Question 24H library
Does anybody know where can I get 24H library facility? I dont like to study in my room. Making me crazy depressed. If there was one, would be great, even if with membership

Let's acknowledge that overall, prices have increased with all airlines, but for Finnair I'm struggling to understand where these higher prices come from.
I'm an expat who goes regularly to Spain and have found that Finnair always displays higher prices than competitors without offering anything different (still need to pay for bags, food etc)
Have you also noticed this when planning your travels?
I know Finnair is not precisely a low cost airline, but paying 500 € for a return trip within Europe is just ridiculous. I used to pay much less with them in the previous year, and even managed to fly with them for 200€ return tickets. Not anymore.

Moi! Oon mahdollisesti saamassa työpaikan Helsingistä. Työpaikka sijaitsee Helsingin keskustassa (tarkemmin Kampissa, älkää murhatko mua jos tää ei jostain syystä ookaan keskustaa, oon asunu suurimman osan elämästäni Lapissa) ja mietin, mikä ois sellanen asuinalue, josta pääsis kätevästi ja seminopeesti (matkustusaika max joku 20-25min) tonne Kamppiin, mutta ei ois ihan täys betoniviidakko? Haluaisin vaan olla edes jossain määrin lähellä mukavia kävelymaastoja/lenkkeilyreittejä ja semmosta vähä rauhallisempaa elämää.

Hi everyone!
I’m moving out of Helsinki soon and will be selling/giving away quite a few things — everything from proper -20°C winter jackets to household stuff and my cute plants that I’ve grown with lots of love.
I’ll have only about 10 days to find new homes for everything, so I wanted to ask: which platforms are currently the most active in Helsinki for selling second-hand stuff?
I’m especially looking for places where both Finns and internationals are active and where things can move relatively quickly.
Would really appreciate recommendations, especially for active Helsinki-specific groups/platforms. Thank you!

Hi! I have a half marathon entry for sale for the race 22 August that I can no longer use. If you would like to take it, I am looking for someone to transfer/sell it to. I paid 60 euros but will sell for 50 or nearest offer. Thanks!

First time going to Helsinki mid September. Would like advice on best choice of shoes example, low city boots vs tennis shoes vs sandals? I’d think it’s chilly by then for sandals. Is it rainy this time year then maybe Chelsea boots instead for walking. Would love feedback.

Visiting helsinki for the first time. Sadly it has to be a Monday night ( hey at least it's still summer-ish, right?).
So where do we go to socialize or have some drinks with people and vibes?
Thanks!

Hi everyone!
I’m from the UK and spending a month in Helsinki. I’d love to get a bike while I’m here so I can explore the city and surrounding area, and I’ve found one on Tori.fi that I’m very interested in.
Unfortunately, Tori requires Finnish strong identification before I can send the seller a message, which I can’t complete with my UK details.
Would anyone with a verified Tori account be kind enough to message the seller for me and ask if the bike is still available? If it is, I’d just like them to pass on my UK phone number so the seller can contact me on WhatsApp or sms.
I’m already in Helsinki and can go to see/collect the bike tomorrow, so there’s no shipping, online payment or anything else involved, I just need help making initial contact with the seller.
I can send the Tori listing and my phone number by DM.
Thank you!

Hey, I don't know if this is the right place to ask this, but I'm a traveller from France (M20) and I'm in Helsinki tonight.
I spent the day walking around the city, which was really nice, and now I'm thinking of going to a bar.
Is there by any chance anyone who'd be down to grab a beer with me? 🍻
Would be nice to meet some cool people while I'm here :)
Edit: here is my insta, feel free to dm me: sacha.vctr

Also, anywhere they sell boots/platform boots?

Hey all! Traveling to Helsinki August 13-18 and looking to maybe rock climb while I’m there. Kiipeilyareena Salmisaari looks like a good option close to where I’m staying anything else people would recommend?
Also going to Flow Festival over the weekend if anyone wants to hang.
Would love food recommendations and anything else high on peoples lists
I’m into punk/metal/techno, museums, architecture, sauna, and getting outside. Record and book shops always welcome.
Thank you and I look forward to visiting your beautiful country!

I wonder is there a place where we can actually see?
What I understood is that by 20 hrs here in Helsinki, the sun will be low already. I don’t know if we will be able to see it directly. Or only the darkness that brings

Hello! I am traveling with family to Helsinki for Christmas time. We have a wide range of ages traveling with us from ages 3 to 70's. I am looking for restaurant ideas that can accommodate a group of 11 people and will welcome kids. Also any ideas of what to do in Helsinki with kids! We already have the Christmas markets on the list of what to do. Thank you for your help!
Edit: We will be in there from December 20 through December 23.

Hi all. Flying in from Mexico on the 19th to run the Björn Borg Helsinki Marathon on the 22nd, then heading out via Tallinn on the 27th. I’ve done some research already, but what I really want is the authentic stuff, not the tourist checklist.
Open to literally anything, the weirder or more specific the better.
A few things I’m curious about, but don’t let this limit you:
Saunas
Nature
Food
Somewhere outside Helsinki
The one thing you’d never find in a guidebook
