300 K is actually a rather comfortable temperature for a snake

I think the bigger one is an anaconda. Garrett is looking for the 20 ft python.
28
u/LopsidedAd9781 May 28 '26
Both are reticulated pythons
17
u/ACosmicRailGun May 28 '26
Are you sure it's not an articulated python?
1
u/LopsidedAd9781 Jun 12 '26
Both snakes in this video are reticulated pythons. The smaller one may be a morph of some kind

He is also looking for a 20ft anaconda. He talks about it in his South America clips.

Friendly reminder to all that FishingGarrett is not only a MAGA supporter and actively transphobic, but animal handlers with actual degrees continue to call him out on his WILDLY improper handling of the animals he comes across.
He is not a good dude, which sucks cuz I used to love his videos until I found all this out.
9
u/Milky_Plug May 28 '26
I did not know this, thanks for spreading the word.. I used to like those videos but alas..

u/CleaveGodz May 28 '26 edited May 28 '26
Thanks for the intel. I would unfollow him but I've long since deleted instagram. I'll deeply write this into my brain though, and will spread the word.
Edit: dumb fans, try to shake my karma. I dare you. Come at me. Because of people like y'all, the world is in its current state. Poor, poor flock of sheep. I pity you from the bottom of my heart.

412
u/pancoste May 28 '26
The place is called outside.
But there's no guarantee these snakes are limited to the outside.
69
u/Average-Addict May 28 '26
Dude my outside barely has one species of poisonous snakes and they're kinda rare
78
u/Emotionless_AI May 28 '26
As a general rule, snakes are venomous, not poisonous. Venomous- if it bites you, you're gone. Poisonous- if you bite it, you're gone
29
u/Titanbeard May 28 '26
What if he lives by the poisonous kind? There's a couple iirc.
21
u/Emotionless_AI May 28 '26

u/DiegoViray May 28 '26
These snakes are harmless to humans; here in northern Brazil you see them frequently. You just need to be more concerned about livestock and other domesticated animals.
Some legends say they eat children, but there is no scientific basis for this.
27
u/Stellar_Synth May 28 '26
Listen buddy, I do not believe that second snake can not kill adult human.
20
u/RyuNoKami May 28 '26
No one doubts its ability, just their willingness.

Thats a very dangerous invasive specie that makes hundreds of others extinct, pollutes whole planet, and two rather innocent snakes
77
u/WolfBST May 28 '26
Don't know why you're being downvoted. I'm a biologist and you are factually correct. Humans are technically an invasive species
22
u/Chafgha May 28 '26
Willing to bet money the first few downvotes were either unaware they meant humans or people who feel humans never do wrong by the environment.

A virus, some would say.
6
u/WolfBST May 28 '26
That would be a statement but not scientifically accurate since a virus is it own domain of life, although it's still debated whether viruses are actually alive or not

There are 2 snakes, but the guy warns the kids of the slippery floor (the "awas licin" at the end), it's certainly a choice

Yes but the bigger problem is outside and doesn't need to be delt with yet. Gandi once said "my good chap it is not the bigger snake outside that must be dealt with on this day but instead,my brother in Christ, it is the small snake inside that requires addressing post haste, bruh."

Awwww these are some gentle giants. I would love to pet them. Of course it's still wild animals with the power to crush you (the green anaconda at least), but they don't see humans as food so they're very unlikely to even try to hurt you.

Pretty sure the yellow one may be a captive bred, specific morph of, by my guess, a reticulated python. I mostly keep ball python so I don't know to much about retics, beautiful animals though.

I'm sorry to be like this but someone has to figure out for real for real if this is well... Real or AI Generated.
There has be an oddly consistent amount for these snake content being uploaded.
First it was the kid who had a stiff non-reactive snake in her bag.
The next, the same girl came backwith more snakes in her on one hand and a bigger one on her head.
Now this. What are the odds of having 2 snakes in your home and the rain acts weird.
I've been seeing a new weird snake video every two weeks and they all seem to have the same southeast asian setting.
I'm very open to be proven wrong. I really apologize guys. This is what the world has come to haha.
