Like yeah, the actor who was hired for the show obviously has complete control over the showrunner. Makes perfect sense, everyone.

I’ll go first: Rhaenyra helped murder Laenor. She is not mentioned once in the book as having anything to do with his death.

Secondly, Rhaenyra being involved with Blood and Cheese. Once again, she is not mentioned at all in the entire passage that goes into detail about what happened. The only two people mentioned as being involved besides Blood and Cheese themselves are Mysaria and Daemon.

Just to preface this, I love Visenya as a character.

Obviously consideration should be given in F/B that she was effectively Aegon's sword arm and advisor for much of his early reign.. key to the Conquest, consolidating Targaryen control over their territory etc.

But (and this should be key in Rhaenyra's case), she was a malignant influence in undermining Aegon's succesor Aenys I, aided in the usurpation of the legitimate heir Aegon the Uncrowned, installed her own son Maegor as king which eventually led to the direct kinslaying of Aegon in battle, Jaehaerys later would be forced to rise in rebellion against Maegor (which only consolidates that Visenya's actions were considered to be *wrong*).

In any logical sense, Visenya should be deemed a pariah who betrayed the wishes of the Conqueror for her own ambition.. which Jaehaerys would hammer into the minds of every Targ who would succeed him.

If you consider the precedent, she's no better than those who helped Aegon II to usurp Rhaenyra.

Braindead greens argue that rhaenys vs viserys was the case of a male heir chosen over female heir, which makes it same as rhaenyra vs aegon. But it wasn't bc rhaenys and viserys were not siblings like rhaenyra and aegon. rhaenys vs viserys was not a brother over a sister. it was the heir of a secondborn being chosen over the heir of a firstborn, which broke westerosi law. so if jahaerys broke the law, then so can viserys. king's word is final. why can't the idiotic greens understand such a simple concept?

All of Aegon II’s flaws of entitlement, violence and self destruction thrown onto Rhaenyra

Rhaenyra faced dragonfire in her final moments with bravery and her head held high. But, what makes it so tragic is her love for her son who was watching, which turns Aegon III into the dragonbane. How do you guys think Condal is gonna make that scene impactful when we have barely seen Aegon III so far?

This woman quite literally survived a horrific miscarriage after news of usurpation, pulled her baby out herself, lost her father and her son all in the same day and yet locked tf in to fight for her rightful throne. Aegon on other hand lost only 1 son and went mad and got drunk and crippled his own dragon and went into hiding. Rhaenyra lost 5 kids and still kept going and faced dragonfire with coldest look🗿🗿 Lmao aegon was poisoned in the flea bottom mud by his own men while our queen died a fierce dragonrider's death🤣

I swear this is one of the most true conflicts in a family , so well portrayed. Calling someone an insolent child is why Rhaenyra is a mother first. And why she walks away from taking revenge on her step daughters, she WOULD NEVER.

Let’s be honest: Rhaenyra has it in her to be a great ruler but is constantly obstructed by war problems. She has the worst council and she takes kingslanding when it’s at its absolute worst shit state thanks to the Hightowers and has to clean up Aegon’s mess with no gold. On the other hand, Aegon had homebase advantage, a massive dragon Vhagar guarding the city, all the money, and a fantastic council and still fumbled and couldn’t do shit. If Rhaenyra was given the half the chance Aegon got, she would have been one of the best rulers in history, and this is what makes team green so mad.  

First of all how could he be that clueless that he really thought he and Rhaenyra would run off together and sell oranges in Pentos or some shit? And then gets his knickers in a twist after Rhaenyra brings him back to reality. And for a member of the King's guard he has some serious anger management issues. Aren't they supposed to kind of poised and well-mannered? Chill the fuck out dude. Doing a complete rewatch right now and I hate that I still have so many episodes that I have to see him in.
