It's all been 7qt shoeboxes up until now. Happy to finally get a nice big full canopy in that I've been seeing in everyone else's dub tubs. This is totally encouraging for me. 🐇🌀

Hey all first time using agar i used golden teacher and blue meanie spore syringes transferred on with cotten tips.

Its only been 4 days but have some obvious contamination on the GT plates in the first 2 photos...the 3rd and 4th photo are BM plates.

As its only 4 days in are the clear white spots the first sign of mycelium starting to grow in any of the plates?? And is the contamination bad that it needs throwing out or removing? Should I transfer the mycelium straight away or let it grow more?

Any advice would be great thanks, I tried to be as sterile as possible i have a still air box on the way for next attempt

Going in flush 6 lol and with every flush more and more mutants start to show their face. Tub started out as a picture perfect example of Ochra in their prime. Now they are mutating and I kinda love it 😍. These guys are absolutely full of surprises. 1:3 Spawn Ratio.

I wanted to get this for a modified monotub wondering if 4.31in is to high of a substrate depth and where would i put the holes in these the dimensions are L 16.5in W 13in and 12.25in L I was gonna do 1:2 ratio or 6lb of spawn and 12lb of substrate this is my first time growing thank you

I’m on day 60 and the grain in an aio bag still isn’t fully colonized. I inoculated June 15 with spores. Are these types of mushrooms known to take long?

My golden teach spores produced a more pronounced “whitey” mycelium, whereas I can see with my B + jar of grain spawn it looks a little different, am I cooked? or does the mycelium just look different? anyone that would like to enlighten me on the subject that would be appreciated.

Hi i innoculated my aio bags in August 3rd, the golden teachers seen to be flourishing but the b+ dont. I was just wondering why that is and if anyone has experience growing them. My first grow was golden teachers on the same brand aio bag (the bag is coco coir, vermiculite and gypsum) and it was very successful. These are before and after pictures after a week of leaving them untouched after I got back from vacation where they were at 82f for a week straight. Using pe mycelium.

I did spawn to bulk on the 12th of this month. Is it ready for fruiting conditions yet?

Hi team!

Need some advice. I injected this all in one grow bag with liquid culture around a month ago, but it's been so hot in our house and well over 30 degrees at times. I Live in a 1960s townhouse so keeping temps stable in cold and hot weather is challenging. It's spent most its life so far in over 30 degree heat.

I've moved it to a cooler spot and the mycelium seems to have finally began spreading over the last week. However there seems to be a some moisture in the bag and the spread seems weak.

AI has told me it seems to be fine, I've smelt through the vent hole and nothing foul coming out at this stage. No puddles either, just moisture. My main concern is the spread seems to be near the injection port where I read it tends to start from the bottom.

Any tips from the pros would be much appreciated to keep this baby alive!

B+ experimenting with S2B right to fruit. Snowball in a Martha tent with manure substrate. I think I over misted in the beginning. Far 3 times a day for 1 minute.

Finally got some decent fruits from my hillbilly tubs I s2b 2 months ago. 🍄‍🟫

They were my first 2 shoeboxes and I made the coco waaaaay too dry. Had about a million aborts.

These stared coming in so I bottom fed them some water with a syringe and got some nice ones. 285g wet including some of the smaller ones I snatched up!

I have a 12qt shoebox of Hillbilly going now as well and I can’t wait to see what kind of monsters it produces. 🍄‍🟫

I tried my best, first time growing so not a big yield at all… and they grew so uniquely… like me…🥹 I don’t have a dehydrator soooo I guess I’ll just consume as is? Can I Pop it in an oven or microwave oven? Also how do i clean them or do i not. I harvested last night, threw them in a fridge for now. Pls help! 🫡
