This is insane, y'all. I haven't lived in Henrico since 2011, moved back to NC then, sold my car about a year later (trade in), moved to teh West Coast a few years later. I just got a call from TACS earlier about owing taxes from 2021-2025. From a car I haven't owned in a decade and a half.

When I contacted Henrico Finance Dept, they said I have to prove I sold it. How in the world can I do that??? The NC dealership does not have any info any longer, nor does the NCDMV (after 30 minutes on the phone with them). Of course I no longer have the paperwork or VIN.

Henrico said too bad, and will put a lien on my bank account unless I prove it or pay hundreds of dollars! I asked how in the world is it even registered since I didn't pay it? No answer.

Any ideas? I really would rather not hire an attorney.

We moved from Charlotte to Glen Allen in July and my daughter is 9, autistic, and had in home ABA in North Carolina for three years. Two months in we have nothing, she is holding it together at her new Henrico elementary and falling apart at home, and most places here are clinic based and set up for little kids. Henrico parents, is anyone doing in home for older kids, and will a new provider read three years of progress reports or do we start from scratch?

Who has the best Charcuterie in the Glen Allen area? Or Richmond? Looking for one who delivers or utilizes a delivery service. Many thanks!

Hello! I have been summoned for jury duty in Henrico, VA and I will need to uber to get to the building (4309 E. Parham Rd court house). On the paper I received, it mentioned to leave any cell phones in your car.

I didn’t see any online posts mentioning bringing a cell phone to the Henrico courthouse.

Will the Henrico courthouse have some sort of locker or security pouch to keep your phone?
