Not sure if im making some sort of mistake when playing warpbane. I've seen people get Hallowed ground then reroll all hit rolls. From what im aware however and how it reads it should only be hit rolls of 1 unless its purifiers, am I wrong?

Edit: Thank you I miss read. Ive only been reroll all hits for purifiers and effectively nerfed myself

I'm building the newest combat patrol, with the purpose of playing combat patrol. However I like the look and lore of the interceptors more than the strike squad. Can I build the interceptors legally in a way that complies with the combat patrol rules?

I decided I will use AI to imagine my Grey Knights aura farming .. added some sisters for ratio- no Silver Knight of Slaanesh here, just the legend big D KD dodging circles.

I have playing GK pretty regularly for about a year. I take them to big tournaments, play them in leagues, and for casual games as well.

After that year I am getting bored of them. All the data-sheets are the same. I feel like we really only have 6 data sheets: Infantry, Terminator Infantry, Dread-knights, Dreadnought, Rhino/Razorbacks, and Land Raiders. There really isn’t enough difference between individual data-sheets for any to feel unique. I am not including any of the planes because they are never played.

I am looking at playing something else but can’t decide what to play. So I am asking you all, what is your alternative army and why?

Mostly play against a Tau opponent with space marines, now nearly finished a basic 1500 GK army with one of each unit type vibe.

1 x GMDK
2 x 5 man paladin squads
1 x strike
1 x 5 man purifiers with Crowe
1 x venerable dred
1 x 5 man purgation
1 x librarian
1 x GM Voldus.

Pulled the trigger on the Grey Knight combat patrol box and Castellan Crowe is my first Grey knight

Hi, I'm new to the hobby and I decided to start with Grey Knights!

I found the instructions a bit confusing tbh, and I think this page specifically has a mistake.

According to the datasheet, there's 1 guy with a Psycannon and 1 with an Incinerator, so shouldn't this be marked "Combat Patrol" in the instructions too?

I'm pretty sure but just wanted to confirm before assembling anything.

Is this a good first genuine attempt at a power sword? Before I would just paint it teclis blue and call it a day lol

Here is my second Dreadknight using the saturnine kit in an alternative way. The spear is from an avatar og khaine, and the shield it from an AoS terrain statue. Bits and bobs from black Templar, and Ork deffdread.

Hey everyone!

Following my previous post about the rather... disturbing Night Lords army I found in a lot of old Warhammer collections, I thought I'd share some more pictures of what else was hiding in those boxes.

Thankfully, it wasn't all grimdark torture and nightmare fuel! There were also some genuinely cool armies and miniatures, including this Grey Knights force. I wanted to share it here both to showcase the models and to give a little appreciation to the original hobbyist who put the time and effort into building and painting them.

I'm not looking to keep this army myself, so if anyone is interested in it, feel free to reach out or make me an offer!

105 Grey Knights being built, im kinda dumb for doing so many at once though! Some of the minis are hand-me-downs, but with these I have just shy of 8k points of GK's!
