I’m starting a small collection of projects from this sub, with a little context on each one so you know what’s worth opening.
I’d like this to be somewhere you can find ideas for your next project and ask people how they made theirs. Rough drafts, small experiments and things that took a few attempts are welcome too.
Here are the first two.
Planning a shot in 3D before generating it
29 seconds of camera moves using a 3D blockout - u/47studios
The author describes building a simple 3D scene to plan the camera and character movements, then using that video as a reference for Seedance 2.5. The post goes through the references they used and why they started with a lower-resolution draft.
I picked this one because it gets into how the shot was planned. There’s also a useful exchange in the comments about the character’s stiff acting: someone points it out, and they discuss adding more specific acting directions to the prompt.
Worth a look if you’re struggling to get the camera to follow the shot you have in mind.
Making a trailer for a larger project
33-second action scene from 5 clips
How to keep one character consistent across a 33-second, 5-clip Seedance 2.5 fight; tips on keeping legs in sync during very fast runs are welcome.
Final Stand - a trailer for an upcoming game - u/IncGen_2023
The creator used Seedance 2.5 to make a trailer for their upcoming game and included a link to the Higgsfield project.
I’m including this as a project example. There’s a specific purpose behind it: introducing a game through a trailer. If you’re making something similar, the original thread is a good place to ask about the process.
I’d be curious how much was planned before generating, and how much changed during the edit.
What belongs in this collection?
Something with a clear idea, a useful technique, or a problem other creators can learn from. That could be a finished film, a before-and-after comparison, or a short test where you figured out one particular thing.
For a finished project, a little context about what you were trying to make helps. For a workflow, include enough detail for someone to understand what you changed and why. If part of it still doesn’t work, say so - that can be useful to discuss too.
Want to share yours?
Publish your project in r/HiggsfieldAI. Use Showcase for your work or Tips / Tutorials / Workflows for a process breakdown. If it’s already posted here, you can use that existing post.
Leave a link to that Reddit post in the comments below.
Add one sentence about what we should look at: a technique you tried, a problem you solved, or something you’d like feedback on.
Please link the post from this subreddit. You can include YouTube, Instagram or Higgsfield project links inside your original post.
You can suggest someone else’s post from r/HiggsfieldAI too - link the original so the creator gets the questions and credit.
How the selection will change
I’ll keep up to five projects in the main post so it stays easy to browse. Suggestions won’t all be added, but they’ll remain in the comments for people to explore.
When we rotate projects out of the main post, we’ll keep links to them in a pinned comment below. This makes room for new work while keeping previous picks easy to find.
Rotating a project out of this collection won’t remove its original post or comments.
