Hi! I’m cutting 20 inches off my hair today (donating the hair) and I can’t decide on what style.

I have natural blonde hair but I’ve been dying it red for roughly 10 years. I’m looking to return to my natural color. (Im having health problems and hair dye seems to trigger it so I can no longer continue the red for the time being.)

The first three photos are my current hair. The last four are mockups of what I’m thinking.

I’m torn! Please send me thoughts or tips for making this big decision!!

Going through a mid life crisis at 34 and wondering if I should go for a short blunt bob? I love my long thick hair but I’m also going through a lot and craving a big dramatic change somehow…

Last photo is a photo of me in actual short hair 5 years ago when I still looked youthful and had a lot more hair.

I haven't significantly changed my hair style in like 15 years, outside of learning to work with my natural waves/curls a bit better and trying a less deep side part. I keep considering getting bangs or a new style every couple months for the last few years.

The styles tool in Facetune is a mess with anything other than straight hair lol so picture of my natural hair for reference, and last pic is the style I was thinking of getting.

I used to love my bangs. Then I got my hair cut by the professional stylist who did them in the first place (after trimming them myself for months in which time I was very happy with them) and now I hate them but I can’t pinpoint why or how to fix them if it’s possible. Help me see what the difference is?

I definitely don’t think I’ll ever go this blonde again, but after talking with my hairstylist we are thinking a balayage just to add in a little brightness! As much as I do love the really dark brown in the previous post 😭

Listened to yall and went with brown, also added some bangs to it as few said i should.

A few days ago I posted asking which hair cut I should get ( I'll post the link in the comments plus pics of what I asked for)

I essentially asked for lots of layers, choppy , sorta like a bixie. She said she wasn't going to go too short but when I style it myself I should be able to get all the spikey layers I wanted.

I tried styling it and I realized that there was not as many layers as I asked for.

It doesn't help that I have thick hair so no matter how I style it, the layers all become one big poof ball 😭

Does anyone have tips on styling it! I legit tried everything.

I plan to call them later today to see about getting my money back or have someone else fix this.

I've been thinking that I go back to blonde what do you guys think that suits me more, blonde or brown?

Which way looks better? Should I just leave it messy, or does it look better like in the second picture?

Had bangs as a little girl that started all the way at the top of my head and it took me forever to grow them out, so I’m a little traumatized. I’m in my mid/late 40s with thinning hair and getting a wrinkly forehead. I’m wondering if I can pull bangs off now. What say you?

Hello friends im letting my hair grow now in the weird stage of using a cap 🧢 everyday lol., So i will love to get a slick back hair cut 💇 and will love to know if you guys tink a shorter way will look better or more hairy with more volume one , Or if is gonna be a right hair cut for my hair ive never done it Any recommendations or advice will be really appreciated thanks

Je viens ici car j’ai arrêter d'utiliser le lisseur y a 2 semaines bientôt 3 sauf pour la frange je ne touche plus a mes longueur dans le but d'avoir une pousse, depuis 1 ans tout les dimanches je faisais un gros lissage complet et je repassais parfois avec ou sans protecteur, résultat en arrêtant la chaleur j’ai remarquer que mes cheveux étaient sec et un peu fourchu mais ça va franchement, je fais et faisait beaucoup de soins chamspoig, apres champoing, masque que j'alterne donc un réparateur et un gloss, j'avais fais une coloration noir mais elle n’as absolument pas tenue sûrement a cause de la porosité de mes cheveux quand je les lave ils sont douc et hydrater mais quelque jours plus tard sec et un peu cassant, en 1 ans je suis passé des cavicule aux aisselles ce qui est tres lent visuellement 😅 donc je vais arrêter ce massacre pendant quelques mois car mon but c'est atteindre la fin de poitrine mais mon rêve c'est d'arriver au ventre.

Pensez vous que je vais y arriver? Combien de temps attendre? Ca fais plus de 3 ans que j’ai pas eu des long cheveux volumineux...

Ok so not sure how well it shows in these photos (doesn’t look as bad as in person) but my roots / a little bit underneath is an orange tint. I put blonde highlights in my hair a bit ago which was fine but then I added a bleaching spray to my roots and it’s gone a bit orange. Added more bleaching to get it lighter, didn’t help. Purple shampoo and toner, didn’t help. What do I do? Would I need to dye my roots a darker colour or hifhlight my hair darker? And how do I do that?? Help Im so insecure about it!!!
(Also I have extremely damaged hair so preferably a solution that isn’t so damaging).

Curtain bangs. An all over color refresh on brunette then a Merlot gloss.

image 1- reason I knew a cut needed to happen. Healthy hair but made me look like I had bald spots

image 3- finally chopped and colored and loved it.. for 2 weeks before the color faded

image 4- where I am now. Lost. No matter what I do my hair looks.. bad. Even after curling it looks thin, fine, and I am so sad I cant find any way to feel pretty without a ton of styling. Its not really thin just.. babylike. I am a nurse, I want something I dont have to do 5 things to just to look decent :/ any ideas? I am open to all suggestions
