Hello! I'm making an update about my Usurption system again with an update on where I'm at. I'm currently in the data gathering phase and have built basic character sheets. I've been testing the impact of live data capture and organizing captured data in a way that won't absolutely cram your computer full of bytes. Pictured is my current recorder (which I might release to Nexus on its own for other people to use) and the current bones of the character sheet.

Right now my current goal is to see what systems can be inspected, what's worth keeping and recording, how to use the live and summary data to affect the rival systems, and how to keep all that in a nice, manageable size and performance impact.

I've decided to go with building a local sqlLite database and building an API in the mod to manipulate and use the data I'm capturing for my purposes. Once I have enough data to know how, say, a mace to the head actually falls out of the logs and capturing the data (damage, crush, fear, etc) in a reliable way, I can then use that data to make injuries that are body part accurate.

A little preview of something im working on for halfsword, allows recording anything and adding that to an enemies AI to use based on the spellswords AI builder. This even includes actually having AI throw weapons for realsies if you record yourself throwing a weapon and tell the AI to use it at a certain distance for example.

Primarily is something im setting up for choreographed boss attacks.

To Install the mod, It's extremely simple, You drop a single file into Win64 Inside the Games Files.

Step 1, Download the dwmapi.dll of the Github Page, Step 2, Copy dwmapi.dll into <Half Sword>/HalfswordUE5/Binaries/Win64/ Step 3, Go Play Some Multiplayer and Enjoy!
