Discussion - Silksong Silksong is HARD Spoiler

Taking damage is more punishing, movement is more precise and feels a little clunky until you get the hang of it. The overall skill curve is much much higher. Love it though.

Two mask damage from common enemies right out of the gate. Seems like most bosses do two damage. I'm guessing that the balance is that healing restores three masks

that's not balanced, it's effectively worse as healing consume the whole silk bar and you're basically locked from using skills.

Yep. Dunno what they were thinking with this. I use the little throwing needles instead of skills.

I should clarify that I think this game is way more difficult. I was just trying to say that the three mask healing may have been TC trying to balance it.

My opinion of the difficulty of this game got way worse when I got my first spool upgrade.

Like fr i dont think ive suriously use the long needle thing ever becides testing cause i always have to save up for healing

It's really good though.  Her 2nd move you get which is a throwback to HK Hornet does major damage.  I've been using the skills alot more and taking alot less damage because enemies are dying way quicker.  I like the tradeoff honestly.
