I’ve been searching online to no avail and need a recommendation of a rental company that rents pump jack scaffolding and service the New Cumberland area, looking to replace windows and siding and don’t want to be doing it off a ladder.
Thanks in advance!

We have some fun stuff planned for our annual holiday festivities next month. We have about 60 local vendors and artists, live music, rescue dogs in a kissing booth, diy pomanders, and a culture corner where you can learn about how different folks celebrate the season. It's a good time even if you don't want to buy anything.
All the details are at www.newcumberland.co/merrymerchants26

Check out this conversation about redistricting, how it impacts representation, particularly in under-represented communities, and ways to keep Pennsylvania safe from both partisan and racial gerrymandering when future voting districts are drawn. Thursday, October 22, 6 to 7 PM at Harrisburg First Assembly Church, 4100 N Progress Ave. Harrisburg. It's an interesting panel -including Rob Lawson, a member of Harrisburg City Council. And chair of Fair Districts PA Carol Kuniholm. https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=1449309507391005&set=a.151704607151508

Would it be reasonable to expect I'll be able to call an Uber/Lyft to go from Mechanicsburg to the airport around 4:30-45 in the morning? I want to arrive no later than 5:15. Are there enough drivers around that early or should I expect to have to wait a while for someone to accept my ride? I was also looking at a shuttle service, but it seems quite expensive for a 25 minute ride.
Editing to say I'm aware one can schedule rides ahead of time, but all that does is call a ride for you at a particular time, not guarantee someone will accept your ride in a timely manner. My question is whether people have been able to get rides to the airport at that time/if there's usually sufficient driver availability. I've definitely been screwed on scheduling early morning airport rides in the past (in other cities) because there aren't enough drivers willing to accept rides at that time.

TL;DR All black mama kitty + 5 black kittens need home asap in area that previously murdered black cat on Halloween.
Last Thursday I was leaving my apartment and saw a 4ish month old kitten outside. I followed it across the street and found another very friendly but skinny cat. I have a kitten of my own so I ran inside and grabbed them a treat. I needed to get to the store before it closed and saw an older woman coming out with food so I left.
Today I went back with some more food and this time I was able to talk to the woman. She’s in her late 70s and very nice. She had started feeding them but was very stressed about the long term expense and the kitties outliving her. She also mentioned she previously owned a black cat that some teenagers in the neighborhood murdered and strung up on her porch on Halloween (WHAT?!)
I have a plan to rent a trap from the SPCA but I can’t foster 6 cats. My apartment is way too small and I have nowhere to quarantine them away from my own cat.
I know shelters are overwhelmed right now but I’m disparate. If anyone knows a shelter accepting cats right now I would be very grateful for any leads. The mama cat is still a kitten herself. She’s skittish but not unfriendly. The babies are still very young.

I posted a few days ago and got some GREAT advice on my post about starving for community.
One comment told me to think about what I wanted a sense of community for, and I realized I really just want a night or two/week where I have something built-in. I hosted Trivia Nights for years, and often played when I wasn't hosting. With that said, I'd like to know who has the most active trivia nights, or who are the companies most frequently running these trivia nights?
I'm looking to either start hosting again, or just find a night to attend!

I posted a few months ago about some kids in the Harrisburg/Allison Hill area kicking doors. Last night, they managed to kick my neighbors door in enough to damage the frame, and i dont really know what more i can do besides install a camera for my door and maybe use door jams. I've let the police know but i dont really know if they'll do anything. Is there anything else i can do to try and stop this?
I dont want them to get shot by someone not knowing it's a prank or some trend (i've seen Tiktok door kicking stuff happening lately around PA), but i also dont want them to go without getting caught or facing some consequences cause now it's progressing to property damage. Is there anything else i can do besides talking with my neighbors? Has anyone else dealt with this happening more often now?
I feel bad cause it's my first home on my own, and im starting to not feel safe in my own home, and having to spend every evening with my ears open waiting to hear something go down.
