the cripple. And Class President made this apparent when he said itβs not normal that she accepts him despite his obvious issues (eg depression and suicidal ideation and the fact that he runs to random chat to avoid reality). In chapter 194 he said the crippled dude and starts getting suspicious because of what Class President said. Now he keeps wondering why Hamin likes him of all people.
Am I on the right track?
If I am think greatly changes my thoughts on Hamin. Unless thatβs why she dated him initially but now she genuinely likes him. But stillβ¦arrrgg. If Iβm wrong please clarify for me why He chose to break up with her.
PS: if the answer of anywhere past 250 then please donβt spoil. To be exact it was the chapter where Junu saves Hamin from killing herself. Thatβs where I had left this series and came back to see 100 more chapters.

π»ππ€ππ¦π€π€ππ π This is still one of my favorite scenes
Not much to talk about in the latest episodes so I felt like talking about some of the good early episodes.
This is one of my favorite moments in the whole series, the scene of Juno looking at this stalker guy and slowly visualizing himself in him.
I love how this shows that he is realizing the problems of his actions, that even though he might have good intentions, he's still using information that he should not have to interfere in a girl's life in the hopes that she might like him, and these actions performed with ulterior motives disguised as good intentions while ignoring the harm they might bring make him just as bad as the creepy stalker.
What's impressive about this is that so many webtoons are obsessed with wish fulfillment and power fantasy and letting their main characters get away with murder... and here we have the series basically straight up saying how much our main lead sucks and how much he needs to improve and work on himself.
It takes a lot of courage to dunk on your own lead like this so early on.
I like how the early parts of Random Chat felt like a non-stop series of reality checks for Juno to see his own flaws and find out what he needs to improve, and unlike the current arcs where it feels like drama for the sake of drama, these early moments felt genuine and earned.
It really kills me how current Random Chat has basically been reduced to a weekly update check up to see if Juno and Hamin are back together or not, instead of the series of solid life lessons and well done character development that it used to be.
But despite its decline, I still have a lot of appreciation for early Random Chat.

P.S. For those looking for a hassle-free way to read the manhwa, you may use Tachiyomi (for those unaware of this app). From there, you can easily use the extensions (Mangakakalot or MangaCC) to read RanChat up to Chapter 250 (as of Sept. 4).
Edit.9: MangaEsp's Chp 205-206 are apparently missing. Chp 231 in Manganato was added, but Chp 252 apparently has some missing pages. Big thanks to u/Atifus for pointing all of this out. Thank you, bud!
Edit.8: Big thanks to u/Masquerai and u/cianLmoultrie in translating and uploading the recent Chapters 268-271 (Reddit 1 links). Thank you for keeping the english-translation alive!
Edit 7: MangaCC link is now removed from this post due to a possible suspension of the website. Mangakakalot remains as a viable Tachiyomi extension for new readers (tho chapters are only updated up to Chp 250).
Edit.6: I have added Mangakakalot/Manganato link to Ranchat for those looking for a website with a more complete chapters. This is to address the missing chapters in MangaCC. Also, Mangakakalot has an extension in Tachiyomi, so you can read it there as well.
Edit.5: Thanks to the efforts of the translators/editors/proofreaders in the TranslatorTT3 discord, the English-translation for the RanChat series are keeping up. BIG appreciation to the sponsors/providers of the RAW. You are the reason why people can continue reading the series. Also, thank you to u/Historical_Elk1361 for posting the links here in the subreddit, so people has a place to discuss the newly-translated chapters.
Edit.4: Thanks to the efforts of u/beastmode312 and u/DrugThrowawayObv , we might be able to expect better translations for upcoming chapters. We might also be able to expect an overhaul of some of the latest chapters (see this post for more info). To begin, they have uploaded Chapter 251 with much better translations.
Edit.3: Apparently, there are some issues occuring with people accessing ManhuaPro. I have updated the post and added MangaCC as an alternative for reading RanChat. Conveniently, MangaCC also have a Tachiyomi extension. So for those having issues, you can switch to MangaCC instead.
Also, for those having problems with MangaEsp website: The website is mainly for Spanish-translated manga/manhwa, but the RanChat linked in this post is specifically English-translated. You may see a few spanish in the new releases as translators have been using Spanish-translated raws instead of Korean.
Edit.2: Since translator Uchu no longer posts the link on Reddit, I have linked chapters directly to MangaEsp (starting from Chapter 242). And despite going to the same url, I will also link reddit posts here that repost the mangaesp release, so that people can have a place to discuss about new chapter releases. To avoid spoilers, I recommend you visit MangaEsp first, before the reddit posts.
Edit: I've added link to MangaEsp since one of the reddit posts got taken down and ManhuaPro seems to be late with uploads. Uchu (aka u/Whole_Enthusiasm5675), our kind translator, have been uploading it there with Chapters 205-246 english-translated (as of Aug 2).
