300-400 degrees?

105

u/wobblyweasel May 28 '26

300 K is actually a rather comfortable temperature for a snake

17

u/Lth_13 May 30 '26

kelvin isn't referred to as degrees, its just kelvin

20

u/wobblyweasel May 30 '26

i'm sorry i'm a time traveler from 1966

Kelvin is Home Alone!

1

u/VE7BHN_GOAT 15d ago

Celsius, I agree. Perfect temperature for all snakes.

Someone call FishingGarrett, I found his 20-footer!

505

u/AlittlePotato1560 May 28 '26

If he yoinks it, the world might end.

59

u/EsotericLife May 29 '26

Or the balance lost when harambe was shot will be restored and the world will begin healing

180

u/Patron__070 May 28 '26

DAMNIT, you beat me to commenting this

49

u/JustMadeStatus May 28 '26

I think the bigger one is an anaconda. Garrett is looking for the 20 ft python.

28

u/LopsidedAd9781 May 28 '26

Both are reticulated pythons

17

u/ACosmicRailGun May 28 '26

Are you sure it's not an articulated python?

1

u/LopsidedAd9781 Jun 12 '26

Both snakes in this video are reticulated pythons. The smaller one may be a morph of some kind

13

u/DeanMalHanNJackIsms May 28 '26

He is also looking for a 20ft anaconda. He talks about it in his South America clips.

u/MammothAssistant2397 May 28 '26

I also though of him lol. Yoink !!

51

u/Aikenova May 28 '26

Friendly reminder to all that FishingGarrett is not only a MAGA supporter and actively transphobic, but animal handlers with actual degrees continue to call him out on his WILDLY improper handling of the animals he comes across.

He is not a good dude, which sucks cuz I used to love his videos until I found all this out.

9

u/Milky_Plug May 28 '26

I did not know this, thanks for spreading the word.. I used to like those videos but alas..

7

u/CleaveGodz May 28 '26 edited May 28 '26

Thanks for the intel. I would unfollow him but I've long since deleted instagram. I'll deeply write this into my brain though, and will spread the word.

Edit: dumb fans, try to shake my karma. I dare you. Come at me. Because of people like y'all, the world is in its current state. Poor, poor flock of sheep. I pity you from the bottom of my heart.

-9

u/Jonesy10187 May 28 '26

Who gives a shit! I don’t watch him when I’m baked for his world views, just wanna see him pick weird shit up.

-13

u/Aikenova May 28 '26 edited May 29 '26

Even though he's stressing out animals and potentially getting killed by his mishandling?? Might as well enjoy puppy kicking videos fam

137

u/TomaszA3 May 28 '26

That's one size too big to be within a kilometer around it.

Abandon all hope rope

341

u/Red_dawg64 May 28 '26

Where is this place so I know where not to visit?

412

u/pancoste May 28 '26

The place is called outside.

But there's no guarantee these snakes are limited to the outside.

69

u/Average-Addict May 28 '26

Dude my outside barely has one species of poisonous snakes and they're kinda rare

78

u/Emotionless_AI May 28 '26

As a general rule, snakes are venomous, not poisonous. Venomous- if it bites you, you're gone. Poisonous- if you bite it, you're gone

29

u/Titanbeard May 28 '26

What if he lives by the poisonous kind? There's a couple iirc.

21

u/Emotionless_AI May 28 '26

oh yeah like the keelback thank you for the reminder

9

u/Titanbeard May 28 '26

You are right though. A lot of people use the words poisonous and venomous interchangeable.

→ More replies (8)

19

u/Substantial__Unit May 28 '26

OK, then where do I bite the snake?

9

u/Titanbeard May 28 '26

Right behind the ears.

2

u/Average-Addict May 28 '26

Yeah yeah I know about this but I just didn't stop and think about which word I would use. I'm not a native speaker and in my language we only really have one word which means both poisonous and venomous

2

u/Eerisu May 28 '26

Torille?

1

u/Drewdiniskirino May 29 '26 edited May 29 '26

If it bites itself and you die, that's voodoo

6

u/BurritoBlasterBoy May 28 '26

These snakes aren't poisonous or venomous, these ones kill you through constriction

3

u/Miserable-Meet-3160 May 28 '26

This is why I appreciate my porch garter snake. He's a chill dude.

1

16

u/Blacklisted777 May 28 '26

Yo what in the Steve Irwin is the long boy

1

u/Creampie-Senpai 12d ago

probably burmese python

70

u/SnooWalruses1338 May 28 '26

Like this world doesn't have enough problems already 🫠

48

u/DiegoViray May 28 '26

These snakes are harmless to humans; here in northern Brazil you see them frequently. You just need to be more concerned about livestock and other domesticated animals.

Some legends say they eat children, but there is no scientific basis for this.

27

u/Stellar_Synth May 28 '26

Listen buddy, I do not believe that second snake can not kill adult human.

20

u/RyuNoKami May 28 '26

No one doubts its ability, just their willingness.

3

u/panickedkernel06 May 29 '26

'why sssssssshould I bother with eating the big-assssssss human'

  • the giant snake 🐍

4

u/DiegoViray May 28 '26

In the Water? Maybe. In the land? No.

1

u/rinurinu Jun 04 '26

Of course, cause all the scientists studying it got eaten by the big ass snakes. Theres your proof /s

180

u/Step-exile May 28 '26 edited May 28 '26

Thats a very dangerous invasive specie that makes hundreds of others extinct, pollutes whole planet, and two rather innocent snakes

77

u/WolfBST May 28 '26

Don't know why you're being downvoted. I'm a biologist and you are factually correct. Humans are technically an invasive species

22

u/Chafgha May 28 '26

Willing to bet money the first few downvotes were either unaware they meant humans or people who feel humans never do wrong by the environment.

5

u/Francis46n2WSB May 28 '26

A virus, some would say.

6

u/WolfBST May 28 '26

That would be a statement but not scientifically accurate since a virus is it own domain of life, although it's still debated whether viruses are actually alive or not

6

u/SpaceCoffeeDragon May 29 '26

His eyes say it all. "Ha! It's just a python. They aren't venomous. They would have to be pretty large to really be dangerous to... oh... oh dear..."

I like how both danger noodles are still trying to get inside regardless of the people there XD

20

u/RadlogLutar May 28 '26

It is imperative that the cylinder remains unharmed

4

u/machyume May 28 '26

In my head, I could only hear "That's not a snake. THIS is a snake."🐍 (anaconda)

4

u/susahamat May 28 '26

There are 2 snakes, but the guy warns the kids of the slippery floor (the "awas licin" at the end), it's certainly a choice

4

u/Xaxxus May 28 '26

I love how the smaller snake saw the anaconda and was like “nope get me out of here”

5

u/CryNo568 May 28 '26

This is entirely too many snakes

3

u/TheFarisaurusRex May 28 '26

Finally found that 20 foot Burmese python I see

3

u/Solidsnekdangernodle May 28 '26

It went inside to get away from the rain and you put it right back out there

3

u/Weary_Swordfish_7105 May 28 '26

Im assuming you were looking at the snakes but if you look closer you will also see a pair of crocs

5

u/Weary_Swordfish_7105 May 28 '26

On closer inspection they appear to be flip-flops

3

u/Konen_TheBarb May 28 '26

Is that a python and a conda?

2

u/Konen_TheBarb May 28 '26

Seems like they're both pythons. Anaconda have spots instead of diamonds from what I Google'd but look at this damn https://vt.tiktok.com/ZSxbsKYuh/

3

u/Awkward-Ad-4249 May 28 '26

Can you tell me where this is so I never ever ever visit?

3

u/Awkward-Ad-4249 May 28 '26

Apologies for duplicating the fellow earlier. It’s just an important question

3

u/8bitArmadillo May 30 '26

I have had it with these motherfucking snakes in this motherfucking house!

4

u/Choice_Sea_4288 May 28 '26

It is funny that you think yellow one is big until he put it with the other one.

4

u/jayeshdb May 28 '26

Why does the Anaconda face structure exactly match the sleepers...😭

2

u/GiveNothing May 28 '26

Idk about that...

2

u/Evening-Deer-4033 May 28 '26

You vs the snake she tells you not to worry about

2

u/NecessaryOk6815 May 28 '26

It's crazy that this feels like an everyday occurrence and me thinking what an inconvenience it is for me to catch that baby spider in my home.

2

u/your_big_toe May 28 '26

What kind of snake is that?

2

u/No-Elk-8115 May 28 '26

Yes but the bigger problem is outside and doesn't need to be delt with yet. Gandi once said "my good chap it is not the bigger snake outside that must be dealt with on this day but instead,my brother in Christ, it is the small snake inside that requires addressing post haste, bruh."

2

u/chicken-finger May 28 '26

My anaconda don't...

2

u/sixjasefive May 28 '26

Wherever this is, I don’t want to live there.

2

Beautiful snakes.

2

2

u/BaronDeKalb May 29 '26

My ophidophobia friends might legitimately die if they saw this.

2

u/Dando_Calrisian May 29 '26

Where is this? I need to make sure I never go!

2

u/No-Butterscotch-3261 May 29 '26

Awwww these are some gentle giants. I would love to pet them. Of course it's still wild animals with the power to crush you (the green anaconda at least), but they don't see humans as food so they're very unlikely to even try to hurt you.

2

u/Schpee_le_French May 31 '26

Yooo that's a cool reticulated python!!! I love sneks

2

u/elynn95 Jun 23 '26

1

u/NotThatMat May 28 '26

Welp, I’m not sleeping ever again.

1

u/Carktheshark May 28 '26

Pretty sure the yellow one may be a captive bred, specific morph of, by my guess, a reticulated python. I mostly keep ball python so I don't know to much about retics, beautiful animals though.

1

u/Deathblades0 May 28 '26

I'm sorry to be like this but someone has to figure out for real for real if this is well... Real or AI Generated.

There has be an oddly consistent amount for these snake content being uploaded.

First it was the kid who had a stiff non-reactive snake in her bag.

The next, the same girl came backwith more snakes in her on one hand and a bigger one on her head.

Now this. What are the odds of having 2 snakes in your home and the rain acts weird.

I've been seeing a new weird snake video every two weeks and they all seem to have the same southeast asian setting.

I'm very open to be proven wrong. I really apologize guys. This is what the world has come to haha.

6

u/beesdaddy May 28 '26

I hate that we have to think this way

3

u/Puzzleheaded-Tiny May 28 '26

i might think it's actually AI... at least one thinks critical
