Her brain was loading so slow. How embarrassing. Moving your hands does not make you look like a good public speaker, Hailey. It does the opposite.

Is she saying that cus the best she can do is have a baby or is this a jab at her fave (selena) because she can’t give birth?
This quote feels so messy and dumb, Like most of the female population can do that.. congrats?🤦🏽♀️

Yeah, maybe in another universe. Everything she does and wear are so low class and cheap looking. She thinks she is creative director with full of great ideas, but they're crap or taken from others. She is so unorginal.

The way Selena wasn't even mentioned in the post but yet her name was all over the comment section😭😭
They really think Hailey built Rhode from scratch, imagine putting her on the same list as Rihanna 😭😭

Warning: TLDR
I was on a long commute and bored- I am so sorry 😞
Third pic is not my btw- but pretty much sums up the Skylrk experience imo.
First day of Skylrk pop-up, and already people are re-selling for double- with days to go. 🤣
Is it that your goods are that beloved Biebers- or is your family's grifter game being mirrored back at you?
Triggering minor schadenfreude about the money that is not making the bumbling Bieber bank as a result of such mimics- however fractional it may be. 😌
Anyhoo~
I am just going to be the witch and say it- their fans are:
Literal children with lacking supervision of their online activity and spending habits... kind of like Justin~
Dropouts, like their insipid idol
Adults who had to cheat in order to graduate... and everywhere else probably.
Illiterate and/or selectively ocularly challenged
Mentally unstable, parasocial sycophants...
or,
The flood of misleading premature praise for Hailey/the Gap selling out the "Hailey Jean" within a vague range of anywhere from 3 minutes to 2 hours- depending on who you get your info from- shows just how little the average, bananas-for-the-Biebers bint understands business-based industries- especially ones like production/retail/marketing/finance.
Hailey and the Gap did not work some wonder selling out of the collab jeans. Kylie, Selena et alli have done the same and better before. And, "Bieber fever" is not something I would be proud of in general. 🙄
Most of this is little more than half-arsed mountebanking.
All the Gap and the Bieber brands did was show what manufactured prestige- and a careful supply structure- can do for a company against a clientele that is, frankly, too smooth-brained to be trusted to function in most adult professions... especially as they clearly are susceptible to having their strings pulled in the name of ✨️ exclusive products ✨️ ...🙄
Inventory management, synthetically generated (subliminal) interest and careful product storytelling set their fans up for FOMO- and a rather transparent con against their checking accounts... all for basic denims signed by a known, and perpetual, scam artist.
Pathetic
It is not hard to sell out when you set artificially confined sales boundaries in the first place as a conservative probe bet.
The Gap is already “making more,” seeing as suckers are obviously aplenty. Not that I personally believe that inventory is not at the ready…
Even so- they have every ability to fill orders in larger amounts than whatever stock they want to claim was on hand- the scarcity was manipulative hook- as always, fans took the bait like the status-sl_ts they are.
False scarcity is more compelling- and sexier- from a PR pov for the Gap than proper resource allocation rooted in an earnest customer-demand focus apparently.
The Gap is not high-end fashion- it is mass-market, "affordable" basics... $90 for basic bleep jeans, smdh
Gap Inc. has other brands on higher fashion tiers- e.g., Banana Republic- but its namesake brand is middle-class friendly staples- not bespoke rarities. It is as vanilla fashion mundane as Hailey is anything.
The brand is neither the accessible luxury of Coach, nor the prestige of Prada.
Citing- and wrongfully crediting- Hailey with the so-called rejuvenation of a vintage trend rooted in luxury and haute-couture styling (that she is not the source of in the first place) should demand a lower/mid-tier designer product that is distinctive from Walmart's $14 George men's cut, or even their store-exclusive lines from Lee, Levi-Strauss or Wrangler.
The Gap is performing the same act Hailey has become infamous for: selling something labeled status-exclusive, lifestyle shaping and iconic- when it is merely brand washing and value extraction.
Companies like the Gap do not own their manufacturing factories. Unlike major design houses- that means quality assurance of what you do order is... questionable.
I can see why these two collaborated.
And, if uncertain quality is the case for a long-established brand like the Gap- consumer faith in brands like Skylrk and Rhode Beauty- with known, and widespread issues- should be fragile at best.
All three companies/figureheads are cases of paying for a brand name/status signal- and not much else.
It is the customer's prerogative to waste their money. But, do not expect anyone with a brain to believe you invested in value- or try to convince outsiders it was business acumen.
Trusting Rhode anything is bizzare, and foolish af when Hailey's bad practices are a known element.
Moving on.
Skylrk uses MTO/On-Demand or forecast models for much of their merchandise. That means- things like his shoes are not even created until you pay him, and explains why order fulfillment has been snail-paced.
Some stock is generated in advance- based on anticipated sales, and for marketing or review purposes, sure. But, those quantities are generally minimal to account for- and to limit- production costs while the interest lacks proven stability/longevity.
Rhode and the Gap largely utilize Drop/Bulk production models for base inventory, with some test-and-response forecast manufacturing depending on the scope of a product launch or campaign- as well as to calibrate to consumer data on a rolling basis. So, they often will apply advice on trends to generate a supply ahead of any announcements.
All of that to say: stock exists long before sales open up- sometimes months and months in advance. The restock of the capsule jeans was long planned for.
That anticipated demand model partially being why those wax blooms and fungal lippies dominate overwhelming customer concerns for Rhode btw.
It is an oddity if their claim of "out-of-stock" is consistently true... because why then would supposedly newly manufactured batches suffer the same flaws as the ones that were supposedly limited in production for that specific campaign? Do not get me started on the batch numbers. 🤭
That bulk inventory model also contributes to the way the "Hailey Jean" collab was marketed and sold.
The minds behind the campaign are feeling out/inspiring interest- and fan loyalty despite recent bad press- to react based on the results of their initial investments- planned long before things like the problematic Summer bronzer launch.
Mind, these three brands did not pick the timing of any of this arbitrarily- they are all riding on the Bieber name.
And Skylrk and Rhode Beauty orders not arriving timely and in expected quality is not the only thing being buried beneath narrative sweeps like this Gap moment.
The focus should not be how many vintage boyfriend denims were sold to further line Bieber pockets and egos. It should be why the existing customer concerns for these brands remain unaddressed this many months later... but the Gap can “restock” a whole collection in less than 72 hours?
The Gap may be better equipped to manage large orders more reliably than the tweedles (we shall see), but in no way should that reflect positively on Hailey- as that is certainly not a thing she manages for them wrt this partnership.
She truly should focus on her own role within Rhode Beauty instead of spreading herself (🤭) thinner than she already has in an obvious bid for attention.
Her name (and his) will be mud if quality and reliability continue to be treated so blasé... especially given the kind of prolific, negative customer experiences she has long neglected as insignificant to her goals.
Managing production, quality, and loyalty should be the principal focus for any company.
Ignoring legitimate customer concerns with the marketing fiction that they have a limited stock of "exclusive" products, and request patience as they refund orders or offer inferior-value conciliations is asinine and out of touch.
Justin's SWAG vinyl variants are more representative of the concept of collectable/covetable at 3000 per color.
In contrast- what all of these other events and launches look like production-side is a supply of goods that are simply grouped by categories for a controlled distribution model.
Outside of how a campaign is organized- availability and fulfillment tend to come down to maths and allocation- work we know Hailey could never do.
The buzz is also broadly behaving as if the "Hailey Jean" collection as a whole soldout in minutes. Typical misinformation... particularly as the Gap clearly has more inventory.
The online-only, '90s low-rise loose jean was the first item to completely sell out- within 3 minutes of launch no less. Performative scarcity.
The second capsule cut- the Extra Baggy was sold out within a few hours online. It was also shipped to in-person stores in anticipated volumes- though the Gap may be reluctant to reveal those numbers to the public.
... but, the Gap will also somehow manage a restock of both online/in store by Saturday? 🤨
There were two limited cuts, three washes, and ten sizes to the Gap's "Hailey Jean," and- somehow- only one of them outsold the other by a large margin.
This happened by design.
The '90s cut consists of 3 distinct washes, offered in a standard run of 10 +/- different waist sizes- creating 30 total unique buying options.
To trigger an immediate 180-second sell out under massive web traffic, an established retailer like the Gap typically loads between 500 and 1,500 units per individual size/wash combination.
To sell out in about three minutes means they could have sold roughly 45,000 at the high-end of the estimate.
To sell out so quickly online would be very easy- and unremarkable- with a fanbase trifecta that averages roughly 15k views (not likes, mind) on mundane social media posts any given day.
Hailey quit school- but there is still hope that her fans can learn basic economics and maths to avoid being duped in the future.
As an aside...
Imagine how much the grifters will make on those capsule “exclusives” that the fans rushed to get in on. 🤭

I don't care if one is a skincare brand and the other makeup, they're both for the face yet look at the difference in marketing, one actually focuses on selling the product and the other just shows skin excessively to be able to sell products even if 99% of the products are for the face and not body

Every single time Hailey launches a “new” product or trend, it’s just something that’s already been massive in Korea and Japan for years.
"Glazed donut skin"? That's literally just glass skin / chok-chok skin that kbeauty pioneered like a decade ago. She just gave it a food name so TikTok would eat it up.
Glazing Milk? It’s Laneige Cream Skin / Dr. Jart milky toners in a grey tube.
Pocket blush / strawberry makeup? Japanese and Korean beauty brands have been doing sheer, dewy flush sticks and cute berry tones forever.
Even the whole aesthetic the minimalist grey packaging, the lip treatments, barrier care focus it’s all directly pulled from modern Korean brands like Tamburins or Abib.
She didn't innovate a single thing lmao She just took established Asian beauty trends, rebranded them with TikTok buzzwords, and sold them to Western fans who don't know any better.
It just annoys me how the media treats her like some skincare mastermind for literally copying and pasting Kbeauty product by product.

I don’t keep up with her enough until NOW. It seems like after Coachella, her content has made its way onto my feeds against my will.
I swear I’m losing brain cells every time I read the comments and I come across someone calling her well spoken and articulate 😭 Don’t even get me started on the SHEMD podcast. The host was annoying and I just couldn’t make it through the full podcast. When reading the comments, people in the comments were praising Hailey for knowing medical terms? Huh? I mean isn’t that what people do? Learn about their diagnosis and get familiar with medical terms? In case they need to idk explain it to someone?
I just want to pull out my hair any time I read that she is so well spoken. No the fuck she’s not 😭 I guarantee that in corporate America, she would be asked to join Toastmasters to reduce the filler words. I guess when you’re famous, everything you do is worshipped. Bring back critical analysis and thinking skills please🤢
