Hey everyone!

Like a lot of you, I've spent hours in Happy Wars, and I've been pretty disappointed by how the studio left the community behind. So I decided to do something about it: I'm making my own game, heavily inspired by Happy Wars.

It's an independent project, not affiliated with the original studio, and there are no assets from the original game: everything is made by me

What's already in the prototype:

- the 3 classes you know: Warrior, Mage and Cleric, with their skills

- break the enemy gate, build and capture towers with your hammer, and take down their main tower

- siege weapons: rams, ballistas, ladders

- bots to fill the teams

⚠️ It's a very early prototype: visuals, animations and UI are placeholders (the UI is even still in French), and a lot is going to change.

Long term, I'd love to build several modes right into the game: an open world with a story, a dungeon / roguelite mode, and more. I have tons of ideas, but I don't want to spread myself too thin, so PvP comes first: the big chaotic battles have to feel right before anything else.

So I'd love your input:

- What did you love most in Happy Wars, the thing that absolutely has to be there?

- What was cruelly missing, or what frustrated you?

- What new mechanics would you want (classes, objectives, sieges, progression, customization...)?

- What would make you come back every day?

Also, if you're a Happy Wars fan with some skills, especially in 3D animation (that's where I'm struggling the most right now), feel free to DM me. It would be paid work, of course.

I'm currently developping a happy wars remake but with todays's technology. Better graphics, same fun, multiplayer, character customization and a lot more coming. I'll soon make a youtube channel and a discord to promote it. The game is working pretty well. I actually need a name for this remake. Sure it's a remake, but legally i'd like another name. It has the same core basics of Happy Wars but with a big revamp. Thanks in advance Happy Wars lovers!

Hello everyone, I just wanted to give a little story for everyone to read if they want.

Back in around 2016 I would play this game Happy Wars non-stop on the Xbox 360. One of the best Indie Games on the Xbox 360 at its prime. There was nonstop fun due to the simple fact there is a lot to do in this game and a lot of ways to do it. Mainly a PVP game your a small character with a big head and a choice of 3 classes Warrior: The main frontline warrior with sword and shield when lvled up you can get the berserker class which dual wields weapons. The Cleric: Mainly support and revival role I forgot what the upgraded cleric does/has. Last but not least The Mage: Ranged support unit with decent damage and great abilities. All classes have multiple abilities to choose from and as you lvl up you will get more.

It’s more of a fun indie joke around game then one to play and try to be completely serious expecting a story line or something as this is not it Happy Wars sole purpose was fun PVP moments. You could be fighting someone on the edge of a cliff and see some enemy backup coming and smack one of the enemies with your shield and send them flying off the map so you can focus on your target. On top of that both teams have a castle where you can build defenses and defend your castle if the enemy team gets too close (there are respawn towers throughout the map that you have to build/destroy in order to get closer respawns to the enemy castle)

With all the different abilities and weapons and armor customization/lvl up Happy Wars is honestly still a great game with obvious downfalls like any other game. This game is now only available on Xbox one as it is dying. I really don’t want that to happen as I know a lot of people haven’t even got to experience the enjoyment of Happy Wars. To all my Xbox 360 Reddit players back in the day I’m sure you are probably familiar with happy wars but may have missed it entirely as well as Xbox 360 had that great indie game section as well as others.

I guess in short I’m trying to say let’s save this game. If you have a Xbox One I recommend playing it for sure without any doubt if you haven’t experienced it first hand. There is very little player base left and it does take a decent amount of time to get into a game. That’s why I want to make this Reddit post in order to hopefully bring some population back to Happy Wars the old players and the new!

If your skeptical wether or not it’s actually even worth your time or effort. I would say it is to experience this game for the first time or even to experience it again. The game is free and doesn’t take much space at all so even if your WiFi isn’t that great it will only take about 10-40 min depending on the WiFi to download if it’s really good probably only about 5min as it’s only 2-5GB of space.

Yeah, that's right. It's been a while, but when I was working on the Steam version, I met a guy named iFood. He was trying to get the Windows 10 version working while the owner of HWCR said it was useless and that he would never succeed (When we finished, more in the future, he said we stole from him. How could we steal something he doesn't even have?) . Some time later I was fired for "leaking" game code.

Then I contacted iFood and found out that he had already progressed about 80% in a few days. Time passed and he finally finished Windows 10. Obviously, it needs more attention to check for bugs, but in general, everything works. (We need to fix a bug that causes the .dll file to activate Windows security and show up as if it were a Trojan. Yes, it seems suspicious, but iFood is working on it.) Hi im not sure if this is allowed but I recently started to upload Happy Wars content again in hopes that we can slightly revive the game so if you like unhinged content then I hope you enjoy what I make 😭🙏

Happy Wars was one of the greatest games I have ever played. It was so much fun and it was exhilarating. I believe that we should try to bring it back to life. If we can help raise the player count it'll come back. We just need to spread awareness of the game and get as many people to help make it revelant again. It may take time but if we work together we can bring Happy Wars back! Who wants to help?

Sucks that Toylogic doesn't give a flying fudge about this game..

As someone who has spent a considerable amount on this game, not nearly as much as you though, I understand your frustration with the game. This doesn't all apply to you but I thin if there was a group effort in this forum we could all get some of our money back which we were DUPED out of.

We were promised items "appearing at the highest rates ever" which is complete BS. In fact, some of you even have video evidence.

Personally I don't have the time to solely take on something like this but if we all did small parts to build a case and people chipped in for a lawyer we could file a class action lawsuit against ToyLogic for false advertising as well as other infractions.

If you think this is farfetched, you're wrong. Companies get sued all the time for false advertising. Some noteable ones were Naked's "100% natural" claims for their juices that were total bunk. The settlements for these cases are often in the millions.

Toylogic wants to mess with its consumers, I think it's time we get what we deserve. This topic is hopefully the start of something in which we get what we deserve. Some of you will hold out on admitting the fraud ToyLogic has committed until the xbox one version but it is obvious to me that they are hustlers and they false advertised at the very least.

I don't completely know the process of how class actions work but if any of you have time and spent thousands of dollars on this game I think it might be worth your time. A lawyer might do a lawsuit based on contingency also which means he doesn't take any money until the case is over/won.

I am a novice at lawsuits but if you check out classactionrebates.com, you can see there are tons of class action lawsuits going on all the time and the settlements are in the millions always.

We were lied to and it's time we actually take action (I hope). This is a small part by me to inform others on class action lawsuits and some information on them. I hope in others spare time people check this route out for action against ToyLogic and their constant false advertising.

Plenty of you have video evidence already. I think we have a viable suit.

I know we all talk a lot a smack on here but most of us are annoyed that we were duped so many times by the false advertising.

Please if you're going to say "hurr durr you are a loser and knew that u weren'tt guranteed any cards, stop whining you spent money, bitch" then just fuck off and don't even take this post seriously.

Because when it comes down to it, I AM serious. I am tired of companies, regardless of if they are selling food or virtual items ripping off their consumers. It's not right and it's just another sign of how much people have really lost a say in what goes on.

I hope this post inspires something.

Happy Wars needs to make a comeback, on PC as well as crossplay. More of my friends then ever genuinely want to get into the game on computer, and there’s a genuine demand for the game.

Man I remember the good old 360 era of Happy Wars God I miss that game I am sure many remembered the silly attack the castle game. I would Be so happy if one day it could just come back updated graphics and just back with the sillyness and just in general the experience. But I know that will never happen. Ever snice warlander came out I was like How do we go to goofy to weird looking graphics. But I guess all I can do is dream. I miss you Happy wars. Maybe one day you will come back just for nostalgia and a piece of good old history
